I recently stayed at a hotel located near Yas Island, and overall, the experience was quite positive, though not without its drawbacks.
Positives:
Location: The hotel enjoys a prime spot on Yas Island, placing it within close proximity to major attractions like Yas Marina, Yas Mall, and Yas Beach. It's an excellent base for both leisure and business travelers.
Staff: The hospitality was outstanding. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and eager to assist with anything we needed, from check-in to concierge services.
Facilities: The hotel boasts top-notch amenities, including a modern gym, relaxing pool area, and multiple dining options with a variety of cuisines to suit different tastes.
Room Quality: The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The layout was thoughtfully designed, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay.
Negatives:
Noise from Yas Marina Circuit: One of the major downsides was the noise level in the evenings. The hotel is located close to the Yas Marina Circuit, and the loud revving of engines during events or track sessions continued until nearly 10 p.m., clearly audible through the windows despite them being closed.
Weekend Party Noise: On weekends, the sound from concerts or events at Yas Arena was also quite disruptive, making it difficult to relax or sleep early.
Conclusion:
If you're planning to enjoy the energy and entertainment of Yas Island and don’t mind some external noise in the evenings, this hotel offers a great stay with excellent service and facilities. However, for light sleepers or those seeking a quieter environment, it may be worth checking the event schedule in advance or requesting a room facing away from the noise sources.

The staff at Rotana Yas Hotel consistently elevates the guest experience. Each team member I encountered demonstrated courtesy, expertise, and a genuine desire to provide assistance. The room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast selection was diverse and delectable. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable and efficient.
The bathroom could benefit from some refurbishment, particularly the floors and toilet. The sink tap water control was very hot a minor issue, as it could cause burns to my daughter.

1. The electrical fault was dealt with very quickly and resolved.
2. When I fell sick, staff allowed my friend to bring me some toast to our room.
3. Staff brought me lovely soup as I was sick.
4. Restaurant staff phoned the room to enquire about me and asked about me in the restaurant the next day.
The fridge wasn't working, and despite reporting it, I wasn't attended to. A small problem, but cold water would have been nice when feeling so ill.

Free shuttle to Yas Mall plus theme parks. Free access to fitness inside Plaza Centro right across Rotana. Love the view from upper floor room I stayed.
Hotel Restaurants pricey. My only regret was not using breakfast. But I will on my next visit.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the rooms were clean. The hotel is extremely well located on Yas Island
The pool area and lounges were not clean and untidy. The gym was small and old equipment. Mattresses on beds were very uncomfortable and aircon in one room was not working very well.

I liked the food and the location.
I stayed at this hotel recently. Overall, the experience was decent. The location was convenient, and the hotel had potential. However, I did face several issues during my stay.
When requesting basic services or rights as a guest, it often felt unnecessarily difficult to get a proper response. I encountered some problems because of this, which affected my comfort. Additionally, the beds seemed to have something that caused allergic reactions for me and my siblings, which was quite concerning.
While some of the staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately, not all interactions were positive. A more consistent level of hospitality would have made a big difference.
I hope the management takes these points into consideration, as the hotel has potential to offer a much better experience with some improvements

Nothing to be honest.
Every thing the swimming pool is small and always full, the main restaurant is small they invite to another room where it has a few selections of the food. Even though you are paying for the breakfast.
Rooms has no noise cancellations you can hear the people walking and you can hear the people staying above you.
A/C has weird sounds when I lower temperature.
I give it 3 out of 5.
I will be honest the only good thing about it is the staff very friendly and helpful.

On of the ladies who was there while serving dinner also great and one of the lunch ladies absolutely amazing.
In general almost everyone was so helpful .
Everything was good.Just beach was like max 5 min by car and have to take own towels or just rent by 15 AED . Pool near the beach was lovely .

- There are no easily accessible electrical outlets by the desk
- The chair doesn't fit under the desk. A proper desk chair might be better.

Breakfast didn’t have much variety — it was exactly the same every day. It was also very crowded, likely because of the summer season. I visited in October two years ago and it wasn’t nearly as busy.

- Noisy sounds from corridor in the morning and almost i can hear everything, even outside loud sounds like plans.
- i put dont disturb sign and i surprised in the morning clean staff knocking the door and the sign was been thrown inside the room from outside.
- Once i entered my room i received phone call and they were asking me to check the room next to me about a resident if he checked out or not and i was surprised.
- Bad smell inside bathroom even after cleaning next day
- When i went to swimming pool with my little son the lifeguard asked me to take shirt off when entering hot tub and after one hour before we get out an employee (not guard) ask me to take shirt off as it is not allowed in the whole swim pools and i told him most of residents swimming were wearing their shirts
And this wasn’t acceptable
- there is no furniture for the floor, next day they changed sofa i don’t know why

The open area of the breakfast buffet was very nice. Also breakfast was good with lots of variety. Staff were very friendly as we requested connecting rooms and we got them.
It was very crowded. I have kids aged 5 and 2.. and the pool area was very crowded for them. Also the kids club - the kids were fighting but staff handled it well.

The hotel should seriously reconsider opening their restaurants to match Etihad events. Our show was at 7:30pm and the restaurant opens only at 6:30pm.
Having blinds covering the bathroom window but inside the bedroom is an interesting concept (basically the person in the bathroom has got no control over what the other person can do with the blinds!)

Good location.
We had a 2 bedroom suite. The televisions turned themselves on in both rooms all night, every 20 minutes. Apparently this has never happened before so it is a huge coincidence then. We had to unplug the screens (not easy, jammed behind the screen itself, 3am) to get any sleep. Bad night meant we missed breakfast.
Rooms are basic and beds a bit hard.
Generally, service misses the mark everywhere. They are all polite but no one is competent. It feels like all the staff just kind of hate the place. Management did call to apologise and we were refunded breakfast charges which we appreciated. But we won’t stay there again.

Oh, I can’t express everything but this is the best stay in Abu Dhabi. You get a pool, beach, spacious rooms, amazing breakfast. Easy access to all attractions such as Ferrari World, Sea World, etc, including free shuttles to and from hotel.
We got a room upgrade for our family for free and was sooo good, the view from the room also amazing. Definitely will return more

Breakfast was lovely but packed full. Opened extra breakfast location which I was offered, but that was small and lacked the variety of the main breakfast venue. Staff reseated me there with no question.
Only got sun at the pool until about 2pm. This could be made clear at booking. Doesn't worry some people, but I go to lay by the pool and relax in the sun.

Was there for new years eve its so natural ppl sleep late n wake up late being new years eve
So we checked in around 8pm on 31/12/2025
Asked if we could join the gala dinner but were refused stating they are fully booked
So we preferred enjoying out of the premises n by the time we slept n woke up we were asked to check out by sharp 1:00 pm on 1st jan 2026
Inspite of requesting the lady at the reception to allow us atleast until 2pm so that we could manage to wake up n get ready as we were 4 of us with only 1 bathroom facility
We were denied right down n given an ultimatum ?to check out at 1:00 pm
