The hotel has everything one needs at a nominal cost. Friendly staff, clean upscale environment, great location.
The breakfast area is small and it can get overcrowded. Breakfast food options are good.

The from desk was friendly.
The bed was not comfortable at all and pillows were not comfortable either, the bath tub was so low , the toilet paper wasn’t in the correct position to reach. The breakfast was awful, the first day no eggs ( machine was not working) they said. No boiled eggs, no options for fruits during 4 nights stay I just saw apples. So crowded in the breakfast area , no room to seat ….. horrible experience.

The breakfast buffet was excellent! Very tasty, hot and plentiful. Best hotel continental buffet breakfast I've ever had. Room was excellent, comfy and clean. Despite being a bit away from downtown (we were foot passengers taking transit), we will return!
The hashbrowns at breakfast were not very hot. That's it!

The breakfast is really good! They have complimentary shuttle service that brought us to the downtown. The room is nice and clean!
The only issue I had was that, it took time before they reverted the security deposit to my bank account. Other than that, it’s good, the location is ~20 minutes away from the downtown, but they have complimentary one-way shuttle service.

Breakfast was amazing.
Warning!!! I booked this place for a week for my brother online and no where does it say the person booking it needs to be there or have to supply a credit card when the guests I booked for show up. I had to drive over an hour from my home in Washington State USA to Vancouver Canada at 10pm to give them my credit card and ID because they had to have someone whose name is on the booking with a credit card there to give a deposit and my brother didnt have a credit card. This was a HUGE inconvenience for me as I live in another country and would have to cross the border etc. I am just thankful that I only lived an hour and a half away because the hotel said they were going too have to reimburse me and turn my brother away if I didn't show my face with my ID! I asked to speak to a manager and there was no manager on site/to speak with and the person at the desk felt horrible she couldn't help, she said she talked with a manager and was told she would lo

I didn't like having the room on Hastings side. I booked a room with a view thinking I would be on the other end of the hotel which would have been quiet.

The room perfectly matched the photos—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with essentials like a hair dryer, iron, and even a microwave. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was decent for a three-star hotel. Overall, it was truly one of our best stays.

Free breakfast
The staff clearing the breakfast dishes had a terrible attitude. Not only was she wearing earphones the whole time, but she also slammed the plates making a lot of noise.
After the staff added hand soap to my room (as I requested), they left without properly closing the door. The door remained open until I returned in the evening.

The very rude housekeeping lady who woke all of us up at 8am! Knocking the door non stop until she wakes everyone up (my 2 months old baby) in the room and trying to “educate” us to use Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Who the heck would want a stay over cleaning at 8 in the morning! Please “educate” your staff to have more common sense.
