Simple but complete room, good bed, a shower that's better than my own, very clean, very pleasant personnel, simple but complete enough breakfast. Simple but good restaurant. Not pretentious but everything you need, my favourite kind of hotel.
The only thing missing was a simple tray for a soap bar in the shower, there was a larger holder suitable for shampoo bottles but not so practical for me.

The room was very small.The shower was small 500mm from taps to door .A lot of people would not fit in and be able to turn around.The distance between the bed and the wardrobe was only 250mm.The cooling fan provided was at the end of its useful life and noisy.When you open the windows to try and cool the room down you have to put up with noise of the street below.The hotel provides two cardboard drinking cups and we damaged one of these on the first night and they were too miserable to replace it. Looked at the tea cups provided and they were cracked. We absolutely refuse to drink out of cracked cups.

The location seemed ok. I didn't walk around the area as arrived late in the evening due to the ferry being an hour late.
The hotel was ok. I wouldn't say it was exceptional. The bed had a very big dip in the middle which made it uncomfortable and the bathroom was very small. A larger person may have difficulty with closing the door once in the bathroom. Tea making facilities consisted of 2 cups, 1 tea bag, no milk and a small pack of 2 cubes of sugar. Not the greatest of hotels and also charged an extra €10 to park in their car park. We parked on the road outside the hotel for free and totally legal to do so.

The room was so small for a family room we literally had a walk way to the bathroom and window. Couldnt get to the wardrobe as bed there and same for the coffee pot. No aircon. Would not stay there
