Fantastic views and sunsets over the Baltic, sea-view room was well worth the extra investment!

We were very lucky with the room we got - it had a fabulous view directly to the sea.
Also, the room was large and very comfortable, probably recently renovated; it exceeded our expectations.
The location of the hotel is fabulous, in the beautiful nature. It is very quiet and relaxing to be there, and one can also take wonderful walks around.
The corridors leading towards the room are desperately in need of renovation and they have a foul smell.
Also, the pool and sauna area is in need of renovation.

We chose this hotel because there was a heat streak going on and the Hilton website said the hotel had AC. After check in I discovered there was in fact no AC in the whole building.. Breakfast was super amazing, very good options and and a wide variety of decent choices. All of which is based on the healthy life aspect which is a class. Taste was amazing, compliment to the chefs. Waitresses were amazing, a standout is Zanna, she was a class in every way. A heart of gold, she was patient, attentive, and made families with kids felt calm. In my eyes, she went above and beyond for everyone - superwoman!!!
The breakfast floor was tidy and clean at all times and table were turnover swiftly causing less delays. Bravo to the staff.
The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and seaside wing was fantastic. Bedding was well cleaned and maintained. Towels were neat and tidy and very well arranged. Room temperature was also great and worth mentioning and the level of security with controlled doors and gate is part of the reason why we will return again.
Well, sadly there are quite a few things I think Hilton can do better to make the hotel a 4/5 stars.
It is unfathomable in this day and age a hotel like Hilton could not offer USB charging facilities in the room. There were a lot of sockets well placed. However, no single USB facilities anywhere in the room and that is very poor. An upgrade is long over due and this should be a priority to soft out real fast.
Secondly, while the tv was a good size and could change language, unfortunately subtitles were not in English which made it impossible to understand or enjoy some of the local programmes. Though BBC News was offered, I believe not also having a smart tv for guest to even enjoy ondemand programmes or connect their own devices to the tv was also on a poor side. The whole stay and experience should be customer focus. And these are basic stuff.
Thirdly, there were some leaks in the bathroom. It is a shame because the bath really did look excellent and decent size. However, the main bath leaked from the bottom. There is a leak mark if they want to trace it...if j could find it I am sure an expect will have no issue locating.

View from the seaside room was wonderful. Everything was clean and functional, and the restaurant exceeded expectations. The sauna was luxurious and private, and my son loved the pool. Several great playgrounds within easy walking distance, and the cafe just a few minutes' walk away from the hotel was absolutely perfect for breakfast with lots of options for everyone. The walking path by the water makes it easy to go for a quick walk or jog.
Only wish the sauna hours were extended on Sunday! Decor in the rooms is a little dated but totally fine. Really didn't have any issues to speak of.

There was a bad smell in bathroom. Each time I washed my hand in the bathroom or used the shower, I saw foams coming out of waste-hole beside the toilet. It impacted my opinion about the room hygiene.
In some hotels, usually you receive 1 or 2 bottles of water free of charge, but the cost was 6 Euro for each 0.5L water bottle, which was in deed expensive. I used 2 bottles of water upon my arrival because it was midnight and I was too thirsty, but I paid 12 Euro for it.
I think better hotels could be found with this price.

Location was very private, not close to the center. But we picked it because of its distance to the Seurasaari island. We were attending the midsummer eve festival in the island so we would like an accommodation nearby.
Old furniture, chairs have visible old stains. The toilet smells a bit pungent. Like old urine that was not sanitized well. Though no visible dirt. Lacked deep cleaning. There were rust on sides of doors esp in the toilet. When you shower, the water leaks out of the shower cubicle so the toilet floor gets really wet. The lady receptionist that we encountered did not even orient us about the hotel, did not give us information on the available amenities, she just checked us in. It would be nice for them to give us an overview of the hotel and what we can do during our stay. Even it has already been posted in the site, but of course we have forgotten about the details.

The restroom in the sauna was small and hard to find.
I think it would be nice if breakfast could be served either at the restaurant with an ocean view or at the one in the conference building.

Rude staff, room walls were like paper, misleading pet price information (they didn't tell us upfront, just deducted the amount from our card later on even though there should have been compilmentary pet supplies when bringing a pet to your room but we received none). Chaotic breakfast experience, rude waitresses that forgot our requests and we could see that other people also didn't receive the tables they were given. Food included watery frozen foods.

breakfast - excellent selection of food, including traditional Finnish dishes, food very tasty, polite and friendly waiters
location - convenient, great place to stay to visit Helsinki (it is not that far from the downtown, and you stay in place close to nature, by the water, with direct access to parks and to walking and biking trails), Seurasaari island with the Open-Air Museum is a walking distance from the hotel. You can easily get by bus from this hotel to the Haaga Rhododendron Park, a great place to visit if you are in Helsinki in late May or early June.
room - toilet shower (handheld bidet) not working at all; water heavily leaking from under the bathtub
