They charge 26% more than what your price on booking says. I had a room for 20$ but had to pay 27$. They charged a 12% service fee (whatever that is, but you need to pay 30 pounds for a water anyway so it's not included), and 14% VAT and they hide it until you need to pay it. You can only find the real price in the pdf that you can download after you have booked! When I asked the manager why they do this he basically said "everyone does this, it's normal". Still feels extremely dishonest and wont stay here again simply for that reason.

As a diver it was very convenient being able to stay at the dive centre. Room was a good size and clean, with a fridge and a balcony with views to the sea. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food served in the restaurant was good quality. Great value for money.

The worst service in my life. Dirty towels, dead furniture, rusty plumbing. We stayed at this hotel for one night, before an early flight. When booking, we requested clarification of information on the full cost and payment options, but we did not receive a response. We were guided by the cost when booking⦠Upon leaving the hotel, we were billed a little higher than we expected. We didn't have enough small money, so I gave them a $100 bill... I was told at the reception that there was no change!!!!! They refused to accept payment by card, arguing that they work only for cash..... To my indignation that the hotel, which works only for cash, does not have change, they replied that they could not help in any way. It was not possible to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM.... We tried to solve this situation somehow, but the hotel staff did not try to help us in any way.... As a result, in a hurry to catch a plane, we gave $ 100 at the reception and left for the airport.... I consider this attitude of the staff unacceptable, and the room rate of $ 100 per night is outrageous.

I always feel very warmly welcomed by the hotel manager at Oonas Dive Club Hotel. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the rooms are always clean. The reception area has a lovely scent, thanks to the oils from the shop next door.
My partner absolutely fell in love with this hotel and is already planning to return. Itβs the perfect place to relax. While itβs a budget-friendly hotel, it has everything you need: peace, cleanliness, stunning views of the sea, and easy access to beautiful reefs for diving.

Oonas is a very cozy boutique hotel 16 rooms and 2 suits. You feel at home at all times. Ahmed at the reception was extremely helpful and available. Hegazy and Abd El Rahman at the restaurant were always friendly and polite. Beach was amazing. Restaurant offers good plates at good prices. You wonβt need to dine outside that much. The room rate is excellent with a great value for money. The place is always extremely clean and simple. You feel at home at all times.
The long trees in front of the rooms can be cut. It will give a full view of the sea for all rooms.
The loud noises at night from surrounding hotels, I truly wish there would be some sort of control.
Renovating the room furniture bit by bit would be an excellent idea, but keeping the cosy and simple feeling of the place.
Double glass for the room terrace would be a great idea as well.

From booking to the moment I left, Ahmed the manager offered exceptional customer service and attention. All the other staff at the hotel were also incredibly lovely and always so helpful and friendly. My room had a lovely balcony and I loved the simplicity of the hotel with its easy going βdiver vibeβ, and that theyβre so eco-conscious. The restaurant served simple and tasty food at very good prices. Having the use of the sun beds and private beach of the adjacent Swissotel was greatβ¦ the fish swim right up close to there shore.
Sadly for me, the constant noise from the adjacent and nearby hotels was unbearable. The music started at 10am pumping out from Swissotel beach bar and continued until at least 11pm every day - and not at modest/chilled levels, it was full on!! I know thereβs nothing that Oonas Hotel could do anything about but it did make me cut short my holiday. It was so overwhelmingly for my nervous system as Iβm someone who likes peace and quiet (I know, thatβll teach me for not checking out the area beforehand booking!). I was in room 12 (top floor above the dive centre) and this meant that although I had a sea view to my left, directly in front was a dozen air-con and ventilation units from the Swissotel food outlet that pumped out food smells late afternoon. Again, this isnβt the fault of Oonas Hotel but you all need to know. If you want a quiet holiday, Naamah Bay is not for you (or me!).

We have just got back from a fabulous week's diving holiday.
With 5 days spent on the dive boat, the hotel was perfect for our needs, the bed was comfortable, shower hot, staff attentive and friendly and a great breakfast to set us up for the day.
The dive centre is excellent. Pete was so much more than a guide and his advice and tips over the week really improved our diving - my air consumption improved by nearly 50% by the end of the week!! We also did our Enriched Air speciality course which was conducted in a very professional manner whilst still leaving us feeling like we were on holiday.
When we return to Sharm we won't think of going anywhere else. Thanks to all at Oonas Dive Club for a great holiday.

