The Lodge Apartment can only accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years old, or 12 years old maximum only if they are small.
Adults will sleep in the large bed in the lower part of the apartment.
Children will sleep in the small mezzanine located on the upper floor of the apartment.
The height of the mezzanine ceiling is very low, and designed to accommodate children but not adults.
The mezzanine has a 140 bed.
Access via a mini staircase is secure but does not have a door.

The location of the apartment really is perfect if you want to be in old Annecy. We loved the cafe just below the entrance door with Ollie and his wife and just outside the window on the other side is a Pizzeria (which could also be a negative because it was loud until about 11pm). The wifi, tv, bed, pillows and all were great.
The only thing a bit odd or uncomfortable is the tub, but it is just like in the pictures!

The location of the property is great, very central. It does get noisy at night so we had to keep the windows closed, so it can get very hot as there is no air conditioning.
The listing on booking.com shows a balcony, but this apartment does NOT come with a balcony. Only the 2 bed apartment has a balcony. This was very disappointing and should be made clearer on the listing. The apartment is very dark and small.

The location is spectacular and the apartment is beautifully decorated. The mattress was also very comfortable ! From other travelers’ comments I had understood there to be a balcony, but there is no outside area. the little table and chairs is outside the window.
Although the person managing the property kindly allowed us to check in early, visitors should be aware that the property has an unusually late check in time - 4pm.

Beautiful location in the heart of the old town! We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the apartment and all it had to offer - small fridge, extra loft (so we could have brought children), rustic, adorable bathroom & shower, couple places to sit and eat, looking out over the quaintest part of town! Noise levels from the restaurant below were not a problem because it was chilly enough that we had the windows closed, but noise could be an issue if people tried to sleep with the windows open.
Parking was not easy. We arrived on a Saturday evening, so a very busy time in general, but we had a hard time navigating the city's parking - which isn't the hosts' fault, but it definitely impacted our stay. Also, we had wifi that was temperamental - also not our hosts' fault, but they had said they would send us the codes 24 hrs before and they hadn't, so as we were nearing the building we had to stop at a cafe to get wifi to see if they had finally sent us the codes. They had, and we got in just fine, but the fact that they were late in sending them did add to our stress level.
Lastly, the bed is high and has a hard exterior - this makes it challenging to get on the bed without bruising your legs. It's super cute, but not the most comfortable.

The location was good, everything else was terrible
We feel that we have been totally mislead with this property, we paid a premium price for the one night, and did not get what we paid for.
The host did not return my wife's call regarding the wi-fi not working, so we had not internet for our stay.
Our issues:
- Property was not what we expected as it was barricaded with temporary fencing due to the building being renovated, we didn't even think we could get into the place as it was a construction zone, it even had a crane set up near the front door!!
- Wi fi did not work. Host was notified but problem was not rectified.
- Our view from our balcony was obstructed by scaffolding
- We didn't receive entry instructions via email, it was only when I downloaded the booking.com app did I find the information.
- There was an industrial power board in the entry hallway and a power cord running from the front door to the 1st floor near our entry
- We called you 4 times between 4:39 and 5:08 with no answer, on the 5th time at 5:21 you answered and we advised the host of our issues with the property. She phoned us back advising us there were no alternatives.
- Front door to the apartment looks like its been broken into, door handle is loose and feels like it's going to fall out of the door.
- Kitchen tap (flick mixer) is badly installed, moves around and looks as though itss been added as an after thought
- Skirting boards falling off wall
- Flooring "gappy" and looks like its been done quickly and cheaply.
- Curtains have holes in them, they are block out curtains but they let beams of light in through the holes.

