I am glad that I booked this hotel for my trip to Bologna. The value for money is excellent, and the hotel's location is very convenient, especially if you are travelling by car โ there are several parking spaces near the hotel that can be reserved. The historic part of the city is within easy walking distance of the hotel.
Communication with the hotel staff was also excellent โ they responded quickly in the chat, the administrator met us and told us everything about the hotel, even staying after his working hours. Thank you!
It was a little scary to leave the cars near the road. The hotel has two normal parking spaces and two improvised ones near the rubbish bins (we got those). It wasn't very comfortable, but thank you for the opportunity to book them and park the cars near the hotel.

Nothing. Hotel with deceptive pricing and many extra charges (taxes, parking, pets). Old facilities, uncomfortable beds, and a poorly maintained bathroom: not recommended.
Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Although the initial price looks attractive, you soon realize it is full of additional charges: โฌ30 in taxes for just one night, parking is not included and costs โฌ18, and they even charge extra for pets.
The facilities donโt help either: the bathroom is old, and in the morning the shower only had a trickle of water, making it impossible to use properly. On top of that, at 8 AM they were already cleaning rooms, making a lot of noise and waking up guests. The beds are old and uncomfortable, and overall there is a clear lack of renovation and maintenance.
In short: this is not a good hotel for resting, and itโs not economical once you add up all the hidden costs. I recommend looking for other options where the price is more transparent and services are truly included.

- I booked well in advance a parking space and that was the main reason for having chosen this hotel. But when we got there we were told we could only park the first 2 nights and for the 3rd. night we would be obliged to move the car to another place. When we left it was raining and it was really not comfortable to bring the suitcases along the streets to the parking garage. That was really upsetting.

The hotel is well located in walking distance to the city center. From the bus station next to the hotel buses are running to the train station and the city center. The personell is friendly. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The breakfast is italian, thus already a positive cultural experience in the morning!
Single rooms are in my experience often not the best ones a hotel can offer. Mine was in the basement next to the elevator, with a light outside the windown shining all night (the shutters were not able to really darken the room) and the noise of the street was cleary audible with the windows closed. As an experienced single traveller I had my ear plugs etc with me and could sleep well despite all odds.

The issue may partly stem from Booking.com, which can be quite inflexible, but the receptionist could have handled the situation more proactively and with more kindness. Very clean hotel in a quiet neighbourhood away from the crowds. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, and the bus stop to the central station is just around the corner. The air conditioning was amazing and made a huge difference during our stay.

We had an accessible room and it was one of the best we have ever had.
The lift was easy to use and went to almost our front door.
The door had a key to lock and unlock which for some may be an issue.
Inside the room was immaculately clean and tidy. There was a desk, with space for a wheelchair underneath, or a normal chair (provided and light enough to move easily)
We had the room as two single beds and there was still room to manoeuvre around. The wardrobe was open fronted with shelves at lots of different heights. The mini bar was at ground level and easy to open.
The bathroom was exceptional. A roll under sink, a level shower that you could roll into, or a shower stall. There was a bidet and toilet, with grab rails. There was a second, hand held bidet for over the toilet which would make cleaning up ostomy bags etc much easier (or simply using as a bidet!)
The shower had two shower heads - one over and a hand held, with a low enough bar to access whilst seated.
Again, the bathroom was large enough to move easily in, even for two. The door was a sliding pocket door, and the lightest and easiest to move Iโve ever seen.
Genuinely one of the most accessible rooms ever.
Street front parking available at an extra cost but must be booked, alternatively there are many disabled parking spaces nearby which are free of charge for badge holders. The street is step free into the hotel.

Staff gentile, letti (tranne uno) comodi e buona pulizia.
Uno dei letti aveva il materasso ancora imballato nella plastica (scomodo e scivolava), era stato richiesto un cuscino aggiuntivo che ci avevano promesso di farcelo trovare in camera ma non รจ stato fatto; ad un secondo sollecito, dopo 10 minuti ci รจ stato consegnato in reception. Parcheggio in zona scomodo e costoso, l'hotel ha pochi posti per clienti (a pagamento a parte).

1. Parking is included on booking.com filter but a) itโs not on site and b) itโs โฌ20 for 24-hour and not free. This shouldnโt be included under parking filter and at minimum be clearly written on the page to make an informed transparent decision before booking.
2. Receptionist at checkin only spoke to the Italian guy I was with even though the booking and payment was under my name. At check out the same there was here everywhere in the lobby so we sat in the breakfast area to finish booking the hotel in the next town but seemed to be in the way.
