We spent a very nice week at the Hotel Monceau Wagram. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak English well and respond quickly to emails/messages, not like other hotels we have tried to communicate with before. We informed the hotel that we would be arriving earlier than the room would be available and we just wanted to store our suitcases, but when we arrived they gave us more and made up our room before its normal availability (14:00) and we could have a rest in our room after a long journey. They clean and make up the room, replace the consumed soaps/shower gels and the used towels every day! Also you might find some welcome gifts in the room :-)
The breakfast is rich and good, the small restaurant is very nicely decorated and equipped for your comfort. In the lobby you can have some cakes and coffee free of charge, also in the room they provide free tea and coffee supplies. The city center and most of the POI-s/attractions are close even on foot, in case to reach the more distant destinations we have used RER and metro. (We highly recommend to install RATP application on your phone if you want to use the public transportation!)
Before we have booked in Hotel Monceau Wagram we have read a lot of feedback, especially the very good and the very poor ones. One of the most complained thing was the slowly return of the deposit (in our case it was 260EUR). We have received the deposit back on the same day we have leaved the Hotel, so nobody shall worry about it!
The room is a bit noisy due to the older window rubber insulation, it would be helpful to replace it in order to reduce the noise coming from the street. The other noise source is a kind of "body sound" coming from the shower or children's foot tapping. But none of them were bad enough to complain about. Of course, the behavior of the guests can greatly affect the comfort of your stay, that is, the hotel can not completely eliminate.

Close to Arc of Triumph site by walk and also all sites can be connected via public transit lines from here easily. Staff was kind, however it was a bit unusual to be forced to pay the room before check-in. Breakfast was okay-ish, but does not worth the 15 EUR for a person. There are plenty bakeries nearby to have a good breakfast cheaper.
The room was a noisy, small room. The corridors on the levels are so small and all 4 rooms open to the same tiny space, so any noise infiltrate into the room. Also the elevator is literally next to the room door. The window in our room did not work purposefully, lots of street noise bothered us, even in the late evening. Shower pressure is very low, need to get used to it. I would not pick this accommodation if next time in Paris.

Only the location.
The hotel’s location is the only redeeming feature of our stay. Everything else was an exercise in disappointment. The décor appears untouched since the proudly framed TripAdvisor award… from 2015, which, judging by our experience, must have been the last time basic hospitality standards were checked.
On our first night, we pulled back the covers to find dirty sheets and mattress (photos attached). Which we alerted the front desk about. We removed the sheets ourselves, already a red flag, and replaced them with new ones, only to discover a mattress so stained it could qualify as modern art. As a result, my family of four ended up crammed into one bed, after a very long day, despite paying for a family room with two beds. The pillows were also very bad.
The hallways were cluttered with building materials and strangers luggage, making the place feel less like a hotel and more like the backroom of a second-hand furniture shop. Calling this a 4-star property is pure fiction, two stars would be generous, and one of those would be for the postcode.
This was not just below standard, it was unsanitary, misleading, and unfit for purpose. We were also made to pay upfront on arrival. The hotel also took a deposit for damages from our card 5 days before we even arrived without notice!
I am therefore demanding a full refund within 7 days. Should this not be resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter across review platforms to ensure other travellers are warned not to stay there.

Quaint hotel in a neighborhood away from the hectic touristy parts of the city. Room was small but very comfortable with a large bed and beautiful windows that open to the street. There were welcome treats and water in the room when we arrived. We felt completely safe here with the 24 hour front desk. If you aren’t expecting luxury and only need to stay for a few days then Hotel Monceau Wagram is perfect for the value. They let us check in early which was also very convenient.

The location was fine. Other than that I don't see any positive points. This is not a 4 star hotel. You open the front door and you step into the breakfast area. You open the room door and you step into your bed. IT IS A SCAM people. If you're young, appreciative of quality, and want to get your money's worth: DONT BOOK HERE. It supposed to be our 5th year anniversary getaway, but the experiences was horrible. I hope no one else goes through this.

Before departure, I contacted the hotel because my wife became ill. We had not left yet. I asked for a cancellation, explaining we were supposed to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in Paris, but she was extremely unwell. They completely refused to take this into account. Over €400 for 3 nights is a lot of money. The chat staff was rude and unwilling to help, so we ended up going anyway.
Upon arrival, there was NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT ALL, despite what was mentioned at their page. I contacted Booking about this immediately and they initiated an investigation (still pending). I was given a shady paper with a garage “7 minutes walking away.” This was false, it was at least a 10-minute drive/25-minute walk. The garage was dirty, unmonitored, accessible from the street, and had concrete spaces where you couldn’t even open the car door. Parking there was impossible. We had to find another garage for €50 per night extra!!!
The room was EXTREMELY small: you open the door and step straight into the bed. NOT WORTHY OF 4 STARS. The WiFi, TV connection, and phone did not work (isn’t this mandatory for 4 stars?). The room was COLD, and an employee said: “It is cold in December.” Seriously?! The kettle doesnt stop boiling, so i needed to do this manually and got burned. I couldnt charge my phone next to my bedside as I didnt get power there. WHAT WAS THIS?! Only after we said that we wouldnt finish our stay and leave a day sooner they offered an upgrade. As we were SO dissapointed at that point we didnt accept and left. I have booked hotels all over the world via Booking, and this was: THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Incredibly small hotel, you can't go anywhere without hitting a wall, dodgy elevator and stairs, had a reservation for 3 we got 2 towels on the first day, cleaning was done and we only got 1 towel the second time, had to go downstairs to ask for the towels as I was not able to call the reception from the room, if it works its unclear what the process was.
