Our 4th stay over the years at the Maldron Hotel, we always stop here every year. As expected the rooms were clean with very comfy beds. The bathroom was also clean and a good size. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had a wide range of foods available for all tastes. Above all, the staff were excellent, we have gotten to know them over the years and our welcome is always a warm one. See you next February.
On this visit we had an evening meal in the bar area, it took a considerable amount of time to arrive and one of the dishes contained ingredients that were not disclosed when giving the order, we had to return the dish. They had also run out of my choice of beer and it wasn't available during our 5 day stay.

Good location with an Aldi right beside the hotel. The breakfast was great, and the gym facilities were good too. My family loved it and want to go back.
Our family room had creaky beds that would wake you up during the night. Also you have to pay extra to park at the hotel, and they don’t make it obvious if you use a machine to check in that you need to get your ticket validated (I ended up paying twice for my parking).

Bar/restaurant was very noisy, couldn't hear yourself think. Problem if you check in online as it overcharged on parking fee. Ours was double but got it sorted at checkout.

I stayed at the Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross for 5 days for a leisure trip and had a very comfortable experience. The room was cosy with a very comfortable bed, and the housekeeping staff did a great job — towels were changed daily, and two bottles of water were provided each day if the previous ones had been used. It made the stay feel fresh and well-cared for.
Breakfast was impressive: all allergy types were clearly listed both at the counter and on the menu, which made choosing food easy and stress-free.
Overall, the hotel offered a relaxing and worry-free stay, perfect for unwinding!

Upon opening door of room there was a fusty smell, we established it was coming from shower curtain in bathroom. We booked a deluxe room. The bathroom was tired and needed updating from cracked tiled to stains and chips on bath tub. Beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and never before had to pay for parking car, the charge is now 10 euro per day.

The location was just right, not inside the city centre but not too far either. And parking was abundant in the hotel grounds. For a triple room, the size was adequate and beds were very comfortable.

This hotel is tastefully decorated. We loved our room! It was so spacious and clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It felt like we were in the med! There wasn't just tea and coffee provided in our room but biscuits too and posh water in cartons! The food at the hotel was outstanding and reasonably priced. The live singer/guitarist did a grand job. The staff were all so friendly.
Sadly our shower was leaking! We couldn't work out how but the floor was all wet. We had to mop it up with our towels and request more. Other than that everything was perfect.

Fold out couch was not comfortable and was very squeaky when the person using it moved.
There were also 2 fire alarms in the space of 4 hours in the morning that were disruptive. We had prepaid for the room, parking and late checkout. We had to pay €12 to get out of the parking lot which was annoying; housekeeping came prior to the late checkout hour we’d paid for and when I tried to check out at our late check out time the message was we had already checked out, which we hadn’t. Alone none of these things were especially annoying (except the €12 to exit the parking lot when we had already paid for parking).

Staff was very helpful. Room was large. The lunch we had was very good.
We hadn't realized that getting an Uber/taxi would be so expensive to get from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the City Centre for doing sightseeing. The hotel itself was great.

Everything was superb. There were a few minor issues but, other than those ....which were resolved quickly...there was no major issues.
The fact that we needed to stay for an extra night but there was no availability.
We booked another hotel down the road ....which may I add....was exceptional...

The food and staff at the restaurants were excellent. I would come back for this.
Some of the front desk staff was very unfriendly to rude. They would leave us dirty glasses most days. We left for a couple of days and came back to feces on the comforter. They charged daughter $200 for paying with a different CC than my booking card.

As soon as we checked in the people at the front desk were amazing. The lady I checked in was very nice and made the check-in process easy. The room was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and I loved the room card to turn the lights on feature. Everything was very clean and more than a enough room!
The only thing that wouldve made the rooms perfect was if there was a mini refrigerator in there to keep our drinks and leftovers in. That was the only thing I feel was missing.

The room was super spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I loved having a bath in the room.
Overall, the staff was not very pleasant, and nothing worked--my parking ticket kept expiring, so I was often stuck at a ramp and couldn't get out of the lot. Also, the fact that the parking is not free for the guests of the hotel is outrageous (I would understand if it was downtown Dublin, but it's not). The location is out of the way, far from the city and there is only one elevator taking you up from the main lobby and the hotel wings are super long, so it took us several minutes walking and walking and walking to reach our room.

The beds and shower were good.
The breakfast and canteen were good but lacked atmosphere.
The corridors were too long and poorly signposted. Small worded signs and limited artwork on the wall for people to follow. 1 lift for all rooms. The party walls between rooms were concrete and you could hear every conversation, movement, shower, toilet flush, etc from 6am in the morning.
The car park security bar wasn't working, so it was open all night. The heating wasn't working in the bedroom, and the staff came to look but couldn't fix it. There was no room thermostat. The Lift wasn't working when we arrived at our room.
The Beds were clean and comfy, but the curtains were off the hooks in 2 parts, but ok. The bathrooms were just ok. The shower was good.
The breakfast and canteen were good but lacked atmosphere.

They have live music Saturday night. The sound was very noticeable in my room which disrupted my sleep. I asked if anyone else asked about the loud music, they said no. This is surprising that I was only one.

The room itself was tired but functional.
Stayed in the hotel to be well rested before and important meeting. Didn't get to sleep at all. Might as well but the bed on the N7 my room (#288) was so close to the road. The noise was just awful and absolutely relentless and the window did not close fully, the seal was broken. Paid 10 euro for parking in advance, nobody took my registration details and there was no barrier, so seems like that was 10 euro wasted. The room itself was tired but functional.
