The hotel staff are wonderful and very helpful. Everything is within walking distance, but a cab ride to/from the train station is almost essential, if you have luggage. I would stay here again.

The location was great, away from the crowds but within walking distance of everything you'll want to see. The building itself is architecturally and historically interesting. I enjoyed that very much.
An unscrupulous taxi driver with a serious anger problem that the hotel called for me tried to play me for 4x a normal fare. It could have easily been resolved if each party (driver, hotel, me) pitched in 10 Euros, but they thought I should pay it all.

This is a unique hotel with a reach history, situated right in the heart of the city. The amenities are great, very nice buffet breakfast, amazing staff. The room was spacious, even with a full sized bathtub. Restored classical furniture, great design, very impressive common areas and a lovely backyard with a pool. Highly recommend!

This is a family-owned hotel for nearly 100 years. It’s not the most modern- but it’s lovely, the staff is exceptionally helpful, they offer onsite parking which is unheard of, and the location in Arles literally cannot be beat! Wish the pool/terrace had been open but will have to come back in season!

Amazing hotel in a great location in Arles, within walking distance of everything. It is clearly a very traditional hotel, with antique elements that create a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was the best I had in my recent trip to the South of France. Staff were really nice, efficient and respectful. Swimming pool area was great. Airco is not central, so you decide how strong you want it to be whenever you want! Overall im very happy with the stay! On top of that, prices were great and they even gave us a free room upgrade and earlier check in. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location in Arles and easy to park the motorcycle. A proper French town hotel on a lovely little square. Great pool area and so nice to be in the centre of all the atmosphere. I didn’t take breakfast here side I had to leave early but it’s great value at only 7 euro by the pool so I should have got up earlier!

I don‘t know where to start. The location is perfect - right on Place du Forum, yet really quiet. The inner yard with the pool is an idyllic place in its own. Having breakfast here is easily the best way to start your day. But I think the best thing about the hotel is the staff - from the receptionists to the breakfast staff and the garage staff. Each and everyone is really helpful and always friendly. They make you feel absolutely welcome.
I can‘t think of any negative sides.

Nothing to do with hotel but do not expect to find a taxi waiting for you at the train station. We also phoned 3 or 4 numbers advertised at the station but all went to voicemail or were not interested in coming to airport.We eventually got a bus into town and had to walk a good distance with all our luggage to get to the hotel. The city is a maze of small streets .

LOVED the location, very central square with lots of restaurants right outside the front door and opposite Van Gogh Cafe. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE POOL AREA, best breakfast experience ever as it was served by the pool which is protected by beautiful ancient high stone walls. Most staff were very nice, especially Sylvie serving breakfast.
Disappointingly basic room, a bit tired. We found bed bugs.
Finding the hotel (we were driving) was nothing short of an ordeal - it took us well about 90 minutes once we arrived in Arles to find the only street that allowed us to drive into the square. (Google maps takes you to the wrong location.) As it was midnight there was no-one around to ask. The night service guy was as helpful as he could be but as we had to keep ringing him and telling him what we could see. Written instructions for drivers should be provided in advance.
Would have liked the pool bar to be open at lunchtime at least for cool drinks and snacks.

This is a superb hotel, right in the centre of Arles on the wonderful Pl du Forum. I stayed in the older part of the building, seventeenth century I believe, in a very large room with a good modern bathroom. The facilities are superb, with a hotel pool and an outdoor cocktail bar.
If you're looking for a modern Ibis style hotel this is probably not for you, but if, like me, you prefer places with character, charm and history, Ican't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The breakfast buffet was very good, certainly more than adequate and fairly priced. The bed was very comfortable, and we are picky about that! This was a great place for our two-night stay in Arles.
The deep-tub/shower can be a real challenge for older people, and this might be a concern for some. We are 75 and reasonably agile, but we would certainly be mindful of this arrangement in the future.

Superb location. Safe bike storage. Large, very comfortable room. Bar available although we didn’t use it. Very helpful front desk team.
We were charged in the morning for the water in the room. Small thing.

Beautiful charming old hotel with great location. Wonderful swimming pool with bar.
Loved all of it. But room numbers are difficult to find. I was escorted to my room. I would never had been able to figure out where room was on my own.
