They put me in different room and different location when I arrived on the day .saying they are busy .they will put me back in the original room I booked tomorrow?(what the heck) after I traveled 14hours flight.i was too tired to argue.so I waited till next day around 1pm still Noone to inform me what to do.so I called booking.com hong kong.they told me to return the key and they will refund to me.and the hostel refused to give my refund and saying I already accepted they offered me another room on arrival.so I didn't want to argue with them.and leave it to booking.com when I come home.i caaled booking.com when i came home and i agrred to take hlaf of the refund (they didnt want to pay for the whole amount so i accepted the half)but YET i still haven't got any payment??

As we red a lot of bad things about this guest house we were surprised how decent it was. The room was super small indeed but two of us could perfectly fit for 2 nights with huge backpacks. It was very clean as well and furnished (fridge, hair dryer, tv) in the mansion where the room is located we did not feel unsafe at all even after midnight (I was traveling with a girl), but thats true it looks catchy. Location is also perfect.

The building is a madness, just madness, been around the world a lot but I havent seen anything like this anywhere. So it was rather an interesting cultural experience than a nightmare. The building itself is quite dirty and feels like you are in the Enter the Void movie. Quite often you also have to queue for the elevator and when you get in you are squeezed! But its Hong Kong, it didnโ€™t bother me.

It was hard to find the place, and we had to call several times before anyone would meet us at the reception. They didn't respond to our messages, which made it hard. The bathroom was so small that we couldn't sit on the toilet seat normally, we had to sit on the side because the toilet was up against the wall.

Impossible to find yhe adress, even the adress mentioned on the site is wrong, it is very big complex with hundrets of guest houses. And it is very very difficult to find the right place. Better pay a bit more and stay another place

Our stay was good, but there were some mix-ups with the rooms that caused us to transfer from one room to another. On our first night, we werenโ€™t even on the same floor. Some of us were in Block D while others were in Block C. We were promised that the next day we would be moved to new rooms that would be adjacent to each other on the same floor. Guess whatโ€”this didnโ€™t happen, all because another guest complained. This is the worst experience Iโ€™ve had among all the accommodations Iโ€™ve booked in the past. Some of the staff were rude, except for one Filipina staff member who was very helpful to us. I will never book this place again.

location as it is near to landmarks/tourist spots, food stops and shops

access to the room as there is only 1 lift that cater not only for tenants/tourist but is a service lift too, (for garbage disposal, prepared food for the eatery in the ground floor) hence the smell. the โ€˜familyโ€™ room that we were apparently moved to as the room for 3 that we booked for is not available is so SMALL and narrow that there is no space to walk facing forward. no space for luggages too, even under the bed as it was used for storage the worst part of all is the electricity tripping off every time we switched on the water heater. for 4days of our 7days/6nights we donโ€™t have hot water in the toilet. the first time we call and informed the cleaner (receptionist is not available) she came to our room and try to turn ON the power in the circuit breaker but once she turn ON the water heater power, it tripped off. as we were going out we sent an email to the provided contact and they acknowledged receipt of the complaint. as we arrived late in the evening from our tour, we did not bother turning on the water heater. in the morning when we turn it ON again-tripped off again. we called on the receptionist and ince again only the cleaner was answering the phone. same scenario cleaner came up and told us that she thought the issue was looked after already. next day, same scenario but this time the receptionist himself answered the call and what he was saying is the issue is our charger is the one that is causing the tripping OFF of the water heater switch. what an excuse! as we donโ€™t want our vacation to go into waste, we just accept our faith.

I read others review and I booked with fear. It is a guest house โ€ฆ means is an apartment which the bedrooms was converted to hotel roomsโ€ฆ you have a bad , air conditioned, and half bathroom with shower. You must to understand what do you book . You have towel and shower gel .

I will recommend blanket to have a sheet โ€ฆ I am not convinced they are washed after every quest .
