The privat beach was far from the hotel ( a 10 min walk)
The snack bar close at 16:00 so if you are hungry there us nothing to eat exept for pizza.

Staff was a bit uninformed, weird process for some of the activities..you need to do a bit of detective work to find out how get acces to minigolf, the climbing wall is not available as schedualed all the time, stuff like that.

Location great, only 30 minutes away from Burgas airports by car or taxi. 3 minutes walk form the beach.
Beach is very good, soft sand and kids friendly sea (large shallow end, no steep drop into the deep).
Hotel has 2 deep pools and one shallow heated pool (it is not always on, only when it is less hot outside, which makes sense), and one indoor pool. 3 slides which our 2 kids (age 7 and 9) have really enjoyed.
Kids club is good and runs 2 times per day (morning and afternoon) - which is included in price.
Towels for the pool and the beach can be exchanged for fresh ones any time you need, which is simply fantastic.
Room key is on your hotel wrist band, and you can get one for each family member - great idea, super convenient.
Soft drink and coffee machines are placed through hotel, so you can always have a drink to hand. Bar serves good alcohol and cocktails - does not taste weak or diluted.
You get good bar snack throughout the day - burgers and hot dogs. Ice cream for kids.
Hotel has medical centre on site, but you do need to have an insurance for it.
Even with some negatives, we would gladly return to this hotel, we had a good holiday.
Staff's command of English is not enough to provide good service. Even reception was straining to understand some of our enquiries. There are some really grumpy and unfriendly individuals in reception, which is off-putting. We were checked in by a girl, who did not explain us everything about hotel facilities, and really acted like we are a bother. Not all staff is like that, but it was a spoiled experience for us.
Out shower was a pain, as it was leaking through the shower screen and the floor was a constant pool of water. We have reported this to reception and had an "engineer" attending, however he did not fully rectified the issue, and because it was so hard to explain the problem in the first place (due to command of English) and mission impossible to communicate with engineer (who only spoke Bulgarian), we had to giver up, and use our towels to make is safe for kids.
Food, as in many other reviews - boring and repetitive, not the best. Yes, you will not go hungry, but really reminded me a Soviet canteen. Staff handling the food, again no English, so if you need any help - you won't get it. On the positive - Indian food was fantastic, even fussy kids enjoyed it, and Chinese was a fun experience.
Beach bar - bad. You will queue for 40 minutes to an hour to get a plain grilled cheese sandwich, because only one person is helping in the bar. Need 2 or 3 people.
Indoor pool could be cleaner.
Room cleaning - bad. Only bed were made, towels were changed, and a light wipe down in the bathroom - but not even a mirror clean. There was dust everywhere, and floors that are carpeted are not hoovered. Phone next to my bed had an ancient layer of dust, and so did the TV.

Hotel is perfect for families. So much to do for children with all the pools, slides, parks and kids club. Evening entertainment was good and interactive again very good for children. The room was excellent plenty of room very comfortable and good views.
As we were end of season the restaurants were reduced to just 1 in the hotel and it was very busy still so it was crowded. Also the food could be more varied but again I'm not sure of this is because it was the end of season.

The noise is horrible, the loud music of the hotel is Neverending, if you want your kids to take a nap in the afternoon don t expect silence. Also the other guests are always screaming on the halls... like animals! The music doesn't end until midnight
The pools are not heated, just by the sun, so the water is cold!
I would like to see more acurate reviews because i choose this hotel based on the reviews saying that at least one pool is heated and they have a private beach, but their "private beach" has nothing to do with the sea.

Surrounding the pools was constantly an awful smell, pee smell I think. The rooms and pool area need renovation. In the toilets near the pools, even the toilet from the reception, was also a pee smell.

We got a big room with a pool view, comfy bed, food was great, staff was great, everything was pretty much great as expected from a Melia Hotel.
The late shows were nice and with variety but it could get pretty loud if you wanted to go to sleep at 11 pm, hard to put the kids to sleep - but that too was expected given the room location slightly close to the show area.

Food was below average. At dinner you could find some things to eat, but the breakfast was just really bad. The water tasted funny. The pools could have been cleaner, especially the kids pool and water slides pool which had old dirt on the walls. Wi-fi was awful. We didn’t have bath facilities for 4 stars.

The staf is poorly trained and also reluctant to help. The cleaning service miseded a day. Staff on the restaurants were not heaping. I tried to make a complaint and they kept me waiting for 20 minutes for a form. The receptionist managed to book our room in the early morning for another family... they try to talk us out of it and ofer to not pay the parking fee ?.. also the pool area with the sunbeds is small for the huge capacity of the hotel. The food was nothing special and every day the same dishes.

Non-existent WiFi in the room (reported to the reception but hasn't been fixed). Leaking bathtub (again not fixed after being reported). Really bad coffee. And the worst of all, we had very serious food poisoning, we have eaten only in the restaurant in the hotel so definitely that was caused by hotel food, possibly not washed vegetables. Because of it we were seriously ill for 3 days.

