Perfect location, right at the entrance of one of the markets, a 15-minute walk from the train station, with a well-marked path. The hotel is spectacular, preserving traditional architecture and decor while modernizing to ensure comfort. It was the perfect spot to end the trip! Super comfortable and very central to the markets, allowing us to combine comfort with not missing a thing. At times, the hotel entrance, due to its incredible Christmas decorations, becomes a tourist attraction, making the guest feel like a VIP upon entering, with so many cameras pointed at the entrance.

WOW! First time in Colmar and randomly picked this hotel! I loved it so much I stayed another night! I was not in the main building but next door. Had the best sleep. So quiet, bed was so cozy, room was warm. I LOVED the breakfast wow! I treated myself to a multi course dinner and tried about three new dishes which I loved! Staff was lovely! 10/10 loved it!
The actual room could use some TLC. Needs some updating. Walls cleaned under the heating/ac units. Maybe put a picture where the nail is in the wall. The vent in the bathroom needs a major cleaning! Carpet needs cleaned!

The hotel is very beautiful and cozy, in the best location, right next to la Petite Venise.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
We traveled with a dog (simil labrador) and upon our arrival in the room, saw that the staff had already put out a food bowl and a drinking bowl. Very much appreciated.
Our car did not fit in the hotel garage, but ahead of our arrival, they had sent us clear indications on where to park instead.

It’s an old and very charming hotel , very close to the historical center. It has a wonderful restaurant and a bar . The staff were very nice and they take care of us and our pet very well. We had a pleasant time . Our room was very spacious and clean. Also the shower cabin was big and comfortable.
Nothing to complain about , we like everything and will be glad to comeback .

In the heart of the xmas markets in Colmar, you literally open the courtyard gates and its in front of you, it was a great location. The room overlooks the canal and you could see people having the boat rides which was super cute. Parking is a disaster at xmas, good luck!!

I was disappointed with the room layout, too narrow and the floor was super crooked. It did not feel like it was a deluxe room which is what the room was categorized and charged for. Plus the bathroom door did not shut because of the crooked flooring.

A bit too kitsch with a lot of knick knacks. Also, upon our arrival on Friday evening the receptionist, who was otherwise kind and professional, appeared to want to push for us having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and asked us where we were planning to have dinner - which I found intrusive.

When we walked through the doors of the hotel we immediately felt at home. After a long drive from Paris, it was great to be greeted by friendly staff and shown to our immaculate and well-apportioned rooms. We were upgraded to a larger suite (the Wagner Room) and our daughter stayed close by in her own room, both with excellent views of the "Little Venice " canal. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and we loved waking up in the morning to birdsong and the stillness and excitement of an Alsatian village starting to come to life. The breakfast was fantastic and had a great mix of hot and cold, sweet and savory, and juices and bubbly to start the day. The staff was all first rate and our server at breakfast was so full of joy and happiness, she couldn't help but make you smile. A great start to great days in the Alsace.
Even though we were in a charming larger room with an obviously upgraded bathroom, we only had a jacuzzi tub with a shower head, but no separate shower. This was fine and we made it work. In many ways, it forced us to slow down and actually enjoy a bath for once and not simply rush to start our day with a quick shower. So is this a positive or a negative? Not quite sure... ;-)

Wall to Wall carpets in all over the building were so dirty. The coffee machine was placed in such a way, it was not accessible. Even if you accessed, there was no way to fill the water in it. There was a fancy bottle of water on the table which costs 25 eur.

A very pleasant hotel situated in an older building which has all the charm and limitations that accompany the age of the structure. Our room was on the first (not ground) floor overlooking the canal. The area around the bed was a bit tight, but we also had a lovely little sitting area and and abundance of storage space. The bathroom had a large hydro jet bathtub, with the usual European style hand shower attached. The room came with a coffee pot and a hot water kettle as well as a mini bar/fridge. We also had a great split air conditioner which was very good a maintaining a consistent temperature.
You really can’t beat the location of the hotel. It is on the correct side of the canal, right in a very picturesque neighborhood. It is a short walk to most of the museums and sites that visitors who travel to Colmar want to see. There are many very good restaurants in the area and lots of places to spend your money.
We had one dinner at the hotel, (reservations strongly recommended) it was nice. We could have had more but the kitchen was closed on two of the nights of our stay.
The included breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Service however was excellent.
An added plus was the public parking lot (limited number of spaces) directly across the street from the hotel. This requires that you have an app on your phone (Pay by Phone) with which to make payment. Easy peasy.
This was a very nice place to stay and I would be happy to return if the opportunity arises.
No complaints. Just remember it’s an old structure and has its resulting limitations (no elevator, narrow hallways etc) but overall it’s an excellent place to stay.

