An Oasis at the end of a very hot day on the Via Rhona bike path. Immaculate room with A/C, and a very comfortable shower and bed. A swimming pool that was not over-crowded and very welcome. Staff was especially welcoming and cooperative.

The location was good, the whole ground floor was beautiful but it gave expectations that the rest of the hotel would be the same. Parking was very good and easy to find
The room in the duplex was very disappointing, very bad layout, broken door handle to balcony and very shabby furniture and decor, it felt like a 1980s office. Food in the restaurant was appalling, pre made microwaved dishes. However the worst thing was that on our first night we got no sleep because there was a terrible noise and vibration every 5 mins , like pipes vibrating. We do appreciate that we were able to change rooms the next day, but this was the minimum that could be expected. There was one small lift for the whole of the hotel and often only one person on reception. When checking out they tried to charge me for a drinks bill that was not mine and the male staff member could have been more helpful. It was a terrible hotel experience.

The carpet in the room was dirty. The bathroom rather small. Room was very dark, poor lightning. Not very cosy.

The location was perfect - not far from the train & bus links but within the city walls in a quiet peaceful back street. Close to great restaurants and all the historic city attractions. Our room was in the ‘modern’ section but this did not detract from the stay at all as we had a wonderful terrace looking out over the beautiful gardens and historic courtyard. The rooftop pool was so refreshing and the rooftop lounging terrace was a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day. The room was very spacious with large comfortable bed, lounging area as well as an outside terrace, perfect for a an early morning coffee. Also a very large separate wardrobe and luggage store area. Friendly helpful reception staff, great to have 24 hour reception as we had to leave very early fir our homeward train.

Location. The evening meal we had in the hotel restaurant was fabulous, the waitress was lovely, had a witty sense of humour, knew the menu, knew her product and was an asset to the team.
Shower was inadequate - flooded the bathroom in view of the fact that the glass shower screen was too short. No extras ie: tea bags, milk, or even a spoon. The room just wasn't what we would have expected for a 4 star hotel.

I have no negatives about the property. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy all the services available. We will be back!

We definitely liked the idea of staying in a histotical building with Avignon walls.
Unfortunately, it is very far from international standards. Staff are alright but they should wear uniforms..
No lift to bring up our suitcases and extra stairs to access the room.
Bedroom is from another century. Beds are not comfortable and the sofa is very old.
Bathroom looks like those you picture in a boarding school with kitchen sink.
In November it remains very cold.

Buildings were lovely, car park was expensive and a bit basic the surface not great, although it is secure parking, don’t make the mistake of driving to the front of the hotel if you’re driving a low car, there’s a ramp that you wont get up to drive away from the hotel

The Cloître Saint Louis is very well located (despite the entrance being on a back street that looks a bit dodgy). Beautifully designed room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. The hairdryer was slightly dysfunctional but that's a minor issue for me. I would definitely go back.

An absolutely stunning building, a true sanctuary in the middle of town, and the rooms are large with extra high ceilings. The Bed is large and very comfortable, and no noise at night despite being in the centre of town. The staff are very helpful and polite.
All the furniture is cheap and basic, and the breakfast still uses powdered eggs. I suggest having breakfast somewhere else as there are countless superb eating options in town.

This Hôtel has an excellent location in the heart of Avignon old city..walking distance to all main attractions, bars and restaurants.
The old original building is beautiful..
However our room was situated in the new block, this has a very austere atmosphere with metal framed open stairways leading to the rooms. (Felt like a prison)
Our room was very tired, not very welcoming. We had a view onto a brick wall.
The hot water temperature, was low and too cool for a bath..We were told it was too early to have air conditioning turned on, and to open the window… This would have been fine if there hadn’t been so many mosquitoes!!
Breakfast was not worth the 18€ cost …a very limited buffet and self service coffee machine

Fantastically placed for everything to visit in Avignon - all within easy waking. Parking secure. However the restaurant was very disappointing - food tasty but tiny, tiny portions. Also we went to breakfast on the second morning and couldn’t get a table in the breakfast room as it was too busy with very loud guests (possibly a coach party or conference guests, as they all seemed to know each other). With us other guests having to queue up outside waiting for a table. It was 8am and as we were travelling onwards that morning we couldn’t wait.

The rooms of the new part are dark and have very low ceilings, a bit like a jail cell, just longer. Not our taste at all. We asked for an upgrade in the old building. It should be made clear on their website in booking.com that there area two kinds of buildings.
The door of the shower was hard to open and close and made an awfull noise when doing so. Here and there in the hotel spots which need maintenance, specially at the pool. The room seems to have an undisclosed heating because it was too warm and we had to sleep with open window by 11 degrees outside. The water for the bathtub was twice not warm enough. The plastic chairs in the restaurant make a lot of noise on the stone floor. I would use wooden chairs with felt caps on the feet. The breakfast is not quite 4 stars.

the room was a bit small and the AC was not super efficient but the hotel itself is magnificent and we would have no hesitation staying here again.

The location is perfect. Steps from the railway station and at the entrance of the historical center. The breakfast is not on the four-star-hotel level but decent. Good air conditioning and wifi.
The main disappointment was the look of the room. The building, the courtyard, and the restaurant are beautiful, however the rooms look like student dorms, the furniture is old, and generally you get the feeling of shabby but not chic. The bathroom seems to have all necessities, yet the shower did not work well and the bath was clogged.

Location as great, spacious rooms.
Had to carry our bags in stairs, to get to the bathroom we had to go down stairs. Bathroom was very small and couldn’t stand in shower due to ceiling height. Internet didn’t work in her unit.

This was our second time at this hotel and it again met all expectations. There is ample on site parking, the setting of the old abbey/convent is beautiful but then you have the roof top terrace with the pool and the modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern and the balconies are great. the location is excellent for the city centre.
We liked everything and will definitely return.

Location is great as it's very close to the main street. Very large parking so no problem any time. We were upgraded upon arrival to a huge room with 2 floors. It's excellent for romantic stays. Staff is responsive and pro-active. Hotel is indeed a converted cloister which gives him atmosphere.

The beautiful building, especially the courtyard
The breakfast arrangements were chaotic. Only 2 staff members, so crockery etc always running out, air of panic on their part was palpable.

Location - two minutes from the Central train station and the hotel leads you down the main street to the square. Restaurants/stores all close by. The courtyard was beautiful, lovely quaint building. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room we had was spacious but a little tired, could use a makeover to freshen it up.

Nothing. The property is overrated. It is a two star hotel at most. Do not stay at this hotel. Staff was not friendly. Room is unacceptable for a 4 star rating.
