We had an absolutely fabulous 2 night stay in this gorgeous little hotel. Our room was spacious, modern and well-equipped. It was the best shower we’ve had in our 5 weeks of travel and the bed was very comfy too.
The hotel is close to the centre of Biarritz, making it very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants and all the beautiful beaches.
The thing that really stood out about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. They gave us maps and tips on where to go and provided a delicious breakfast each morning.
I’d highly recommend Hotel Barnea.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

The small team clearly love what they do and really know how to make you feel at home from the minute you arrive, with really thoughtful little gestures over and above any standard best practice. Traditional hotel with modern, stylish and really exceptionally clean rooms, great location and fab value. We loved this small hotel. Bed was super comfortable, breakfast was great and it was in excellent walking distance to the main beaches and visiting places. Also the staff was super helpful and kind, and the room was quiet and has that personal touch (decoration, everything was well-planned to make for a comfortable stay) that you don`t find in big hotels. Really appreciated.
The only thing I would add is an elevator and make beach towels available for guests- but it was not really an issue, we managed