The city center, close to all the sights, is quite spacious. Beautiful view of the river. Quiet neighbors, blackout curtains. There were all the necessary utensils. In addition, I love self-check-in.
The entrance is very dark, with the smell of a basement. A very strange layout of the apartment: the second bedroom is under the ceiling, a meter high at most. Shower without a door, behind a screen. Pretty old renovation. A very strange bed, which you need to climb up the stairs. There is a restaurant right under the window and it is quite noisy at night. And I was surprised that the owners did not even answer "hello" to any of my messages in WhatsApp.

The location is amazing. Right on the waterfront.
The apartment looked very worn down and was dirty. There was dust everywhere. The floors felt grimy. We felt dirty being there. Our kids slept in a loft and there was no fan and it was extremely hot. They couldn't sleep because it was too hot in the loft. Not worth the money. Also, the filter on booking says that it has parking, but that is not true. There is no parking spot associated with the apartment. Public parking, however, is easy to get to.

The location is stunning with easy access to attractions. Check-in was smooth, the owner was friendly and responsive.
Upon arrival, it was evident that the apartment had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. Visible dirt, dust, and grime were present on surfaces, furniture, and flooring, suggesting a lack of attention to detail by the housekeeping staff.

What wasn't apparent on the site itself or on booking: the apartment didn't have two normal beds, but a normal bed and a loft bed that was poorly ventilated: it had neither a window nor a fan for ventilation. In the middle of summer it was impossible to spend the night there.
The room was also quite small, the bathroom doesn't have a proper door, there were cobwebs hanging from the wall and one of the windows couldn't be opened. The landlady offered to book us an additional apartment so that the two adults could each sleep in adequate beds. However, we should have still paid for it. We didn't stay and still had to pay the full fee. Absolutely not recommended.

The apartment was lovely, and in an ideal location to see the scenery and life in the old part of the gorgeous city. A nice balcony with outdoor seating overlooking the canal, which was a unique and lovely feature. The apartment is very well appointed, and easy to find and access. Only a short 7 or 8 minute walk from the train station, so it is very convenient.
It was very hot, and although the windows opened, it was very loud outside on the street until quite late. This is to be expected on a Friday night in a lovely city. But a fan that could move the air around the room, and muffle the noise a bit, would be a nice addition.

This apartment is in a fabulous location in the old town of Annecy. The view from the balcony is superb. Room is very modern and clean. We were only their for one night but would definitely stay there again.
Air con would be a bonus as it was extremely hot in the room!

It was so dirty. The bath (the only way to clean ourselves) was full of soap scum and someone’s shaved hairs (ew). We were told we couldn’t check in a moment before 4pm due to cleaning. This only got cleaned the next day (!!) when I escalated it to booking.com, the owner ignored me. The floor was also filthy it was cleaner to walk on the terrace without getting a foot full of dirt. Someone’s contact lens on the bathroom floor. A hair ball. Etc. Be aware of the very late check in - we had to pay to store our bags and a lot were at capacity so it took ages. The door also wouldn’t lock/unlock the first day. Until the owner put some kind of soap inside. The handle was hanging off. Tiny fan for an open plan room did nothing.

The apartment is horror the bathroom is just name you can’t either take a shower there is no door and i don’t know how they made the design, it is awkward. Also the entrance is horrible and very scary dark old , you need to have a flash light to see when you go through. Also the apartment is very hot and if u open windows you can’t sleep because of the noise. And the value of money super a lot for this apartment it just worth 80$ per night

Did not take the breakfast. Liked the view from the window and the neighborhood. Enjoyed the sights and walks around Annecy. Did a boat cruise on the lake.
We did not go with children, but the children's loft/bed is reached by narrow stairs with only cloth webbing for a side "rail." Quite dangerous. There were no instructions for the shower use, and the apartment is dark and poorly lighted.

The history of the building was so cool. The space was large and comfortable for our stay. We wish we had been here for longer! The small kitchen was wonderful and the bathtub was large and very comfortable. The decor was perfect and the balcony was amazing!
No shower although you can make it work with the tub & handheld spray handle. No A/C, but there was a fan that kept it cool for sleep.