The stuff was super nice and helpful! We checked in past midnight, got a lot of directions and help whenever needed. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The room was good sized, and the bed very comfy. The location is great for divers who want to use one of the Naama bay diving clubs and have it at a walking distance from your place.
It's incredibly loud from all the resorts, as to be expected. The towels were grey (used to be white) and a little bit more cleaning in the bathrooms would be nice (some mold on the shower cabin walls etc).
The wifi was not great either.

A Memorable Stay at Oonas Dive Club β Highly Recommended!

Despite being a small hotel, Oonas Dive Club is truly one of the most charming places Iβve stayed at in Sharm El Sheikh. My review is based on a 4-night stay, and I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience.
Location:
The location is absolutely outstanding. The hotel is situated directly on Naama Bayβs beachfront β literally first row β and shares a private, clean sandy beach with the neighboring Swissotel. One of the highlights is the pedestrian promenade that runs between the hotels and the beaches. This promenade is full of shops and supermarkets and stretches along the entire bay, offering a lively yet peaceful atmosphere.
Being very close to Peace Road, the cityβs main route, the hotel gives easy access to most of Sharm El Sheikh. Transportation is convenient β youβll find both taxis and public minibuses (which are budget-friendly and reliable).
Facilities & Food:
Oonas Dive Club offers a bed-and-breakfast style of stay. While lunch and dinner aren't included, the on-site restaurant serves both at very reasonable prices. The breakfast is a simple but delicious open buffet, and the food quality is consistently good β although I would have appreciated a bit more variety from day to day.
Thereβs no swimming pool at the property, but for me, that wasnβt an issue at all β the beach and the sea were exactly what I came for.
Rooms:
This was my favorite part of the stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean and private. Bathrooms are spotless and in great condition β nothing felt old or worn out. There were absolutely no issues with insects or bed bugs, which speaks volumes about the hygiene standards.
The room's balcony offers a breathtaking view of the sea, palm trees, and the mountains of the Sinai Peninsula β all at once. Natural sunlight floods the room during the day, which I absolutely loved as someone who enjoys being close to nature.
Only a couple of small things to note β the breakfast could use a little more daily variety, and while thereβs no King Bed option, the hotel joins two single beds together quite seamlessly, and you wonβt feel the difference at all.

We stayed in this hotel only for a day, we arrived there after a long drive and hiking at Jabal Mussa to enjoy the beach at Sharm El-Sheik. Initially our driver had to pass through a security guard who wouldn't let our driver pass without a tip and that was kind of annoying. We were disappointed with that, however once we get to the desk all that changed. The Manager at the desk at the time was Ahmed and he was very professional, full of smile and treated us well. A very polite guy. That positive personality was what we needed after a long day. We enjoyed staying one night and next day we checked out around mid-day but left our stuff with reception enjoying our time at the beach until 3 PM. The location fantastic as it is steps away from red sea beach, and right by the beach walkway where you can find a bunch of restaurants & shopping area.
One thing is the plugs on the wall do not have a USB charger for your phone, so you need to have appropriate plugs with you to charge your phone

The location is great! So close to the beach through the next-door hotel access, and has beautiful views of Naama Bay. Breakfast is great!! The staff are super helpful. The restaurant next door is convenient, dependable and well-priced. You can walk to the street market from the dive centre, it is about a 20-minute walk, and it's worth it!
The linen was clean, but the towels were quite discoloured - they were also clean, but did not create a good impression. We found the beds to be a bit past their best-before date; they slump in the middle, so they are not particularly comfortable. Keep in mind that Naama Bay has various resorts along the beach, and the restaurants are competing with the loudness of their music. This is not a problem if you want to go to sleep late and join in on the party vibe, but the sound is audible through the windows. When booking the stay, the rate on bookings.com mentioned 'additional charges may apply', but when checking in, these additional charges added an extra 27% to the rate, still good value in my opinion, but we only saw that the day of checking in...

The hotel uses the Swisshotel beach which is quite good. All rooms have a nice sea view and balconies.
The shower stall was broken, so the floor was wet. The regular room is really small especially for a family. On the first night there were a lot of mosquitoes, so we had to keep all the windows closed during the night.
