Overall the room and bathroom were fine. The staff were friendly. The public spaces felt dark and gloomy, but this might simply be because there weren't many guests, and they had turned the lighting down.
Whilst I was pleased to have on-site parking, it was very steep to access, and quite tight. Access to the hotel from the garage is a little strange, but manageable. Shower pressure, as usual, left something to be desired, and it just felt a little gloomy, overall. Nothing particular, but more a general feeling of being a bit down in the mouth.

size of the room super mini 16 squre meter = 170 squre feet. Noise of the fridge, very loud motor. After taking a shower the bathroom was a swimming pool couldn't close the glasss door. No iron. US $ 278 for an extra mini room called with salon? the worse hotel room ever. Indecent to ask such a price for that.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent location : 10 mins from Part-Dieu shopping, short walk to "Les Halles de Lyon" and we found excellent Chinese/Pizza only ten minutes away, and saw many other attractive bars and restaurants a similar distance. Breakfast good (but expensive). Price for room correct.
Parking clearly not made for larger cars (e.g. Peugeout 3008) and difficult to manoeuvre. Lift in building only for 2 people (yes, we tried more, and the lift doors would not open), obliging two members of our party to take 3 flights of stairs or wait again. Access to garage from the hotel annoying ( probably for the staff also) because one has to phone reception to go and return. No common area, bar or restaurant (closed on weekend), nothing for younger children. Lobby a bit soulless, although staff nice. Breakfast good .

The location was fine. The proximity to the essential infrastructure nearby (bus stops, station, shops, etc)
The staff was unfriendly. If you wanted to be ignored and looked down - that is the place. The whole hotel is shabby. 200 euro per night is too much.

Fantastic staff, great breakfast and fairly modern rooms. Safe, extra pillows, water boiler with complimentary coffee all contributed to a great stay, and complimentary soap and skin cremes were a nice extra bonus. Our room was completely quiet, with no noise from the surrounding cityscape.
The blinds in our room required a bit of extra work to get down, but nothing some quick maintenance can't fix.

Good location - around 20 minutes walk from Lyon Part Dieu railway station, as well as pretty close to the historical center of the town. Friendly staff. The hotel has nice lobby. Room was clean. Overall, the hotel is a good option to stay for 1-2 nights.
Thin walls - I heard noise from the neighbors. Non-stable wifi connection - disconnections appear from time to time and automatic connection is not applicable (i.e. every time when I was returning to the hotel, I was required to fill the register form to connect). Clean services was not accurate.

Comfortable lounge. Very helpful staff. Some of the signage was confusing, like the directions to the parking garage and the signs for the hotel parking spaces were very small. We missed them and parked in wrong space.
Be aware if you rented anything but a small car, find another place to park. It took a very long time to maneuver our 5 passenger car out.
The breakfast was excellent. A real value for a buffet with eggs, fresh orange juice, breads, waffles and real maple syrup.
There are two hotels that share the lobby. The Crequi has smaller halls and rooms. The Bonnel is larger and more expensive. There is a shared Fitness room which was good.
The location is great. We walked to the train station, restaurant and museums.
The room was a little worn. The TV was an older model which didnโt support casting. The WIFI worked unreliably.

Lady at check in was rude. We arrived for check in and had to wait as she was counting some cash for ages. Then she checked us in and said we donโt have breakfast, that the parking is full. Asked if there is a good restaurant nearby and she said they are all closed as it bank holiday. All negative. We went out and found plenty of restaurants open. Room was really small

I chose this because of the BestWestern brand and it delivered. The hotel has an old look, almost like a seaside vibe, with small rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom was very spacious and clean.

Best Western Lyon was an amazing experience. The lady at check-in was warm, kind, and welcoming from start to finish, and the check-out process was smooth with plenty of smiles. The hotel is in a calm area, and the rooms were neat, with a nice view. The bathroom was clean, and there was 24/7 hot water for showers. I also appreciated the free-flowing water available for guests. A fantastic stay overall, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
