The comfortable and cozy hotel located in the centre of Budapest in a walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The hotel provides tasty breakfasts and free snacks during the day; slippers; and luggage room services. There is sauna and a small gym, both are free of charge. The receptionists are very helpful. Highly recommended.

location of the hotel (in central area) is very well suited for those who want to walk the city. we received an upgrade for a side apartment with 2 levels. very spacious and well well furnished, with comfortable beds on both levels. we preferred to use the first floor as a bedroom and the ground floor as a living room. the breakfast is tasty, although it does not vary much from one day to the next.

the heating is done through the air conditioning system and practically all night there was quite a loud noise upstairs. from the second night we decided not to turn on the heating on the first floor and to "force" it only on the one on the ground floor, it was a quieter sleep.

Staff very friendly - in Frontdesk and breakfast; Location; Room commodity and small kitchen; Comfortable bads

Miss places to hang coaches etc; Space to open bags ; Have to go out of the room(on cold weather) to go to breakfast area; The last 2 days, the room heater didnt work, and despite staff prompt said that would reset, didnt return. Anyway, I believe the rooms have a separate temperature control and second system on the upstairs room, so, wasnt a big problem.

We loved everything, the friendly reception staff, the excellent breakfast team members who couldn't do enough for everyone, the snacks left out during the day for guests along with the chocolate snacks and mulled wine in the evening. We were lucky enough to get to use the sauna during our stay which was heaven after a long day walking around beautiful Budapest. The welcome note on arrival with the complimentary bottle of wine and then to top it all off, the complimentary bottles of water when we checked out. We will definitely be back.

Complementary treats and tea in foyer. Front desk staff are really friendly. Good bathroom and kitchen. Scrambled eggs and coffee were great.

We were "upgraded" to a more expensive suite, but it was smaller, and on the ground floor with small windows and only a view of the smoking area and lift, which offered no privacy, compared to our booking. Our room was by the entrance so it was very noisy, and we were woken up by other guests arriving late at night or leaving early, or going to breakfast, also by the cleaning staff at 530am (not their fault, just the rooming location) etc. Ground floor room was right next to the smoking area so had to close all windows because the smoke came in to the bedroom. Room had lots of noises from above floors, water systems, and the heating pipes made noises. Very hot overnight as only the heating works, not aircon, room reached 26c on first night and disturbed our sleep each night. Breakfast is very limited and very small space, not worth the price of breakfast or the "superb" rating stated.

The staff where all super helpful, Day and night. As a major Coffee drinker I did appreciate all the good Coffee in the room. The breakfast buff was good. We appreciate quality over quantity, which was the case here Good location as well, we could walk to all the sights (we do enjoy walking though).

The name "Garden" hotel gave me hope for a "lounge feeling" on the bottom floor, on the yard. But unfortunately nowhere to sit. Because we went in February, maybe?

Great room with a comfortable bed and full kitchenette, friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Close to the airport shuttle drop-off and a metro line.

Walk to room from elevator/stairs on the 3rd floor, maybe not ideal for those who don't like heights. (As an acknowledgment, it was very obviously safe)

Our experience at Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments was delightful in every aspect. The breakfast offered was delicious and provided a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The room we stayed in was spacious, providing ample room for relaxation and comfort throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was superb, offering easy access to key attractions and amenities in the area, making our exploration of the city convenient and enjoyable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Opera Garden and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a comfortable stay in a prime location. There some rentable e-scooters around the area, you just need to download the app Tier and it will show you in the map where they are.

It is located close to the opera house which is why we booked a room there. I really liked the mulled wine just outside of the elevator and the snacks to go with it. On a cold winter night it was comforting to have a warm glass of wine to take up to our room. Only in Hungary! Hungarians really know how to eat and drink.

That we got a ticket to go to the opera. Unfortunately for us, it was sold out. Always buy your opera tickets ahead of time.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the Center, parking across the room. Separate entrance appartment with gallery for the kids and us on the ground floor was perfect layout and kids loved it! Beds are quite big and very comfortable, whole app was clean and everything in place, even we got a bottle of rose wine as compliments from the hotel. Small, but fully equipped kitchen had good coffee machine with capsules and instant coffee bags, so no need to run to the store. Bakery shop within hotel building has excellent cakes, croissants, pastries and U get a discount as a guest. Several very good restaurants and pizzerias within literally few steps from the room. Alltogether = this made our stay im Budapest great experience!

Location was close to lots of the sights, bars and restaurants. Room was good size, furnished simply but still cosy. Lots of choice for breakfast including excellent strudel from the shop next door. Plenty of staff on hand and they were always friendly and helpful.

Our first room had very noisy air-con which kept us awake on the first night. We told reception who said maintenance would look at it. Unfortunately it was exactly the same on the second night. When mentioned to reception again they kindly arranged for us to move rooms
