The bathroom could have been cleaner. Also, someone turned the heating up to maximum, so the room smelled like burning and felt like a sauna when we entered. After turning the heating down and opening the windows, it got bearable, but the smell lingered for a while.

For the price, the room was spotless and quiet. The beds were also quite comfortable. As the Inn is not even 5 min away from the Westbahnhof, its location is ideal to travel around.
The only downside of the Inn was the smell in the corridor. Luckily it wasn't present in our room, but the corridor smelled strongly of cigarettes.

I enjoyed my stay generally at The Do Stay Hostel I found staff generally quite helpful and made some great friends at the hostel.
I like that there were cooking facilities available at the hostel. The hostel was in a great location as it was central to many of the touristic attractions of Vienna.

Other guests were prostitutes or drug addicts or what? Shouting, cursing, slamming doors, all day and night. I didn't feel safe to leave my room to go to the toilet. What a horrible experience.

The room was clean and ready for check-in on time.
There is a luggage room available where you can store luggage safely in case you arrive early.
The building has thin walls and doors, although the only time when it was a problem was at 7 am when a bunch of little kids started running screaming and playing through the building very loudly.

- Luggage room was accessible and convenient

- Great location: close to Westbahnhof Station and LIDL supermarket
- Some areas were only accessible if you paid more. For instance, at any time in the day, you can only sit at the tables next to the bar if you are ordering drinks. This makes no sense as there are many people working on their laptops in need of a table. If we've already paid for the hostel we should be able to make use of its spaces.
- Don't expect this to be a travellers hostel, there are many people staying here for long periods of time. As a female solo traveller I had some uncomfortable encounters with men in this hostel. The staff were, however, very helpful and changed me to another room.
- Not the best hostel if you're a light sleeper, although they provide free earplugs.

The place was very comfortable and the environment was very friendly. I really enjoyed the bar and the receptionist that helped me was very supportive.
1) There was no switch close to my bed. All of them were in the other side of the room so I couldn’t charge my phone during the night.
2) Some of the staff were a little rude;
3) There was no place to hold the shower while showering, we have to hold it and it makes showering more complicated.

Bed and bedding very comfortable. Very clean and well maintained, loved the decor and facilities outside. Guest kitchen with good facilities.
Would have liked shower head on brackets. I am aware of your reasoning for this, but I don't believe I would use more water just because the shower head is on brackets. The water wasn't very warm in the evenings, better to shower in the morning.
Hair dryer useless. I have quite long hair took so long to dry my hair with it that I didn't bother using it

The room is clean, the beds are comfortable and the lockers are huge. Both my backpack and my suitcase fit inside and there was still space left at the top. The shower is hot and easy to control and its extractor fan works pretty well so no moisture nor smells entered the room.
I believe the only problem that was not easily possible to overcome is the padlock specification for the lockers. In my case I brought one that worked fine but some of my roommates didn't. If the padlock is not thick enough it is still possible to open the locker (you still can close your padlock, but it will be like there is nothing there, a bit complicated to explain). At the end of my stay I found a sticker with specifications where it says the thickness should be between 4,5 and 6,5 millimetres (my padlock was 5mm thick). Of course you can buy one at the hostel but we usually just want to bring our own and I would have liked to know those specifications before arriving.

Extra charges everything. €2.40 per item for ironing. Laundry was ridiculously expensive at €18.

Uniquely relaxing cellar-inspired room design, only second to their broad courtyard filled with sunlight and blue sky. And of course the breakfast/lunch/dinner I did in the courtyard, with foodstuffs procured from the largest best-buy supermarket in front of the property. Time spent with the other guests some of whom don't mind cooking for the other guests. It's got all the hip elements you can expect from the hostel experience, even if you are not so lucky (if you see what I mean).
The room was slightly humid, and the neighbor is not the world's best in the least to say,

My room could be entered directly from the hostel garden, so you basically sleep next to the street which is okay for summer though but not sure about other seasons. There is for sure some problem with ventilation there, because it smelled not nice and there was some kind of mold on the ceiling in the shower. Another thing is sockets which can be places very far from your bed. In general, I recommend choosing this place only if it’s for 1-2 nights and you cannot find anything else for this price.

Near center 10min walk, WiFi ok, kitchen well equipped, nearby is wesrbanhof where you wait for a bus to airport every 30min.
On last day before check out, to many kids(30) absolute no control yelling, pushing. I thought this was a business hostel instead it's kindergarten.
