The resort is beautiful. My family enjoyed the rocky beach and taking the boat service to see Siracusa. I staff was kind and friendly.
Our room was upgraded to a suite to accommodate my family of 4 which was nice for the hotel to do. Although the suite was a good size the setup was a little odd. There was no door or closure on the bathroom which made it very awkward for privacy. My family and I was bit by several mosquitoes while in the suite for the first few minutes. Cost of food and drinks was astronomical plus added additional fees to be delivered to the beach, when there are no options to pick any food or drinks up and take away. As a 5 star property I would expect this to be a courtesy and part of 5 star level service.

Beautiful location. The hotel grounds were impeccable. The view of Ortigia from the hotel was amazing. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The beach and ocean areas were perfection. The rooms were definitely updated and everything you would need was provided.
The Sicilian BBQ wasn't the greatest for Italian food. The pasta was nothing special, but the atmosphere made up for the lack in flavor in the dinner. The breakfast options were fantastic.

The staff were extremely helpful attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent and the choice at breakfast was impressive.
The resort is located on a headland across the bay from Siracusa. There is a selection of pool, beach and rocky outcrops where you can relax and SISK up the Sun.
It is difficult trying to get the balance between creating a relaxing environment whilst providing adequate entertainment for guests.
Given the resorts relative isolation from the town of Siracusa, more entertainment should be provided in the form of music at the pool and entertainment at dinner in the evenings. More guests would have stayed in the resort rather than venture to Siracusa most days.

This resort is a class act. The landscaping was exceptional. Breakfast was very good with the option to sit outside. We enjoyed the private beach with lifeguard on duty. It’s sandy and wonderful ! They upgraded us to the most extraordinary villas with impeccable quality throughout and our own lap pools! It was a slice of heaven for 4 nights and we could park our car right outside the gate. We had a few problems with our suite, the drains smelt really bad, there was no hot water on one day, there was some confusion over payment on the boat taxi and the taxi to the train station arrived 20 mins late......luckily we did make the train so all good and they did resolve the other issues. The boat skipper and concierge were a little standoffish which made you feel a bit unwelcome.
It's rare I complain at a hotel but here I felt I had to pull them up on something every day which isn't a nice way to spend a holiday. I think we were just a little unlucky, but given the cost of the hotel, you don't expect to have a room smelling of drains with no hot water.
It's very expensive to eat at the resort but we expected that.

Dirty iron that left a stain when steamed. Hotel dry cleaned the shirt but it is not acceptable for hotel of this level. Size of iron board delivered to room was also super tiny and not convenient at all. Cucumber salad for 23 euros could have been a bit more than just sliced cucumber XD and corona mask signs could have been removed after pandemic to avoid guests having unsafe feeling for no reason

Minareto staff and management ensured my sister and I had an incredible stay. Everything was incredibly beautiful from the rooms to the views to the gold beach. We were originally booked for 3 rooms, but our parents could not join at the last minute, and Minareto staff upgraded our non-refundable rooms when they did not have to. We celebrated a birthday and they sent a bottle of champagne and the restaurant sang a song with a cake. It was all exceptional and we appreciated every minute.
The restaurant had some great dishes and some less great dishes. Some refinement would be helpful. The lunch menu might be expanded for variety.

Terrace overlooking Ortigia, pool, beach were lovely places to spend time. The resort was a good size, easy to walk around to all parts. Food and drink could be delivered to you wherever you were on the resort, this was a highlight. Room was lovely, spacious, complimentary toiletries, modern bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast was extremely good.
Drones flying around during breakfast on the terrace, and whilst lounging on the beach; very disturbing noise. Restaurant had a very limited menu at night, and was very poor value for money. Coffee served at breakfast was low quality. Room service menu was very limited at night. I would not bring children as the menu was unsuitable for them in the evening. They did not give receipts when ordering food, and the final bill was not itemised, so it's hard to know if we have been charged correctly.

Nice view, friendly staff, quite nice rooms. The rocky beach was accessible with difficulty since rocks were very slippery. The restaurant had very nice tastes, wine catalogue was broad but expensive. Breakfast had a lot of tasty choices.

Location, stunning view, all sunbathing locations are nice, as well as the sandy one in a bay as the rocks with a view.
Swimming pool and a sitting area on top of the sea as if you’re on a cruise ship.
Room/beach and all around service of food and drinks is quick and handy, the quality very good.
The interior decoration is a bit old fashioned, upholstery is not the ideal decor for the seaside.
A bit disappointing for a *****star luxury
that there is not a complimentary water supply in the rooms

This property was beautifully situated in a remote area with stunning views and the water taxi made it convenient to get to Siracusa and Ortigia.
Felt a little stranded. Only one restaurant, limited menu— very expensive and no alternatives for a quick inexpensive snack. Also it didn’t have a gift shop and no local place to pick up amenities.

The hotel was generous to upgrade us to an extremely comfortable suite. We very much enjoyed the decor and space of the room, the choice of 3 different swimming areas and the excellent breakfasts overlooking the sea. The whole environment has been beautifully planted with olive trees and exotic cactus plants. It was a relaxing and indulgent break. Greatly appreciated.
Rather bland architectural features of main building and restaurant. Very expensive restaurant and - apart from the wonderful (but pricey) sea taxi - a tad remote from the action and sights of Ortigia.
Certainly not as eco as it might like to think of itself.

Where to start? Whether we visited the "sandy beach", "rocky beach", pool or took the private boat over to Ortigia it was simply an amazing time. Truly a world class five star resort.
For such an amazing property, the food at dinner could have been better. Breakfast was truly amazing but dinner was lacking and the service was really off.

Location, service and staff were amazing. We had just a 5 day stay for our anniversary, and they made it truly wonderful.
Air conditioning in the room was poor and no drinking water provided in the rooms (apart from the first day) had to use the mini bar or room service and that was chargeable

Good location far from crowds (but need a car), exclusive access to one beaches (sandy and on the rocks), great views of Ortigia, fabulous breakfast (with some negatives below), polite hotel team.
Several things to improve:
1) please do not put food from yesterday for breakfast! The carrots, in which flies start to live, or croissants, which are not fresh anymore. This is just obvious and ruins all breakfast experience. For carrots just do not put too much but better fresh every day. For croissants it goes without saying that fresh croissants are today’s!!!
2) Massage experience was terrible. It is very cold in the room. The massage itself is not massage, just some gliding movements. Not worth anything. I couldn’t wait when it would finish.
3) it is noisy in the morning. The golf cars going and personnel talking. Please wait until at least 08.00 for work Start.
4) very bad sound isolation in the rooms via bathrooms. If the bathroom door is open you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms.
5) no railguards in the rocky beach. It is very dangerous especially for children…

staff was really nice.
very small sand beach and shared with locals which is not a problem for me but for them as their land was taken by this private hotel; breakfast was really a disgrace, for such a nice place to eat 9 days same things is not nice; a little noisy , all the time works around; a little limited for the wellness part; some cleaners were ok but other not really - missed to provide water, clean some parts that were obiously dirty...the sand beach also very narrow and you simply cannot stay there because the sea takes over by the midle of the day