The hotel was what we expected. It was in a great location. Room was a decent size and the bathroom was functional. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant staff were slow (long to take a drink order for example). We sat there forever and then when it was time to order the waiter did not explain the menu (most places were great about this), which was a little confusing for our group and he also appeared very non- attentive. The food was decent, but it was the only meal on our trip that we were disappointed with.

Authentic old charm. The staff is attentive and available. And the restaurant is comfortable and elegant at the same time, serving fine classic French cuisine without the Michelin star prices.
There is no way to iron your clothes and the hotel's service is very pricey. We resorted to a laundry service but it's a long walk or an Uber, and still not a great value.

Slight misunderstanding about us booking a room with breakfast but the staff at the reception said it was included (saying it was already paid for, and assuring us twice) so we went ahead and had breakfast only to be charged extra after. The second staff took care of it and was very polite and professional about it, it was just a slight confusion.

initial room was terrible. In the attic area requiring too many steps/staircases to reach and the room had inward sloping walls really limiting your area. On top of that the view was of the parking lot. They were able to switch us to a much better room the next day, thankfully.

Nice and clean place with friendly, helpful staff. Very cozy and perfectly in harmony with the overall style of the city. Located right in the center but on a quiet street, it’s the perfect location.
Parking worked out in the end, but the process could be made even smoother with clearer instructions on how to access the area and open the boxes. Having that guidance upfront would save guests from needing to go back and forth, especially on hot days.
The safe in the room was also a bit tricky at first. A short set of written instructions with pictures would be a wonderful addition and make it much easier for anyone not familiar with this system. With a few small adjustments like these, the overall experience would be even more seamless.

we had a two level room in the annex which was great. allowed my daughter to work in the living room and we had two twins in the bedroom. there were also two sofa beds which we did not use. fridge microwave and nespresso machine. toilet on main level and full large bathroom upstairs with the bedroom. excellent location in the heart of old town. easy to walk to the train station too. very charming hotel. they let us check in early and carried our large luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. everything was perfect.
we did have dinner at the hotel and we thought it was un interesting. nice presentation.

We just had some black mold in our shower that I told the front desk about on departure. We did not view it as a housekeeping issue because the rest of our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, it’s more of a maintenance issue and that room is small and needs more airing and the installation of a fan to dry the room out after showers.

We had a quaint room on the canal with 2 windows opening to paradise! The staff went beyond to assist us in everything we asked! Julie outside at the Bar and Laon and staff at reception were tremendous. The breakfast was delicious with fresh grave-lox every morning. The room was very pleasant and charming, overlooking the river. Availability of breakfast at the hotel was a plus. Location couldn't have been better, as it was right in Petite Venise, with restaurants nearby, with the free shuttle bus stopping at the end of the block, and with many of the city's other sites and charming areas within a moderate walking distance.
I have nothing negative to say. It was not inexpensive, but we wouldn't have expected it to be cheaper, given the location and the character of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, very elegant, opposite Christmas market if you come at that time. We came week earlier for one night but, still the facade of the hotel was top-notch decorated for Christmas. We didn't eat breakfast so cannot comment on that. We were upgraded to a room facing the "river" little Venice which was nice.
No shower, just bath with a shower handle, so I had to hold the shower handle while having a shower.

Very comfortable and well set up rooms. Staff were great and pleasantly assisted us during our stay. This is a perfect Colmar stay anytime of the year, but an exceptional choice during the Christmas markets. The hotel is easily the most decorated building in the town and one of the Christmas markets is literally right outside the hotel doors. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast selection was just OK food wise, but bonus points for having champagne on the buffet.

Location for Christmas markets was excellent - one right outside the door! And top notch decorations at the hotel itself with many passerbyers stopping to take pictures. Also convenient to the boat dock essentially up the street and behind the hotel.

Very charming hotel with wonderful Christmas decorations in the heart of Colmar. The staff was amazing. Loan (pronounced Lo'an) was very helpful with arranging a wonderful private wine tasting tour in Alsace. The hotel is a convenient walk from/to the train station.
Rooms are small but we found them cozy for the convenience and charm.
