Family room size inadequate for 4 people, room was very small, decor dated and not clean. Free shuttle bus facility was often fully booked. Lack of paths and pavements leading from main road to the hotel - unsafe with children and when walking back in the evening in the dark. Car park difficult to access and no guaranteed space.

Charmig hotel with a pool in decent size and lots of sun beds. You had to wear swim caps, but that was no big deal (less hair in the pool :)
The restaurant staff where very helpful and accommodating.
Cleaning was good and they changed the towels every day.
The location was excellent with a short walking distance to Forio center, and the beach on the way.
Walking distance from FORIO PORTO - do NOT book the ferry to Ischia porto, it’s 25 min away by bus or taxi.
The beds where rock hard, and also the pillows. We spent 4 days there and it was painful.
The food was not worth the money, we had half board (breakfast + lunch OR dinner). Do not choose half board!
Breakfast was good, with both healthy and sweet options. But the lunch/dinner was not Italian food standard.
Also the restaurant for the half board was in a basement without windows and really not charming at all.

The location was good but a little tricky to walk to places due to cars on the road. Loved the pool and the great breakfast spread . The free shuttle was great but limited . Beautiful place , comfortable beds .
One gentleman who worked there was always giving us the wrong information . They canceled the happy hour party they had advertised because the singer was sick but didn’t inform anyone that it was canceled . Very unprofessional , they could have still had the party or had a backup singer . I dragged my family back for it so I was disappointed.

Bathing cap is obligatory for the pool. If you don’t have your own already you have to buy one. Ours were stolen from the balcony after one day. At the pool also additional costs for the towels. We were late for dinner with our 2 young daughters and the staff did not turn us away but very kindly accommodated us.
What a great experience .

We were not warned that several evenings in the week there would be very loud music until late at night - clearly audible from our rooms.

Found blood on bed sheet then went to put bed throw on mattress as mattresses were extremely hard and there was also blood on the throw despite it being wrapped in a plastic bag. Rooms need a refresh, towel rail in bathroom was cracked, chipped and hanging off the wall. Stains and cobwebs on the lampshade. Booking stated a large bed but it was 2 small single beds (not even pushed together).

Pool area was nice and location good as long as one is prepared for the heavy traffic on the road where the hotel is located (which is a bit challenging at the part with no pavement). Very friendly staff.

Lovely friendly staff, was great to relax in the hot tub in the evening and sunbathe around the beautiful pool. Lovely and quiet when I went in May. Fan was provided with no issue when I asked, as room was hot without!
Forgot to take a swimming cap so couldn't get into the pool, wasn't worth buying one for one dip. Bizarre rule not encountered elsewhere.

All staff are super friendly, attentive & knowledgeable about the island. Happy to give tips & recommendations of where to go & what to see.
Dinner was exceptional for the half board price. Lovely little restaurant with a wall full of fresh delicious anti pasti for start along with a salad bar, breads & kids food table. A choice of 4 pasta 1st course & then choice of 4 meat/veg 2nd course, plus dessert or ice cream. These are chosen at breakfast by you, so they are prepared fresh to order
We were recommended a beautiful local wine from the island which they will keep for you & have the rest of the bottle chilled & ready at your table the following night for dinner
A walk to the beach & harbour down a busy road. There is a bus shuttle that we didn’t use as we hired a scooter instead for €30 per day. Supermarket 5min walk for drinks & snacks
The hotel arranged a transfer from Naples airport to the hotel via private taxi, ferry & mini bus at €50 each which made the journey stress free & very enjoyable
They helped us book the hydrofoil on the way home with a local taxi to the port & advised us on the Alibus to the airport from Naples once we’d enjoyed our day sightseeing at mount Vesuvius & Pompeii
I cannot recommend this hotel enough if it’s a personal family feel you like from a holiday. It’s small enough, so all staff know you & are happy to chat or help in any way

I was looking forward for meal because I read a lot of possitive reactions especially for breakfast but I was dissappointed.. there were mainly lot of sweet options but the croissants weren't fresh, they were mostly dry and hard to chew. The dinner for me was too heavy and negative was that the drinks weren't included. In the pool you have to wear cap.. i didn't read about it before, I would appreciate that information in advance, so I can bring one.

The only positive thing was the staff. Almost everyone was super friendly and helpful, and they did their best to accommodate us.
First of all, the cleanliness was lacking. Although housekeeping came daily and replaced the towels, most of the towels were stained. The rooms feel tired and in need of renovation.
To make matters worse, on our last evening, there was no hot water available.
Secondly, the food at the buffet was disappointing. By the end of our stay, I was afraid to eat it. It seemed like the same vegetables and preserves were reused for both lunch and dinner, and possibly even the next day. On several occasions, the tomatoes and zucchini were spoiled and clearly inedible. With temperatures at 36°C outside and only slightly cooler inside the dining room, it's obvious that without proper refrigeration, food spoils quickly—within a few hours at most—and should not be reused the next day.
This situation actually spoiled our vacation. We had full board but were constantly worried about what was safe to eat.

The boss at the breakfast was rather rude towards me, maybe he didn't simphatize with me, but as a professional he can't afford this. And to add he was very loud all the time with the staff as well. I believe he is very good at his job, but, having been many hotels I have never experienced this.

