The Hotel Kong Arthur is my go-to hotel for Copenhagen and after a first positive experience on my first trip to the city, I chose it again for my current trip. The location is perfect - a close five minute walk to the metro/train and just outside of the tourist trap zone, so it's a quieter location.
The rooms are compact and efficient with a lovely comfortable bed and excellent bathroom with a glorious shower. Scandinavian, it is.
Staff are friendly and very helpful, typical of the Danish. Concierge offers good suggestions for things to do and places to eat and I cannot find a single thing to nitpick at.
Speaking of food, please try the excellent La Rocca Italian restaurant that's located right next door and a short walk across the courtyard. Ended up dining there thrice during our visit because the food is so good and after several exhausting days exploring Copenhagen and surrounding towns, it was a logical choice. (Hint - get the Copenhagen Card when visiting - trains/metro/bus/museums etc included).
As the Terminator said, "I'll be back".
As March weather can be a bit chilly, the hotel rooms did have the heat on (radiators) - the thermostat on the wall does not change the temperature, LOL. I opened a window and mentioned it to the front desk who offered the same advice. Not a criticism at all, but more of a quaint quirk.

The location is very convenient, three blocks to Norreport station. The rooms are comfortable and staff were all very friendly.
We went to a concert and if was so easy by metro to get to, also only 25 minutes, including the walk to the metro to get to the airport.

The hotel is located in a wonderful area. Near lots of shops, restaurants and the Metro. It is very walkable to many interesting sites also. The room was nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable and the temperature in the room was ideal. The bathroom was alright. The body wash and lotion were lovely. I enjoyed using these items each day because the scents were very appealing.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The only thing that was weird was that my room was not cleaned daily, while my friend's rooms were cleaned regularly and our rooms were next to one another. I had to ask the hotel for my room to be cleaned a couple of times.

The heating in the room and bathroom seem to be managed centrally and got very hot sometimes. Although there was a room thermostat it didn’t seem to work properly. So we kept the window open in the evenings.

The hotel staff are very welcoming. The room was a perfect size with a good bathroom, which had an excellent shower. Beds were very comfy and supportive. We went out for breakfast each day but the hotel does provide a full Danish breakfast. The hotel Kong Arthur has a 'Cosy Hour' when they offer free drinks which is a lovely touch. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and also to head across the water to Nørrebro district.
Hotel Kong Arthur was perfect for our needs and was good value for money. I'd go back again and would recommend.

Fantastic stay! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb.
'happy hour' was also a lovely touch where all guests get a free drink in the lounge and chill, really nice atmosphere after a long day of walking.
Location was perfect - very central and just by the river which had lovely views.
Spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy so had a great night's sleep.
Luggage storage was also very handy and free to use.
Will definitely stay here again when I return to CPH :)

The location of the safe and clean hotel was perfect for visiting and walking throughout Copenhagen. The staff was friendly and the gratis happy hour was a great idea for meeting people and learning about hidden gems around the city. Love the comforters on the bed.
In an attempt to support "the green and sustainable" movements we opted to not have the room cleaned and/or towels changed out. It would have been nice to have had water and coffee replenished. However, later that night we asked at the bar for water and she sent us to our room with a freshly filled bottle of chilled water and two clean glasses.

The hotel is very comfortable, and we chose a bigger room, which was very clean. It had an excellent bed with an internal view. The hotel has a drinks hour, for which many guests come. It also has a good social area with sofas and a fireplace. There are very good restaurants in the area. It may not be very close to all the main attractions, but it is about a 10-15 minute walk.

The hotel had a really good vibe and energy to it, the deco was great and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We also loved the social hour in the bar where you get a complimentary drink each day, it is such a good idea.
The only slight inconvenience was the location of the luggage room being in the basement and the size of the lifts (being rather small) but I don’t think the hotel can do much about this as it’s an old building and they’ve set out the hotel as best they can.

Comfy beds in lovely modern rooms, good size. Breakfast was exceptional with such an incredible range of foods including traditional Danish options. All ingredients were very high quality and fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. The breakfast room staff were excellent and everything was well stocked and well organised whatever time you arrived. The hotel is in a brilliant location close to the lakes, great for getting to all parts of the city on foot and close to the metro and rail if you want to get out to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (which we did :))
Check-in staff could have been more welcoming and informative. We also felt that the room could have had better facilities for the standard and price, such as a coffee machine, more practical products for the bathroom (face cloth, sanitary towel bags, shower cap, cotton wool etc).
