The apartment isn't suitable for families. For instances, my baby could not walk calmly due to the risk of falling down the stairs.
One of the bathrooms were smelly and the shower was clogged.
I felt cheated as the photos from the department showed in the booking web page, don't show the reality.

The central location of the apartment was excellent - everything within walking distance but still a quiet place. Thanks to the city of Bologna cars are not allowed in the city centre. This should be an example for other European cities!

Beautiful traditional Italian apartment with fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area. The location is unbeatable! Close to all the major attractions and great places to eat and drink. Lovely balconies with great views. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating.
The old building meant that the apartment was a little noisy with sounds from the street and around the rest of the building but it didn’t affect our stay.

The location is right in the center of Bologna, but in a quiet road. The apartment is spacious (including the bathroom), very pretty, clean and well furnished. It was very easy to check in and out, and there was a useful brochure about the neighbourhood, including restaurants, various services etc.

First, great communication by the staff. The apartment was larger than I expected. Sunny, nicely furnished with everything that I needed. The location is in the heart of the old city. Martina gave me a map and told me where I could find groceries, good restaurants, and things I should not miss in Bologna. Valerio rereserved my train to Venice when Trenitalia cancelled my trip. I had a great time and will be going back again. I walked everywhere, found some great restaurants and bakeries, took lots of pictures, and enjoyed my time immensely.
The only problem, for me, was the small shower. My shower at home is 1 x 1 ½ meters. Valerio told me that is typical for Italy, but they have larger showers in some of their other apartments and they would recommend one of those to me next time.

Our one bedroom apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. After weeks of travelling we were so happy to arrive and find a washing machine inside as well! The location is perfect for walking everywhere and the two balconies make it nice to enjoy some fresh air. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. would absolutely stay again!
Shower wasn’t great, the head could use replacing and we had some trouble with the temperature changing from hot to cold a lot.

Perfect city break location. Close to everything but set back away from the main roads. The staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment felt homely, safe and secure. We did not use the kitchen but there were basics to get by if needed. Really happy with our stay and would love to stay here again.
We were a little confused on arrival on how to get into the building. After a long day of travel, it took a while to notice the Studio Vita label by one of the buzzers. It would have been useful to mention this on the access instructions but we found it in the end and our holiday began.

Loved the separate living rooms that allowed us all some space as well as some togetherness. It was pretty and clean and quiet. Great access to shops and public transportation.
There was only one set of keys available. That made it difficult for us to go our separate ways. it also raised concerns about being able to get out of the building in case of a fire, since the hallways and front door need to be unlocked from the inside as well as from the outside. The fire codes in Italy must be different from other countries.

Missing instructions for one a/c unit - a rather noisy one in the bedroom which was difficult to put on a quiet setting. no jugs for making filter coffee in a way which wasn't the ubiquitous tiny espresso Bialietti, no bowl large enough for a mixed salad - a just a rather sad little blue plastic bowl, bare minimum amount of crockery and cutlery which didn't allow different utensils to be used for preparation and eating

Location was great, elevator a god send, beds were comfortable and everything was well-stocked.
The air conditioner in the main bedroom made pumping sounds all night so I couldn’t sleep well.
They drained it twice, but after a couple hours the noise resumed. A lot of past reviewers complaints were rectified - a cutting board and salad bowl for example. But the complaints about the noises A/C don’t appear to have been fixed.

Three of us stayed here for a week, in the maisonette.
The accommodation is on three split levels.
Our friend had the top level, which had a sofa bed in an alcove, the main sitting area (settees, table, TV), and a bathroom. He found the low ceilings around the edges a bit tricky. The bathroom on this level has a small bath with a shower connection.
Our bedroom was on the middle level, and was very nice. We didn't need to use the Aircon too much, just for a couple of hours here and there to cool the room, but not overnight. The ensuite was very nice, though the shower is a bit of a squeeze, and we are quite slim people.
The kitchen is also on the middle level, and seemed fine, but we didn't use it much.
The lower level has another handy seating space, which was useful given there were three of us.
There are views of the local rooftops from various windows, and of a couple of Bologna's towers.
The washing machine was accessed through a 'door' in the top bathroom, in a compact space, so was awkward to use. However, we weren't expecting a washing machine until we read the welcome information on the table, and our friend just needed to use it once, so not much of an issue for us.
Location was handy for most things we wanted to do, and for the station that we used most days.
Lift was useful with baggage, and coming back after a long day ?
People have mentioned issues with the keys, but we didn't find those to be a problem.
Nothing really.
It is quite expensive, but then we were paying for space and two bathrooms.
WiFi dropped now and then, but not much of an issue.

The bed is comfortable. This apartment has all the amenities that we need: stove, microwave, electric kettle etc. There is even a washer, which we didn’t use.

Perfectly convenient apartment stay in a central area of Bologna. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee and espresso maker provided. Small balcony with a view. As we were halfway through our trip, the washing machine was greatly appreciated, as was the drying rack. Room was comfortable and AC, albeit noisy, worked well. Helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities provided. Just a great overall stay and we will surely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Bologna!
A lot of gates with locks to access the place. Seemed excessive, and a potential hazard in the event of a fire.