- I must say, that I think the hotel staff make the most out of the resources that they have
- despite the enormous number of people at the hotel throughout our stay stay, there was not a single time when something was not functioning or something was missing, for example, there was always enough food, the water tanks were always filled in a timely manner, toilets were clean and never blocked. Thats impressive considering, again, the huge amount of people living there
- when we complained about the noise, we were offered a different room, when we asked for an iron and even for a potty - were provided both within half an hour. Big thanks!

- I have never been to such a crowded hotel. There are thousands of people while the territory of the hotel is quite small - you end up being in crowded spaces all the time.
- there is no escape from noise - we first lived in one room facing the swimming pools and the stage and there was loud music throughout the whole day basically. We then moved to a room on the other side of the hotel facing the kids club and the garden and the sea - it was supposed to be quiet there, but turned out only for a day. The rest of the days there was either karaoke night or live music night until 23:00, so neither the adults nor our 3,5 year old child could sleep at our regular times, because it was just too loud even with windows closed. We were exhausted by the end of our stay.
- there seemed to be lost of activities being organised by the hotel but they were just not fitting our schedule. The show starts at 21:30. Kids disco (with a huge crowd of kids) starts at 20:30.
- I saw some other kids being happy with the (international) kids club. But my super social child who liked all clubs in her life before, didn’t want to stay there. The facilities are small and with no aircon. And there was one teacher who didn’t smile even once at me or a child over several days that I observed her. I found this strange and not very professional.
- many people just don’t know how to behave. Many times it felt like living in a huge student dorms. People shouting to each other in the corridors, slamming the doors so that my bed was shaking, being loud when returning to their rooms after midnight, and on several morning I heard our neighbour’s alarm clock ringing for more than 5 minutes every time which is very irritating and does not contribute to the sense of privacy and getting a rest at the hotel.
- in the end we left one day earlier to get some proper rest at a quieter place.

Excellent service, especially given high number of visitors during the season. All areas are clean, variety of food and non alcoholic beverages, I counted 7 pools (one indoor), during the season it was crowded, but possible to find sunbeds near the pool or on the beach (sometimes it took time though). After 11pm it was quiet, maybe we were lucky with neighbours and pool view windows)) Near the hotel bus station, carefour market, pharmacy located. Overall, nice place to have a vacation

The property was great! Great location in Sunny Beach, amazing rooms and staff, a wide choice of restaurants within the resort. I didn’t really like that their private beach a bit far from the hotel itself, but not that bad.. 10 min walk max!
Unfortunately, myself and my husband (and other people too from what I could see), got food poisoning and I ended up at the hospital (along with other people from the resort).
BUT, the staff and the manager were amazing and understood we wanted to check out 2 days prior our official check out date, and managed to get a refund for the 2 nights, which was exceptional! Many thanks for the whole team for sorting this out!
I do think the kitchen staff should be in charge in finding out what type of food is infected as many people were bad because of it. It’s such a shame that such a great hotel has such issues.

Very clean. Food was great with plenty alternatives. The staff did a great job. Beach is close, sand is great.
Pool water was cold for our taste, including the inside one (although better than outside). Kids pool (they have three or four, the one with running water at least) was not heated.

Food, location and facilities were terriffic.
The soap for the showers was across the bathroom and not in the shower. It made cleaning up dangerous. Parking was not available on-site.

We had a wonderful family vacation, and everything was just awesome! The hotel is great, the food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally pleasant.
Everyone was eager to help with any question or request. The pools are great, lots of music, fun and children facilities. The hotel has a private beach located within 5 min walk, serving drinks, ice cream and panini sandwiches during day.
I want to give special thanks to Dara from Reception A – she helped us a lot during our vacation, was very pleasant, and kind!

Food was very good, it was different almost every day. The hotel has lots of restaurants and bars. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Overall a very good experience.
The pool was very crowded, you couldn't find a free sunbed. Also the water in the pool was very cold.

Everything was great - great location, a lot of events and games for kids, very good food and clean room and facilities. The staff was also very nice and helpful.
The water in the large pools was pretty cold, my older daughter was shivering after 10 min in the pool. The kids pools were warm enough though.

The beach is quite far from the resort, you have to cross two streets to get to it and it’s in the second line on the beach, so you will never get front sea rows.

Staff was friendly, there was a lot of sunbeds and parasol available, water slides were fun, well maintained and always supervised, room was big and food was excellent, with a good variety!
We missed some plugs near the bed, more cheerful music on the pool area (always the same and some very sleepy/down ones), and the entertainment could vary more during the day. The night show on Saturday seemed like a school play with a lot of not well practiced small shows not connected to each other. But overall we had a good stay!

Excellent all-inclusive package and a great location, very close to a beautiful beach. Unfortunately, we visited at the end of September, so we couldn’t swim and the weather was quite unpredictable. That said, this was our choice of timing, not a fault of the hotel. The hotel itself is great, and we would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy the experience.
