On the back way from Mont St.Michel with last minutes we had chosen this place for a last night in Normandy. Came to the hotel very late, around midnight, and was worrying that can have some issues at that you.e with accommodation. But was everything perfect, reception working 24, at your disposal even any drinks of some snacks anytime.
Room was cozy, clean and comfy, there is a kettle and tea/coffee stuff if needs without going to reception.
Located in center of the city from where within 35 mts you can reach by transport the sea cost or some sights.
Very satisfied and advise.

Friendly welcome on reception desk & on departure. Very helpful with breakfast information. Best budget hotel we’ve stayed in France by far. Comfy beds in family room small double single and queen size bed could sleep 5 easily.
Nice modern decorated room for the price we paid, comfy beds, modern lighting nice modern bathroom, very clean really nice new/clean carpet everywhere, no stale smoke/bad smells anywhere which is unusual in a budget hotel. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t review but we would stay here again and hopefully have more time to try the food.
No sofas or lounge area to sit in before going to room and bar was part of reception so didn’t feel we could sit and relax with a drink.
No blinds at the 2 small windows to keep light out if you had small children but we arrived in the evening & were up early so didn’t affect us. Doors & hallway walls were bit battered but the amount of cases.

This "business stop" off hotel is ideal for a night when all is required is an inexpensive B&B. The breakfast is easy and good, the room clean but very very very small.
The room size is very "compact" for two people.
The location - as you should know when you book - is not in the city but on a city ringroad roundabout - so you need a car.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Caen Memorial Museum which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
The evening meal was very good value for money, the room was clean and comfortable and the self service breakfast was well stocked with a generous variety of choice.
I was driving south after breakfast and the location north west of Caen on the ring road meant that I was quickly clear of the city

The on site restaurant was closed all 3 nights we were there, which was inconvenient, being located out in commercial area. There was La Boucherie restaurant (chain restaurant) 5 minutes walk away, which gave a good selection and reasonable quality, but on one rainy night it would've been useful to have the on slte one available.

While property is advertised as having a restaurant this does not operate at the weekends. This is misleading. The entry to the hotel has a big Restaurant sign!
The bathroom is very small as is the room in general. The hotel needs a bit of redecoration in the corridors.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the Restaurant was really good, and the room was comfortable and clean.
Some of the public areas - halls and stairways - looked a bit in need of sprucing up. There wasn't a lift in the Hotel. There was no cup or mug in the room for hot drinks, there was just a couple of rather small glasses which made drinking a hot drink a bit of a challenge.

We have stayed here several times before. We have not been unhappy once. This time, what was particularly impressive was that there were two coachloads of French teenagers and their teachers staying that night. Breakfast could have been a problem, but the staff coped amazingly well. The buffet, which is always well stocked with a good variety, was constantly being refilled. When the students left the dining room, the buffet was completely refreshed, and every table and chair had been wiped.
