Staff was very friendly, hours of restaurant/bar very accommodating. Great location. Easy to access. Room was over main street but not too noisy.
Complimentarly WiFi was marginal. Could connect sometimes but otherwise it said no internet connection. Also WiFi password was crazy long...

I think the room was not well organised in terms of furniture and use of space

Close to the railway station. The city center is within walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean - and small. The furniture in the breakfast room has a nice modern design.
The room was quite small and without much daylight - to be expected in a townhouse. Wifi signal was too weak in my room.

The location is superb if you make Rennes your camp base for making different day trips outside the city (Mont St.Michel, Dinan) - the train station is at a stoneโs throw.
The best thing, however, was the hotelโs staff who did everything to make you feel at home. Merci beaucoup!

Contrary to what other reviews here said (if I remember correctly), the wifi worked well in my room and there was no problem with them storing my rucsac on the last day after I checked out. The location is only a few hundred yards from the train station in the direction of the old town. The staff were very helpful, and one of them spoke good English. Comfortable bed and nice warm water.
There was only a QR code in the room to provide further details, and I couldn't get this to work (site not available). So I had to go to reception to ask for the wifi password.
Guests have no key for the outside door, so must ring a bell after 22:00. They said that someone was on duty 24 h, but I would have been concerned about disturbing them late at night.

The hotel is perfectly located near the train station and the major landmarks of Rennes, including a great selection of restaurants that can be easily accessed by foot. The staff is very friendly and goes through all lengths to accommodate our requests. They allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out and even kept some food in their refrigerator for us. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!
Very minor comments -- the door was a bit difficult to open with the keycard.

Walked from the Railway station and lots of good restaurants near by. We stayed for just 1 night so for us location was important over luxury . Although we didnโt eat in the restaurant , it did look lovely and was at full capacity.
Maybe could do with a bit of modernisation, however cannot fault the hotel for our needs.

Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre and very close to the train station.
It would have been nice to have a bit more storage in the room (perhaps a cupboard, shelves, hooks, mounted to the wall so as not to take up floor space).

A hotel with a great central location and wonderful staff. At check-in we got an extensive explanation of good things to do while in Rennes, and all of the staff were very kind about helping us with small accommodations like dropping off bags early and working at a space table in dining room in the early morning that made things extra easy.

The hotel is very well located, close to the centre and to the main train station. The room was confortable, small but well arranged. The reception staff was perfect, with a smile and great suggestions for dinner. I had to work after check out and they gave me a table in their restaurant, with wifi and a good coffee. I stayed for lunch and the menu was very nice, not a big menu offer but starter/main dish or main dish/dessert options at a good price.
I will certainly go back to this hotel next time in Rennes
Breakfast a bit expensive but you have a boulangerie close by for croissant and a coffee if you do not need a big meal to start the day

Convenient, centrally located, and affordable. The hotel is quiet and the staff are nice. There is a restaurant downstairs.
The showers are tiny and the shower heads really irritating. More towels, and larger towels, would be great. It's a basic hotel but it does the trick.
