The location was great - easy access to the centre of Causeway Bay, and two MTR stations in easy walking distance. Good local amenities (shops, restaurants, Starbucks). Room was a good size for a twin. Good bathroom and servicing of the room each day.
The air conditioning was very effective at cooling the room but didn't seem to work to heat the room. Some aspects of the room/bathroom looked a little tired/dated, but nothing major considering the price.

When we were checking in the staff was very friendly and assisted us with our luggage. When checking out the staff also kindly assisted us with calling a cab. The room was sufficiently well furbished. We were able to open up 2 medium luggages with some rearrangement and there was also 2 seating areas and a luggage stand provided. The location of the hotel is highly convenient being just a short 5 - 10 min walk away from the main Causeway Bay Area and there are a lot of marts and good eateries around. Overall a good location if you like staying near shopping area and good eateries!
Although the room was generally clean, there was some noticeable dirt and green debris near the socket area at the table. The rest of the room was clean. No issues with the cleanliness of the toilet. The bed was also rather hard although the sheets were clean and blanket nice and soft.

The location was great, close to the Times Square building, the subway, and trams! The room was better than expected for the priceโit was a large bed, nice views of the city, and had everything I needed.
I wouldnโt recommend staying here if you want to spend a lot of time in the hotel, as the rooms are small and a bit outdated. If you plan to mostly be out and about and just need a comfortable place to sleep, highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our room on the 30th floor offered stunning views of the bay, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The hotel's location is another major plus-it's conveniently situated near the MTR station and several malls, making it easy to get around and access shops, restaurants, and attractions.
However, the breakfast left a bit to be desired. While the food was decent, the selection was quite limited, and the menu didn't change during our stay, which made it repetitive.

The location of the hotel was excellent. It only takes a few minute walk to reach the bus, train, and tram stops. The bed was comfortable and the size of the room was just enough to be able to open our luggage at the same time. They also kindly gave us rooms all adjacent to each other which was really convenient, especially because we were traveling with a lot of elderly people and had to check on them every now and then.
There was a slight water leak in the bathroom, most likely from the AC. Also, the staff from the reception on the first floor were very patient and accommodating which I really appreciated. However, some of the staff on the ground floor were not so friendly and very impatient. Also, the lifts in the morning during peak hours can get very busy. We had to wait at least 15 minutes just to be able to go down.

We felt very safe to walk around there at night. The size of the room is relatively larger than others. The huge window brings beautiful city and harbor views as well.
There are limited towels available in the room. Trying to catch the elevators in the peak hours were frustrating, as they were always full. How the elevators were programmed did not help to ease the congestion.

Rosedale has great location with easy access to various mode of transportation (trams, MTR, buses (even the bus direct to HK Airport Terminal 1 is just at its door step) and walking distance to Causeway Bay shopping area. It is at the end of Causeway Bay which is not as busy but you still can get access to good shopping, eateries, money changers, even laundry shop around the corner. Staff are friendly and helpful, from reception, doormen to housekeeping. This is our family's 3rd or 4th stay at Rosedale and we would love to come back again when we visit HK next time.
Our Deluxe Suite looks dated. The doors, carpets, especially the toilet (mirror, door) have visible sign of wear and tear. Molds were seen developing in the chaulked areas between floor tiles in the standing shower. For the Deluxe Suite, I thought they used to have microwave included, but it is not available anymore. The sofa pillows/covers should get a good wash too. We stayed on the 8th Floor and it took us ages every morning to get down to the main entrance, even if you take the lift up and then down.

The staff were generally nice. I particularly liked the small, older concierge in the ground entrance area:- he was very helpful and super pleasant.
The location is perfect for all amenities, shops, restaurants, Victoria Park, transport links.
The hotel is very dated. Areas hark back to the worst of1970's bad decor.
My bedroom was adequate but but the bed was like concrete.
And the view, at the back of the hotel was pretty grim.
The bathroom sink was badly cracked , not very clean and there was black mould on the bathroom tiles and grout. Towels were thin to the point that some had holes in them.
Unfortunately, also, the guests in the neighbouring room were very noisy through two of my three nights stay there.
Breakfast was o.k. but when the staff say it finishes at 10:30 a.m., they mean it. They would hover around the tables, whipping stuff off as soon as possible....quite rude.

AC unit in my room has this weird smell. It slowly goes away when I turn it off, I can't help but wonder if it's just my room that's having this issue or something else.

The location was perfect for our visit with my son. Close to restaurants, park, busses, etc
The room was very small, difficult for two people to have places to sit. Check in provided minimal information about amenities, and there were no instructions on how to use the TV. Therefore we could not use it. The wifi was very weak, there was buffering all the time.
