A wonderful experience! This hotel was clean, great A/C, and great location. We were impressed by how clean the hotel room was. As Americans, we value a very cold room while sleeping and their A/C worked wonderfully! Our room was next to the elevator but we could not hear anyone from that or above us. Location-wise, everything is within walking distance.
The WIFI did not work well. Only one person in the room could be on It at a time for it to work.

The room was lovely and it looked like it had been recently updated/renovated. It had mostly everything we needed.
The breakfast was ok. The scrambled eggs could have been cooked more. They were a little mushy. For $18 EU which is about $20-21 US $ I expected more. The chopped fruit looked like it came from a can vs fresh cut.
The hotel should supply shampoo and conditioner for hair

The interior is very cool and Arty within the reception area. The reception staff were lovely and very accommodating. The Location was excellent and the view from the room was nice.
Our Lemon room was not great value for money. The bathroom was very poorly laid out for such a high class hotel meaning water sprayed all over the floor and it was very difficult to climb into the bath/shower due to the toilet being right next to the toilet. the carpet was old, 50% of the plug fittings worked and the lights chosen in the bedrooms were horrible with aggressive light bulbs which could easily be changed and no overhead light making coming and going from the bedroom more difficult. The bedroom was also situated directly next to the lift and in the stairwell with people shouting at times as they walked up and down the stairs.

I'd say there are hotels that are more luxurious, comfortable, value for money, but this hotel has real personality and charm and super friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and unique, the outside garden/terrace really really nice. I also found the area superb, just far enough away from the masses, close to the beach and lively bars and restaurants as well.
Like I said, I've stayed in rooms with better beds, toilets, showers, but few have as much character and style.

The breakfast experience I would rate as poor, this was the only time that the staff were not helpful when asked for an extra plate was told you have one on your table & that’s it, i still don’t understand why you were only “ allowed one plate “ the quality of the juices was poor & the general selection was only average
The general ambience of the hotel was lovely & except from above statement the staff were excellent very helpful & friendly nothing was too much trouble for them

through no fault of their own, it was a very noisy night with roadworks going on. I asked for the quietest room available and I believe the front of staff house switched me to a room farther from the work. It didn't eliminate the issue, but it did help, and furthermore I was given a discount on the night's stay, which was unexpected and appreciated. The hotel is a little bit spartan in some ways but it isn't like any other hotel I know of and I like its off-beat decor. The garden outside is magnificent. Breakfast is fine--try the lemon jam on your toast or baguette.
I had coffee outside in the lovely garden and it seems staff use a small area outside and directly below the terrace to have their breaks--it got quite loud but I could move back indoors and the front lobby is comfortable and roomy.

Loved the staff, the location was fantastic, the room and the bathroom were very cute and super clean.
Unfortunately, the last day, there was a strange odor coming from ventilation, as if there was a sewage smell. We even turned off the fan and AC, but it still smelled bad.
Loved the quirky style of the hotel and the staff were exceptionally friendly. It was really easy to walk to main areas like the promenade, the old town and the train station. I had a quiet afternoon one day and the garden was a lovely setting to sit with a book and a glass of wine.
The bathroom was very small so a little uncomfortably tight.

Friedly staff. Rooms were clean. Hotel is reasonably well located.
This hotel clearly isn't a 4 star hotel. It is more of a youth hostel or 3 star hotel. It is very very very dated. Decoration is spartanic (youth hostel style). Breakfast buffet rather basic. Swimming pool unusable (very tiny and dated, very different from the pictures). I had booked this hotel for the garden but the garden is not cosy nor well arranged. The whole hotel needs a serious revamp. Our stay was completely overpriced.

The room size, the bed was great. Incredibly clean, all of the staff were lovely. We also booked a massage in the hotel. One of the best I have ever had. Really easy to get to the beach & restaurants. Breakfast was really good especially for solo travellers as they don’t clear your table away if you let them know where you are sitting.
This is being really picky but the bath tub has digs in it not sure how they could have been made. The other issue is sound proofing. My friend had the room above me I could hear her toilet flushing. I also heard the couple next door having sex and then him vomiting a lot.

Hotel Windsor is a very personal and familiar place to stay and with great style and comfort. It is a great location, close to tram stop to/from airport, SNCF station, seafront and main part of the city. The streets around are lively but remain quiet and away from the main tourist areas. The rooms overlooking the garden have a nice balcony with a view of the "jungle". Rooms are spacious and well presented. First stayed around 10 years ago and nice to be back.
Main room and bathroom are nicely set out. Some aspects need a refresh such as the bedside cabinets and some decoration in the toilet, which is perfectly functional but rather basic.

Excellent location, close to the beach, train station, old town, and restaurants. Breakfast was served outside in the garden, which was pleasant, and fresh fruits were available. The pool is small but lovely and cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly.
The room was smaller than expected, especially the very tiny bathroom. Only body wash was provided—no shampoo or hair conditioner. Breakfast was fresh but had the same limited selection every day, which became repetitive during a 7-day stay.

Loved the garden the most.
Dinner was good but one woman was good and the other one not so good ?the waitresses.
Disappointed with room size and shower quality. Needed to get help several times. The photos on booking make it look nicer than it is.

The property was central to the activities that we wanted to do. I loved the jungle. Having a glass of wine in the evening in the jungle was a pleasure. The bed was comfortable. Our room was very quiet, but we could also look out from a Juliet balcony and enjoy the going on. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed speaking with them every day.

The staff was professional and friendly. They rectified a situation where we got an unpleasant smelling room that didn't look like the one in the ads by offering a slightly better room. They have a sauna and a small gym.
The less expensive rooms look nothing like the pictures. They're worn down and not the cleanest. The toilet/shower has a really bad smell in some rooms.