I booked a weekend at this hotel because we were looking for a relaxing stay. We paid a significant amount for a half-board package to avoid the hassle of finding places to eat. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing; the portions were very small, and the quality of the dinner was poor. The only decent option was the antipasti buffet, but even then, it was better to stick with the raw vegetables.
The room was a complete disappointment. It had an uncomfortable foldable bed that left my teenager waking up with back pain. The bathroom was even worse, with a lot of mold in the shower. I took pictures because, for the price we paid, you would expect a much better standard of accommodation. The furniture seemed outdated, probably from the 1980s, and the mold in the bathroom was disgusting. There was also mold in the indoor pool area.
The hotel has far too many restrictions. The outdoor pool closes at 7 PM, even in the summer heat when you need to cool down the most. You can’t swim after 7 PM because the pool closes, so your only option is to walk to the beach. However, the road to the beach is dangerous, and the free shuttle service doesn’t run at that time. Dinner is only served from 8 to 9 PM.
This place feels more like a glorified campsite than a hotel, with high prices that falsely suggest quality. There's not even an umbrella service on the beach. It was a complete rip-off. We spent nearly €1000 for two nights, and for that price, there are much better options available.

It was a bit far to get to the center of Forio and Bus and other transport was not so reliable. You needed to use a bath cap in the swimming pools. Most if the staff were nice, but some where not very friendly.

Our room was connected to another family’s, and we could hear them flushing the toilet and on the phone each night. Their lights from their room made it hard for us to sleep. Extremely run down and dirty rooms. The pool was also run down and full of chlorine. The breakfast service was average. Credit to the lovely receptionist - she credited us for our massages as compensation for our below average stay. However - the location isn’t ideal. Very dangerous road to walk to the beach, or you have to pay for a taxi. The ‘free transfer service’ was always booked out when we asked for it. Look for something else if you’re planning on staying on the island.

Our twin room had an extra sofa bed for which there was not enough room. The room was extremely camped and they would not change it. The accommodation building was very clinical and cold looking. The food was unbelievably BAD. We felt we were in a camp. Rushed meals, welcome cocktail that turned out to be fruit juice, there was no indication as to cost of lunch or dinner. If you wanted an egg for breakfast it wasn’t available. It felt like a bad cafeteria and we ended up sending the food back and didn’t eat dinner there again. Unfortunately there is nothing in close proximity so you are really caught.
Definitely very overpriced. Never had such a bad experience for a relatively high priced accommodation.

Clean and clear pool with an amazing view of the mountains, great location in Forio, just a few minutes walk from the beach and Forio center with lots of restaurants around.
Breakfast was reach with many options, the stuff was kind and offered activities in the Island.
The bank bed was inconvenient for the kids, they complained it had stains on the bed sheets and mattress weren’t comfortable.
Walls are very thin so you can hear the next room neighbors conversations loud and clear:).

Beautiful resort on the island with friendly staff and plenty to offer without needing to leave. If you want to explore the island, there is a shuttle, but you can also walk to the beach or down to Forio.
One thing to note if you walk to Forio, there aren't any sidewalks. This isn't a reflection on the resort, but something to know if you do decide to walk. Everyone just walks down the side of the road.

Everything truly amazing. The hotel exceeded our expectations, breakfast had a variety of choices, outdoor pool great! The only morning that rained we stayed in the indoor pool (with sauna) in the same building as our room and let me tell you, it saved our day! The beach is 5 min walk (no stairs or transportation), sup[ermarket 4 min away, exceptional pizza place right outside the premise.

The grounds of the hotel are in a beautiful tropical garden setting with a fabulous pool with the best view of the Ischia mountain from your sun lounger. There was an indoor thermal pool and sauna and massage spa service. The customer service was friendly and thorough. They helped us navigate the island and book another night when our trip to Spain was canceled abruptly. The free shuttle took us to the nearby beaches and lovely town of Forio. The Ischia bus stop is also in front of the hotel and easily takes you all over the island and to and from the ferry. The buffet breakfast and dinner was delicious. The room was a bit small with a sofa bed that transformed into a bunk bed and a large outdoor patio with multiple seating area.
The air conditioning was weak and not adjustable, making the room only slightly cool. Body soap pumps were provided, but no hair shampoo or conditioner. You can walk to the nearby beaches, but there are no sidewalks. You share the road with autos, buses and scooters who do stop for pedestrians. It’s best to take the best or the free shuttle. Also, confirm with the taxi driver the hotel calls the price quoted because we were over charged 15 extra euro to the ferry. The driver had on the meter and we didn’t confirm the price beforehand.

The location is good altho you cant really walk to the beach as there is no sidewalk and youre dependent on their shuttle.
It is not a 4 star - more like a 3. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated. They give you 1 shower towel and when i inquired about more ithe staff looked at me like i was from Mars. Really not a 4 star in any way. There is some sort of marketing gimmick going on on this page with the photos and also it flashes a very high price and makes you think youre getting a deal at 90% off.

Good value for what we pay,there's on going renovation but it didn't give any noise to us,room is basic bed were bit small for 2 people, it has a pool and jacuzzi but we haven't had time to use their facilities as we only sleep there for 1 night.
