Just right off the university area and the Galleria dell'Accademia, but very quiet and picturesque positioning. Very easy check in and payment. Offers breakfast (but didn't try). Great AC.
The locks on the doors are from the original house (basically a rectangle perpendicular to the key pole), which doesn't make the rooms especially safe for valuables or if you are alone.

The hotel was old-fashioned, but clean and tidy. The guy who works there provides 100% executional service :) the location was quite, but close to the streets where night-life is active. During breakfast time whole hotel smells sweet :)
Maybe only the room locks could be newer as it is difficult to unlock/lock the room and shower curtains were stained- but neither of them was that a very problem.

I liked the old Venetian look of the room and it’s size. Cupboards were huge as were the bathrooms. Only a full length mirror was missing. The caretaker was particularly helpful and friendly ( Mr Mahindra)
Breakfast could have more options like boiled eggs or some savoury dishes to choose from. Everything was sweet( and delicious) but some people find it difficult to start their day with heaps of sugar?

Kamal the bnb manager was the nicest man. He was so helpful and pleasant . He couldn't do enough for us. Matteo the owner is lucky to have him working there. We would highly recommend staying there.

Great city centre location which suited us perfectly, close to everything. Lovely staff, easy check in, nice continental breakfast. Air conditioning was great as was very hot. Overall good value for such a location.
Room is a looking a little tired, but perfectly fine for a short stay and clean. No access to courtyard just to breakfast room on entrance downstairs. Bathroom updated with powerful shower, really good.

The location was great, a short walk to all the major attractions, bars and restaurants. The host was very friendly and accommodating - asked us each day if we would like our room clean and greeted us every morning with a smile and Bonjourno! Fresh croissants for breakfast each morning was a bonus!
The room was small and basic, but ok for a few nights stay. A kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been appreciated. I thought we would have a room with a balcony however our view was straight into a neighbour's window...

The owner and the staff were super nice and very warm. Apartment was clean, and in a great location. For the amount of money spent, it was definitely worth the money. They also let us keep the luggage there until our departure to the airport.
Room was too small, with a view of a wall. Breakfast was only pastries, but very nice with coffee of you're choice. Also juice and yogurt was available.

We stayed at the end of April and they told us they did not use air conditioning until May/summer. It was pretty stuffy in the room without this, but they did provide a fan for us and with the window open it was comfortable. I just felt this discrepancy should have been more clearly communicated.

When we first arrived at the property there was no answer on the bell (we had stated our arrival time on booking.com). As our phones didn't work due to roaming we had no way of contacting the hotel. We had to stop a stranger and use their phone to call them. The number that is on booking.com was incorrect but we eventually found another number. When we got hold of someone we were given the code and told our key was on the desk.
When we got to the room the first thing we noticed was there were over 10 mosquitos flying around. There is clearly an issue in the hotel as they are all over the walls in the hall and in the breakfast room.
Breakfast is very strange, it's a little bit morbid too. There's no music, everyone is sat in silence as you are watched over by the gentlemen who serves you. You are given a basket of 2 bread rolls and 4 croissants and that's it for hot food and a coffee. There is then a cupboard with a selection of sweet foods. Cakes, biscuits etc. It feels very rationed. It wouldn't be hard to just have a juice machine that you can hell yourself or a coffee machine. I also don't think it can be called a breakfast. We have travelled all over Italy and the stuff that is offered for 'breakfast' usually just comes in the room for free anyway. It is the only hotel that we've stayed in that you aren't given any water. Very very odd.

Location was nice. Easy short walk to many restaurants and shopping.
Rock hard bed. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. I had read another review from someone saying when they complained of the uncomfortable beds that they were told that the property was replacing their mattresses. I trusted that review. We asked if we could change rooms for a better mattress and we were told that the mattresses were all the same. SO apparently they lied, and never replaced their mattresses. We could not sleep, 2 nights stay. The second night we asked for extra pillows. I tried sleeping on them horizontally. Didn’t work great. Epic fail with this hotel.
Also, we were lucky to arrive in the day time, as there was no signage. A tiny name plate on the door. The pin code didn’t work. You can only enter with a key. Lucky he answered my phone call and was there within 1 min. (They operate 2 properties). I read of others arriving late at night. It would be impossible to find without google maps. Better hope you have service.
Breakfast was packaged products. Packaged toast. They did bake some fresh croissants, but we wanted to go have a REAL breakfast elsewhere.
ALSO, I kept the windows shut, yet killed 5 mosquitoes in our room.
ALSO, no curtain for bathroom, so neighbor can see DIRECTLY into your bathroom! I felt very uncomfortable knowing a peeping Tom could be watching. (The lower half of the HUGE window did have a “curtain” but it was a linen type decorative see through fabric. USELESS, especially with a light on.

Clean, and in a great location. Matteo had some amazing recommendations for restaurants. The meals we had there were some of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth!
There was a mix up with the booking and I got overcharged. Originally I was planning on three nights, but we changed it to two with the Owner’s approval. I still got charged for three nights, and I had to file a dispute with my bank to get it back. This was more a problem with booking.com and not the business Owner and property.

The location is great, the room was very clean and comfortable. I didn't meet anyone at the hotel, but Matteo answered my messages via WhatsApp very fast, and he was very kind.

Ca' Turelli is a small hotel, it's nothing fancy but it's very welcoming and we had a great experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our needs e.g. check in time, luggage storage, etc. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfasts were great, and it's in a great location close to the grand canal and a square with lots of restaurants. Highly recommended!
A few very minor things - it would have been nice to have a kettle and cups provided in our room, but we asked the staff and we were able to use the kettle in the breakfast room. A second chair in our room would have been good, and clearer information about paying the city tax would also have been helpful!

The location was excellent. Central but tucked away so it was quiet. I could just come and go as I pleased and it suited me perfectly. It was close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops and sandwich shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were spacious.
The breakfast could have been better. It was a yogurt and then mostly sweet things - croissant, cakes, biscuits, bread roll. It would have been nice to have something savoury - cheese, sliced meats, some fruit. I don't think they have cooking facilities so I think they are limited in what they can offer.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ca’ Turelli! Firstly, great location - Accademia bridge and Gallerie dell'Accademia 5 min walk, campo Santa Margarita also a 5 min walk! Also a great shawarma & kebab & pizza (Toletta & Halal) place a 3 min walk. It was clean, lots of towels, anti mosquito electric spray, okay WiFi speed. The smell of the warm brioches in the morning was magical! Friendly staff member warmed them up every morning for us and made good coffee too - thank you! Check in and check out was quick and everything on time. Overall no issues. The only thing we can mention is that the building is quite old - as all of them in Venice are - so you can hear the neighbours if they are noisy. Out neighbours were nice and quiet so we slept fine.

We unfortunately had to cut our 2-night stay short because of an emergency, so we basically slept & left at dawn. The room was clean & had everything we needed (except a mini fridge). Cute dining room downstairs for breakfast, (but we missed out on that).
I chose the property because we were traveling without a car & it seemed close to the places we wanted to see. It turned out to be incredibly difficult to find via Google Maps. We ended up asking a stranger on the street who actually knew the host & called him to help us get there.
