The location was good.

Small bedroom with community showers in the hallway with no privacy, it was a maze to get to your room and I wonder if there would be an emergency if we would be able to find the exit in the confusion. Oneven floors in bedroom, no fresh air ventilation, stinky room, everything felt dirty. I was ready to leave and not get my money back but due to the late arrival we choose to stay. Door was closed on arrival and staff didn’t react to us knocking and ringing doorbell. We had to wait for another guest to show up with key. I had an uneasy and unsafe feeling, bed was loud every time I turned and barely slept for this reason.

Nothing. Like really nothing. It was ridiculously expensive for the worst stay I ever had.

Our room didn‘t even have a window, had a sickening smell when you didn’t blow the AC on full fan mode and left the door open for about an hour. On top it was badly furnished with worn down and mixed together furniture. The room as well as all other amenities were not only in bad condition, but also filthy. The staff wasn‘t friendly. Other guests were super loud even during quiet hours.

Travelling to TO all I want is a room with a bed, a lock on the door, and access to a bathroom. I appreciate a clean room with control over the temperature. That's it. I got everything I wanted for a cheap rate (by TO standards. Expectation is everything. Expect what you need. Saint Lawrence was perfect.

The location is very convenient.

The suite I rented for two nights consisted of a bedroom and private bathroom, and a little kitchenette. I can't tell anything bad about the equipment, but the room was unbearably stuffy. It didn't have a window (I mean, it did, but one that was untransparent and unopenable, and I suspect it wasn't even exposed to outside but rather placed between the rooms - I saw dim electric light through the pane), and the place must have been cleaned just before my arrival with the use of very strong detergents which not only smelled horrible, but turned out to be slightly toxic. It made me feel dizzy and nauseous from the get-go. It was impossible to ventilate the suite, although I left the door open for a long time and switched on two aircon ventilators in the room and in the bathroom to create a draught. They were working all night and the only effect was that they made me sick. So, I ended up with stomach issues and headache from the detergents, and with sore throat, cough, and fever from aircon, which ruined my trip to the Niagara Falls and made my flight back to Poland a nightmare. The WiFi was 5G, but clearly overburdened, because it was to weak to open most websites, so I was using my mobile phone signal anyway. I'm normally not picky at all and don't need luxury. Yet, this is not just about convenience, but about actual safety. Well, of course, it could have been worse, but for such conditions, the price was certainly over the top. Moreover, it turned out to be higher than displayed on booking.com.

Price is very good - significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area. I'll also note a bunch of reviews mentioned scams, which was not my experience: they put a $200 deposit on my card, but it was refunded within a day of checking out. Given that it's a very cheap hostel, they charge for things nicer places would not (e.g., leaving towels in the shared bathroom), but I was very careful to leave the room in exactly the state I got it, and got my full deposit back.

You very much get what you pay for, 'bare bones' doesn't even begin to cover it. Despite being close to nice parts of Toronto, the place itself is on a pretty rough block and the interior is not nice either - smelled vaguely of heavy-duty cleaner layered on top of urine.

Extremely well situated. 10-minute walk from Dundas Square and its attractions. Very nice staff. Amazing rooftop terrace open 24/7. Amazing value for the price in this part of town.

While my room was clean, the bathroom could need a real deep cleaning. It was not dirty but the toilet seat and shower head would both need to be replaced. The bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise each time I tried to move and the AC was working at maybe 20% of its capacity. Again, this is a very cheap stay so these are not REAL problems. It’s just some things that could have been better. But I was really satisfied with the place.

I was just crashing for 12 hours in Toronto. It was about as expected. Once inside fairly comfortable, room small but perfectly adequate, and good shared facilities, staff very kind. Area rather poor but perfectly OK once inside. Suspect may depend very much on other visitors. Perfectky good for what I wanted.

Nothing they can do about it but area was quite noisy and I did not feel very confortable standing on the street at 7am waiting for a non existent taxi.

The elevator is not available, so u have 2 to carry your heavy bags. You have to use small narrow stairs.. Wifi was not working Bed spread, sheet, and comforter were so dirty looking. The hot water was not coming often. In the middle of a shower, cold water used to come rather than hot.
