The carpet in the room looked really gross .... we did not dare to touch it and had to wear slippers. But I guess it is common for price level like this. The garbage bin is too small for prolonged stay. The AC could not be turned off since it was winter, but it became super noisy once it reached the set temperature when it started to blow wind into the room to circulate the air, so noisy that we were woke up several times at night. At the 2nd night we had to open the window to let the temperature drop to make the AC start warming up again to reduce the noice.

The rooms were good size/space. However, the coffee machine had old coffee grinds in where the water was meant to go, and it was green and mouldy. So it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. This then just made me feel like everything else was dirty and unclean.

Location was good, I could walk most places and those I couldn't there was a bus stop right outside. The kitchenette had most things you would want and did enable me to do a couple of meals in the room l.
The room was dated and wasn't very clean with dust accumulated next to the bed and wardrobe. The heater for the room is noisy so if you are a light sleeper you might struggle. Breakfast was average but lacked fruit/veg.

It's a good option to be on the downtown, we walked to most of places, the room was big and convenient with a small but useful kitchen, it has parking, the breakfast is good. They storage our luggage for a few hours after our check out. I made the right choice booking here.
The only thing I can think of is the breakfast time 6 am to 9 am is limited for a group of Mexicans tourist :)

Breakfast was pretty good with decent choices including hot food, and included in price adding to the reasonable value.
Car parking easy around the back although ground floor level did become full - although I expect there was free space in the additional underground parking. Additional charge for parking but not uncommon in city centre hotels.
Location fairly central - within walking distance to all the main attractions.
Everything felt a little dated, but the hotel does appear to be undertaking some improvements.
The curtains/blinds need replacing/improving as let in far too much light.
The air con power point in my room was a bit dodgy and needed to fiddle with it to get the unit working.

It’s really nice floor plan with separate areas of bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchenette. With some mugs, cups, utensils and pots for us to use. Clean rooms and appliances. Good soundproof bedrooms for a night quiet sleep (consider the location is at downtown). Access to ice cubes machine in the hallway.
You also can do your own laundry by the basement parking spot, also available a fending machine that has some detergent that you can buy.
We have nice breakfast too with standard breakfast hotels (bagels, muffins, eggs, bacons, coffees, chocolate milk and juices).
The basement parking was very secure. You only can access it with your hotel magnetic card. But it just only for vehicles not more than 6” height.
The hotel also located right on the corner by the traffic light closed to some convenience stores like circle K and Dollarama. Also a gas station and some restaurants.
Overall we really love this hotel suites. We probably will be back if we have other events close by or just want to stay in a nice affordable hotel with family.
The sofa bed was ripped open in some corner, kind of dirty (probably because it was old) and smell funny (especially when we open the bed). Time to change it I guess. That’s why I didn’t give a perfect score for this hotel.
And also it’s typical downtown life. A lot of homeless across the hotel (on the parking lot in front of circle K) and sirens from police cars or ambulances. But since the bedrooms are soundproof, it didn’t really bother us.

Hot Breakfast was fine. Yogurt, granola, they serve beans for some reason along with the eggs and bacon, oatmeal, waffle, cereal, etc.
The original bath plug was not a good fit as it made air bubbles. I was still able to have a bubble bath, however the delay to replace it was really inconvenient. The last thing you want is someone coming into your room while you're taking a bath to deliver a replacement bath plug, you know?

Location is great. Walking distance to everything in downtown Calgary.
Room size was large too. Also had a fridge and microwave . It did the job for what I needed
Aware it’s being renovated. I was in an unrenovated room and everything just old and worn.
Staff were just to the point polite.
Shampoo and conditioner (super small) wasnt replaced by cleaners- I had to go down and ask.

Breakfast was very poor. Not much choice. Plastic cutlery and paper plates. Horrid.