Great spacious apartment, had everything we needed. The washing machine was fantastic to catch up on the dirty laundry. Staff were helpful and friendly. Close to the centre of the city and train station but very quiet. Would stay here again.
The number of keys required to access the room. We also don’t like shower curtains, which this apartment had. Having said this, we really enjoyed our stay in Bologna.

We loved all the facilities provided, how clean it was and lovely staff who were always very helpful. The check-in was simple and the apartment was ready even before for us. The place was spacious, great air con and kitchen/2 bathrooms(bath+shower). Washing machine came in very handy and the laundry room was warm so dried in no time. There is a lift which is super helpful since the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Would recommend and stay again (super close to the main road with shops and main piazza/towers)

The lift was tiny, old (shaky) and smelly (this is probably used by all residents living in the block so no fault of this accommodation, just something to keep in mind)

Lovely apartment in a great location. It had seemed from the photos that it was going to be a little odd and I guess it was but it was very nice and spacious. The best place to sit for me was at the window in the kitchen looking out over the rooftops and while there is not much room it was easy to bring a dining chair down. The bath was not useful as it is not only short but also only half of it is bath depth (hard to describe - would be good for children but not for an adult who wants a bath to soothe a sore back). Luckily there was an excellent Thai massage place nearby (towards the station) and that helped the back issue.
The staff were very helpful and it was easy having them in the building.
Location is perfect. 15 min walk to the railway station but right in the area for restaurants, shops churches etc
The bath! Although actually I found it fine to sit in with my feet in the deep bit and use the shower attachment.

The apartment had everything we needed including a washer which was perfect. Lots of space and very comfortable. Having an elevator was also a bonus. The location is great, with many places to eat or get a drink nearby. Easily walkable to the sites and market. Would highly recommend.
The room faces into two inner courtyards and as the building has residences there was one night when two women appeared to be arguing loudly in one of the courtyards so it woke us up in the wee hours and lasted for awhile.

The people running the apartments were very helpful. They got to know us well, as unfortunately there were a number of issues. We had booked this for three people but it really was quite problematic for us. However, the apartment was well located.
Hmmm. It was a very old apartment- normal for Bologna, but the internal setup was very problematic. We had booked it for 3 adults, the pictures showed an expansive sofa bed as the second bed, but they only made up a main bed and a very small single bed for us. It was advertised as having a washing machine- well some of the staff had no clue about that, no surprise as it was hidden in the attic that only a seven year old could actually enter. The machine was also so small that we did not dare use it anyway for fear of damaging our clothes, even if we had been able to crawl into the attic. BTW, I'm not exaggerating. The apartment included two death defying curved narrow internal staircases. None of the lamps had working bulbs. The television remote was missing and staff had to search throughout the apartment to locate it. Unfortunately we were not very happy there. It was way overpriced for what it was.

This apartment represents good value for money. Lots of space for you to spread out…2 bathrooms and a kitchen. And it’s in a good location. No problems with check in and the apartment was clean.
The bathrooms are poorly laid out. When you sit on the toilet your knees knock on the bidet. All couches are covered in tatty blankets. The sheets on the bed had a hole. And the apartment smells stale…like once upon a time smokers lived there.
It’s a great space…just in need of new furniture and decor. The bathrooms need a new layout, but understandable that is an expensive fix.

Needed better cleaning especially in the shower and kitchen. A little beat up, but I guess it gets a lot of hard use. Some basic amenities missing like a toiletrie shelf or rack in the shower and more complete kitchen. No dish towels! Kitchen table has legs that slope outward to the floor. Weird. I stubbed my toes many times. Very minimal decor. Could be a lot nicer for the money.

Really handy to have a full apartment with some space when you are travelling, this ticked all our boxes and we were very comfortable during our stay. The location was 10/10, so close to everything and we had so many great restaurants and everything we could need close by.
Bed was comfy too.
Main shower was VERY small and nowhere to put any toiletries which was difficult.
It was a bit hard to get in the building, they should clarify on the entry instructions that the reception is located inside the building and you need to press the BUZZER for Studio Vita. Luckily a local resident helped us as we were confused by a Residenza Ariosto sign on the opposite side of the street at number 9.

It was a fantastic location and they had coffee ready to make on location! Keep an eye on the other reviews of how to access reception. They’ll give you the keys to the apartment once you check in and you walk around the block with a map. Super easy to navigate but worth noting.
I think this may have been a misconception on my end but I didn’t realize I booked more of the dim lit studio stay. The shower was super small.

We didn’t get to stay in the place we booked. We were told the apartment was having plumbing problems. The apartment we were moved to was terrible. But we were told they wouldn’t charge us for the upgrade, of the bigger place. We book our accommodations carefully, the apartment given to us was nothing we would book. As we were only staying 2 nights we tried to make the best of it, as we had a tight schedule and no time to mess around with our accommodation.
The new apartment was not suited for us. The furnishings were unpleasant, old couches with blankets draped over them. It sits above a cafe/bar the noise level in the bedroom is awful, we hardly slept for the 2 nights we were there. There was no coffee maker or coffee. The check in host was late, no apologies and then ran up the stairs and waited for us with no offer to help. Not welcoming or pleasant.
