Difficult to find but even Sat. Nav. could not find it but very central.

It was very hard to find as you have to go through a no entry road to get there, after going round in circles. The room was very small, we kept banging our head on the sloped ceilings it was very warm as Air-con did not seem to work properly, wobbly toilet seat. The breakfast was very limited for a what was the most expensive Hotel of our trip. Very disappointing.

Perfect location, quite expensive but room is ok despite the issues I had. breakfast is nice

My shower's clamp bracket was broken so I had to shower in quite an unconfortable position, also the sofa bed was pre installed as bed but I was alone so I turned it to sofa but the seating part was missing so I had to seat on springs... Staff offered to change the room and I when to try another but there was a starnge smell so I gave up... apart from that it was ok, bed was comfy and it was quiet at night

Great hotel, the staff is good, and breakfast is all good.

Unfortunately, I had a room on floor 1 which overlooks the outside area including a table tennis table and a children's play area, which alas added to extra noise I also could not park as my Camper van is 195cm in height, it would be helpful if the height restriction was in the advertisement. Prices were uber expensive because of the rugby in town, but this is a mid-range hotel that clearly saw an opportunity to cash in, and who can blame them after COVID-19?

Fantastic breakfast. Comfortable bed and clean easy to use bathroom. Quiet and good check in and out times. Brilliant location in old town.

I felt for the star rating and the cost the hotel could have had slightly larger rooms and felt a little more personalised.

It was a very cosy, comfortable hotel in the perfect location. It was accessible, there was a gated car park, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Could not get better location wise, as it was just a short walk from the centre but had so many lovely bars and restaurants near. It was not my first time staying and would stay again.

Unfortunately on arrival, there was no working water but the staff communicated very well with us and let us know developments.

Excellent location and super comfortable (and big!) bed. The room and bathroom were small but perfect for one person or two on a short stay.

There was a band playing in the hotel’s venue room and it was loud (first floor room). Luckily it finished at around 11pm but would have been nice to know in advance.

We arrived late in the evening, the people greeting us were very helpful. The rooms were small, but quiet and the separation of the WC and bathroom worked in our favour. Next morning everything went smoothly - thanks for taking care of us and our stuff.

The garage door is cumbersome, the whole building is very cramped.

Location was really good. They let us leave our car un the parking for a couple of hours after checkout.

Rooms (and beds) were insanely uncomfortable. Ours was a two-storey room, and if you need to get up to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to go downstairs. The stairs are super noisy and you wake up the kids downstairs. But then, they have to go upstairs to wash their hands, because there is no sink downstairs. We had an (expired) credit card in the light socket. It disappeared during the day. It only re-appeared 2 days later at the reception desk, and nobody knew how or who "found" it.

Location right in the old town and just 15 mins from the Eurostar station. Some of the staff were very patient with my rusty French.

Seemed a bit basic for a 4 star, only slightly better than a premier inn. We had an over enthusiastic maid who repeatedly knocked on our door in the morning, disregarding the do not disturb sign we'd hung on the handle.

The room. For the money it was very basic. One small table. No mirror in room only in bathroom. Hairdryer available but note on wall said it could only be used in the room and not the bathroom. THERE IS NO MIRROR IN THE ROOM. There was a crack in the sink which was pointed out to reception. Was advised that the technician would be told but there was no offer of a room change.

Location was excellent right in the heart of the old town. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The room was also clean.

It’s very overpriced. 5 star prices for a 3 star room. On top of the €450 price tag for the room no breakfast included, and parking and local taxes still to be added. The hot water in our room did not work in the shower. The reception recommended leaving both the sink and shower hot taps flow continuously for 10-15 minutes which apart from a complete waste of water did not solve the issue. There were no cups or glasses in the room, only an array of different types of cheap paper cups placed at the coffee machine and mini bar and again at the bathroom sink. The decor is the room is outdated and the painting needs updating too. The internal window looking on to the street was covered in water. All in all a very average room.

Family room was big, with the children’s bed and toilet downstairs and adults bed and shower upstairs on a separate balcony floor. It was nice to have two separate spaces. The room had a balcony you could look out from.

The shower took a long time to heat up, having to run the water for at least 5 minutes. Staff were apologetic about that. The children’s bed was a fold out couch, which would usually have been fine, but it was in bad shape, incredibly lumpy and creaky. The kids really struggled to get to sleep and the creaking woke them up in the night when one kids rolled over. The room was about 26 degrees (it was only about 20 outside) and the air con was loud and not that effective. We ended up removing the duvet inners and using the covers alone. The toilet was downstairs, but the only sink was upstairs, meaning we had to go up the stairs to wash hands each time.

Location, friendly staff

1. The hot water in the showers was luke warm at best (so they didn't charge me for 3 days of parking) 2. We stayed in the family room and which had a split toilet and shower. However the toilet didn't have any hand washing facilities so everytime you had to walk up the stairs to wash your hands (we were told that they are planning to reconfigure the set up)

A small friendly hotel close to Lille Europe, walking distance to the Old Town and local eateries. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and happy to suggest the best places to visit and eat during our short stay. Staff spoke English but were also happy for us to practise our French! Although there were works going on at the hotel on the floor above our room, these tended to be started and completed each day mostly when we were out. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, hot and cold, and the staff were friendly and accommodating in regard to any food intolerances. A great hotel for a short stay in Lille!

There was nowhere to hang jackets/coats in our room
