Girls at the reception were amazing, so helpful and kind! I stayed a weekend with my boyfirend and we enyojed a lot! Rooms are big and confortable, the restaurant has a beautiful view to the St. Peter's cathedral, breakfast is delicious, and location is perfect - colose to the Arc de Triomphe, 10 min walking from Place de Comedie, and there are many nice restaurants around. The hotel is perfect for couples. :)

The location was excellent. The room was clean and had very nice views of the cathedral, the bed was comfortable, but it was a quite old room.
Breakfast was terrible. We arrive at 8.50AM, we're served cold coffee most likely from the previous day. There were few electric plugs in the room, and only one near the bed.

Ideal location from which to explore Montpellier's city center. Staff were exceptionally helpful. The view of the cathedral from our room was spectacular. Small breakfast area was charming. Public parking nearby (Arc de Triomphe) is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and easy to find.
Some of the carpeting, furnishings and bathroom fixtures were a little dated and could use an update.

Great location in old town, 5 minute walk from the tram line. Cafe bloc at the end of the street amazing.
It is a little tired on the staircases and hallways, room good size but basic. We had room 121, which is next door entrance is also out the hotel and next door along to access the room. Not a problem though.

This is a good standard hotel in a very good location on the higher part of the city about a 10 min walk to the main square, Comédie.
Public parking is close at Arc de Triumph just a few minutes walk. A parking discount is available through the hotel.
Staff were very helpful and had good English,
We asked for a room with a view of the nearby church but it was on a low level with virtually no aspect to the church.
The room standard was ok but a little tired.

Helpful front desk people. And very nice breakfast young man.
Difficult to say as the downside( not remodeled) is also what gives it its charm. Please keep the home feeling and nice furniture in remodeling.

The hotel is old and a little worn out but I loved it! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Eglise St Pierre was great.

It was a charming hotel in the heart of the old part of the city. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee in the bedrooms. The buffet breakfast was tasty and good value for money and it was served on a beautiful terrace.

The location in the city center. Easy to go out and parking facilities nearby. Nice restaurants nearby. Montpellier is a very nice city to visit.
Check inn was annonced at 14h00 but room was only ready at 14h30. The staff was running around, but had no idea what they were doing. No water in the fridge and the carpet in the hall way and stairs needs urgent cleaning.

The quietness, the view from room 32, the extreme helpfulness and friendliness and intelligence of the staff, especially Sophie and Juann, the location near the beautiful botanical garden of the school of medicine and the nearby restaurants. The view of the cathedral was beautiful.
The location was great.
The complementary tissues and shoe polish were a nice touch.
Breakfast was fine, and also had a lovely cathedral view.
The room was clean and I appreciated the spare pillows and blanket in the cupboard.
Staff members were all very nice.
Overall, it was a good hotel to stay at for one night.
Nothing major, but a few details could be improved:
The room didn't smell very nice.
There were paint stains in the bathtub.
The double-bed was small and positioned against the bathroom wall (only accessible from one side). That wasn't an issue for me as I was alone, but won't be very comfortable for a couple.
A little noisy (noise coming from the corridor and the adjacent room).

The location is perfect, close to all what counts. The hotel is located in an old building of the historical center of the city, walking distance to a huge offer of restaurants and bars, shopping and site-seeing. Staff is great, extremely nice and helpful. The room was very spacious. The only disappointing part was the bed, not so comfy, including pillows and bed linen... Needs some upgrade.
Nothing, really. Just a tip: if you have a car, the hotel has an agreement with an underground parking close-by. Worth asking the reception before arrival to indicate you the name of the parking, you will save money and time - and will not have to struggle with traffic in that part of town.

The morning receptionist was very pleasant, and the evening receptionist kindly carried one bag for us to the room. The hotel, although difficult to find, and access, was well located on foot close to the Monpellier arc de triomph and a nice shopping area, a square, and restaurants.
The king bed was two twins attached and had a very hard mattress - very uncomfortable. The pillows were as flat as a pancake. The toilet was impossible to sit on without squeezing oneself on sideways as the washhand basin had a huge tiled surround which left only a few inches of space before the toilet. The bedroom floor felt as if it was made of 3 ply and was noisy with every step - we did not know if there was anyone below us to disturb. The room was in another building up the street which in itself was not a bother just unexpected. The hotel was very difficult to find, and although the receptionist told us where to find the parking garage, there was no possibility of getting the car anywhere near the hotel to drop off/pick up one's luggage and had to be carried from the underground parking which also had many steps. The hotel had some steps down to the lobby and more steps up to the reception desk - there was no disability access. I had 2 service dogs with me, a companion , and luggage so it was all an ordeal.

The building is a bit dated with the hall carpets looking pretty well trodden on and some of the fixtures are not that up to date. Nothing was a problem but it looked like it had been a well-used hotel.

The location.
Parking and unacceptable communication from the manager, Cyrille Charpentier. Parking is in the city parking garage and the hotel will pay for 50% of the fee but the process is not straight forward. Unknowingly, we did not follow the procedure correctly so were required to pay the full fee. After checking out of the hotel, I received an email from Mr. Charpentier asking if we had any problems with our stay. I sent a reply with the details and asked him to respond even if he was not able to remedy the situation. I never received any response. Poor customer service and I won’t return to this hotel. There are many other better options.

The suite with the private garden in the annex was very charming. The location, while on a small quiet street, was steps from the Place de la Canourgue, St. Pierre, lively cafes, restaurants, and shops. Loved the overall atmosphere of where the hotel is situated.
The amenities were quite spare. Some basics such as slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste would have been great if they were made available upon request.
