The location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends & family near by. There are lots of restaurants close by and the neighborhood is quiet. The breakfast is exceptional with made to order eggs, meats, fruit, etc. The staff are friendly & helpful! Cambie Lodge is now our go-to place to stay when visiting Vancouver!

It was comfortable.
A couple of people and I arrived at the property seconds apart, but the got to the door less than a minute before me. I had to catch a flight to pick my dad up for cancer surgery, so I asked the other guest if they mind if I grabbed my keys first so I could run put the door. The person that was checking us in answered by for them, but her attitude was unpleasant, to say the least. A simple no from the other guests wouldve sufficed. I cannot recommend this place, based on my personal experience. I do recognize that the place was clean and comfortable enough, and the other staff members were great (the chef and the younger woman that was sweeping in the morning), and you may have a much nicer experience than mine.

The staff we dealt with were fantastic - very courteous and helpful in getting us settled. The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. The neighborhood is great for walking and browsing. There are great restaurants within walking distance. And easy access to public transit.
The room we were in is very small and we found it incredibly tight for two. The room is really meant for a single person.
There was nowhere to hang clothes. And a small table would have been handy.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked the location, and the room was clean and had what we needed..I like the decor,, a nice ancestral cottage vibe. The street is relatively quiet but still close to a busy road with restaurants and public transit. There are no e porches to sit on for a little rest between excursions.
I was expecting a little more in the breakfast area but it was quick and friendly.
The room (Granville) was on the first floor and the guests above us were a little loud and clumsy ,unfortunately.. so I would be happy to stay again but on the upper level.

Was a great location - we could walk into Downtown Vancouver which was great ! The breakfast was a highlight - lovely food and beautiful deck out the back . Staff very friendly and attentive . Our room was very comfortable and clean . Quiet spot so we slept very well . Thanks Cambie Lodge for a great stay !

Communication with Cambie Lodge was excellent; we were arriving after 5:00 and not sure of procedure but it was simple! The staff are really lovely. I had a good omelette for breakfast in the pretty seating area just off the kitchen. Our room was perfect for what we needed (one night in Vancouver so we could get to early morning medical appointment) and was a 10 minute walk to VGH.
My only suggestion for the Cambie Lodge is to stop using scented products on laundry and carpets :).

My room was very smelly. It smelled really bad of sewage and I arrived late and could see all windows were left open and a fan was turned on, which indicated that they probably knew about the problem. All my clothes smelled like it afterwards and had to be washed.
Also the room had no air con - there was a fan and windows could be opened, but the hospital is nearby and it was impossible to sleep with the windows open, which made the room so hot in late July! I cut my trip short of one night - I’m a bit disappointed.

the room is not fit to host 3 persons AND their luggage ! no space enough to store clothes, shoes, and luggage, this could absolutely be better ... invest in smart storage tricks, Ikea is full of it, and not that expensive, the fridge is nice but if you would incorporate this in a handy cupboard, would be better ! the carpet was not cleaned under the TV nor under the bed... overall less carpets would be better

We were moved to Windsor Lodge…another one of their properties..The location is in a lovely tree lined road about 5 mins walk to the station which takes you to downtown . The property is old in Canadian terms and is full of original features such as stunning stained glass windows.
Very hot in the attic where we were. Even with fans provided. No air conditioning. No mosquito nets on windows.

Cambie Lodge is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a place to stay that is away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Vancouver which is only a 10min Uber or 30min walk away. We were greeted upon our arrival warmly and provided with all the relevant info we needed for our stay. Our room was a bit small (Granville … our choice given price point), but very clean with a newly tiled walk-in shower. Morning breakfast provided both a self-service and a cook to order option (eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast) with seating available both on the patio & sunroom. The staff was friendly and responsive without being intrusive. I would rate our overall B&B experience in the high 4’s out of 5. Touring both the Mt Pleasant neighborhood/Main St along with the quarry gardens of Queen Elizabeth Park were worthy side trips.

Nice calm place full of character and charm in a beautiful tree lined street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to public transport (City Hall station on the Canada line of the metro system). So nice to be close to the city, but away from the noise and the crowds when you want it.
It is a bit dated, but that adds to the charm of the place. No real negatives.

The room was a box 12x12 no Aircon and it was oppressively hot on arrival it had a stand alone noisy fan, a sink without a plug, no space to move about in, the fridge was next to the bedside table, I did complain, however, I had to go to the other B&B next door and await someone to arrive and was informed we could move rooms for the 2nd night and then move again for the 3rd night, we also had to go to the other B&B for breakfast, the rooms were only cleaned after they became vacant, their pictures of the property were misleading. we was meant to return at the end of September this will not be happening..

Location is very good, not far from the canada line and handy to buses and restaurants. The breakfast was good basically eggs anyway you wanted plus cereals, toast, pastries etc. They accommodated our request for a kettle and tea rather than a coffee machine in the room.
Our bedroom was a little smaller than i expected. We weren't sure if we could get to hotel between 3 and 5 as our international flights could be delayed and sought a means of entry after hours and this was not forthcoming despite several emails from us. As it turned out the flight was on time. Check in is via ringing doorbell and waiting for staff to arrive from
Guesthouse next door.

The home was beautiful and inviting. Arrival and self-check-in were seamless following the text instructions sent to us on the day. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. It had all the amenities we would have expected with a small fridge, tea and coffee and such.
The room layout was a bit odd with the sink outside the toilet/shower room; a bit inconvenient when using the facilities in the middle of the night. Being an older home, and lacking air conditioning, our second floor room had 2 windows which would have allowed more airflow had we been able to open both of them. The provided fan helped to keep us cool enough.

The rooms and beds and bedding were so comfortable! Lovely heated flooring in the bathroom, and fans were available in the room for those who like white noise and/or moving air for sleep . Fantastic location, so easy to access restaurants and public transportation. The breakfast the next morning was such a lovely treat and had delicious food. I would 100% recommend and I hope to be back someday soon:-)

I liked everything about this stay: the location was exceptional, the room was very warm and clean with all the necessities. Staff was really kind and welcoming.
