Room was small and very dirty. Old furniture. No window. At reception they offered to pay extra money for the โbetterโ room but there ainโt much difference. At the bathroom there isnโt any border for the water. So when u take a shower all bathroom is drowned in water. They clean room only when u ask. After โcleaningโ I got some ants in my room. Not really what I expected. Also u can perfectly hear noise from the other rooms. If someone gets to the second floor uโll hear it as if they walk in ur room.

I wanted to order delivery food and we were sent to fast food street place.
I booked a tour to the pyramids and what I got was a dishonest taxi driver who wanted more money and who just dropped us off at the ticket office. We had to walk all over the place, therefore wasting time.
All he wanted was to drive us to his stores rather than sticking to our strict schedule. I was very disappointed because I trusted this hotel to make a nice booking for us. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting Cairo.

That seemed to be a small hotel. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. The bathroom in particular had everything working well, hot shower, the faucet and toilet without any malfunction. Hotel staff is friendly. The place is safe. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city center, near Egyptian Museum.
Breakfast was poor and terrible, I ended up skipping it the last two days of my stay. The access to the hotel is a little creepy, old elevator and floors in the building. It feels like you're walking around the Addams Family house. Cleanliness is not good enough, I found a lot of hair from other people in the room. The smell in the room was bad, possibly a mix of cigarette with mold and old stuff.

The staff were very kind and helped me set up guided tours in Cairo and elsewhere which allowed me to visit sites I would never have been able to see otherwise. The location is ideal. The Cairo Museum is a stone throw away and the nearest metro station is five minutes walking. There are plenty of little shops nearby where you can get food and other necessities. The hotel is ideal for backpackers who don't want to sleep in a noisy dorm.
The wifi isn't great but that's pretty much the same in all of Egypt in my experience.

location is great, it's so close to the Egyptian Museum. the location is quiet even though Cairo is chaotic. there is a supermarket within walking distance, and Koshary Abou Tarek is also very close. The two men that work here were really friendly and hospitable. Breakfast at the hotel is adequate, and they were happy to provide it to me earlier as well. The communication from the hotel was great. they offered to provide a driver to pick me up from the airport (at extra cost) but it's better than using the taxis at the airport.
it is quite simple accommodation but you get what you paid for. I think it's good value for a budget traveler though. The water pressure for the shower is a bit low.

First of all this hotel is on the 6th floor of its building, there is a lift but it's small so just good for 1 person and suitcases or 2 people so be prepared that you may have to conquer the stairs. Room was spacious and clean and the decor was what I expect from a budget middle eastern hotel. Excellent location, a stones throw from the Egyptian Museum (we could see it from our window) so a great price in regards to that. WiFi was good. What we enjoyed most were the staff at this hotel; polite, kind and keen to help. There were no expectations or demands for constant tips or trying to upsell us on anything unnecessarily, things we had encountered in our previous hotel and endured while out and about in Cairo. Would recommend this hotel.
Some toiletries other than a bar of soap in the room would have been nice but there are plenty of shops close by. Breakfast was very basic (though sufficient) so we chose to go elsewhere.

The staff were nice, friendly and helpful especially, the person named Tuhemi ( sorry if I say it wrong) who was polite and a real helper in terms of giving us tips and advice about roaming around and saving money at the same time. Another person was Jamal who we met on the eve of our departure/ check out. He was extremely well mannered and served us breakfast very quick and early in the morning with a smile on his face. For me the only positive thing was the reception staff who I mentioned at the beginning.
The breakfast was horrible,?? boring and cold as well. They used to serve us cold white bread with boiled eggs every single day and if we asked for omlette/ fried eggs they refused.We had to eat this tasteless boring food our entire stay. Moreover the breakfast lady seemed grumpy, lazy and used to be on her phone continuously and touching food and utensils with her dirty hands, completetly violating kitchen hygiene. She used to serve us food in a small tray as if she was serving food to prisoners inside a jail??? If we asked for milk tea or anothet cup of tea she would say they've ran out of milk but later she used to give milk tea to the other cleaner lady who used to come into the kitchen to chat with her?
Also the hotel wasnโt clean at all and they didnโt even have door mat infront of the front/door of the entrance and it was always dusty and dirty. The first two days room service wes horrible as they only did the beds and changed our towels without cleaning/washing the room and toilet. We werenโt happy and had to complain so the next day it was much better as our room/ washroom was clean, tidy and fresh.
The toilet bidet was annoying as well as scarry, when we pushed the button it would spray very fast and strongly, and the water presure was so forceful that we would wet everything including ourselves ???
The drainage system was another problem as it was so horrible - after taking shower, water used to be clogged and we had to stand on a pool of water as if, experiencing flood inside our washroom???
Later they kept a mop for us to push the water to unclog the drain after shower. This was an extra task especially when youโre in a holiday?
As our room was near the reception we had to tolerate late night/early morning chatting and noise. The other boarders were not at all polite and men used to speak very loud early in the morning and late during night.
Overall the experience was unique but certainly not a pleasant one for sure.

Seems like bedsheet was not replaced as I could see that out bedsheet was put inside out. May be it was re-used for us.

There is no hot water for showering, and the room was not cleaned before I arrived โ itโs full of dust.

I had a nice comfortable stay. Hotel is relatively clean. Itโs located on 6th floor of the building. Staff is very friendly and they know me by name during my stay which was like a personalized interaction with all of them.
Breakfast is very basic and can be improved. There is an elevator as well but I used the stairs as Iโm not used to this kind of elevator.
