The staff was very helpful and kind. Note to everybody: japanese small double bed can not be comfortably used by two europeans, unless they are very, like, very slim. And the bed measurements in inches are greatly confusing, especially since Japan does use metric system, same as most of the world. We were switched to another room, no problem, and the rest of our stay was all in all pleasant.

Good spot if you plan to stay in Osaka for a several days. Our apartment was big by Japanese standards and had kitchen with full size refrigerator, teapot, microwave, stove and even small grill. Having your own washing machine is very convenient, too. The location is good: it is about 10 minute walk to the train lines for Kyoto and Nara. Osaka Castle is also nearby.

Clean and really spacious room, small kitchen including e.g. microwave, fridge and cutlery. The location is absolutely top-notch, a few blocks from Osaka Castle and convenient subway connections from Shin-Osaka and Namba stations (from our perspective the most important train stations, e.g. for the Shinkansen and airport train). Friendly and flexible staff, e.g. regarding cleaning and changing towels. Considering the central location near busy streets, we were positively surprised by the peace and silence.

Nothing major to complain about. ? Small improvements could include, for example, more hangers for towels and a little more storage space for clothes and other things.

It was spacious and felt more like an apartment rather than a hotel as there was stovetop/cooking facilities. Station was close and convenient

It wasn’t the best in terms of cleanliness, the bedsheets were uncomfortable and made us itch. The pillows were awful. Staff seemed the least kind here as well, upon check in basically gave us no instruction in how to get to room and just the keys.

Large room, great comfortable bed, amazing location. The room was very good for 2 people, the kitchen had everything we needed and everything wad almost perfect with the room. Additionally, very central location 5 minutes from the tanimachi-4-chome subway station.

The door arches were too low, and we kept banging our heads every time we passed through them. Also, the hotel's staff leaves a lot to be desired. One staff member was extremely passive aggressive and made us feel a little uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great.

The good: The space was huge. It was clean and exactly what I was looking for. It was nice to have a big enough fridge for things like water bottles and the washing machine worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the linens were immaculate. I was in a corner room, and there were balconies on both sides, one of them then entire length of the bedroom and living/dining area. It was warming into spring while I was there, and it was lovely to open the multiple sliding doors for the fresh air. Convenient location to get everywhere I wanted to go - Osaka Castle, the aquarium, Dotonburi & Namba, etc. The bad: It's outdated. Sinks leaked and the bathroom smelled like an ashtray, there were marks (burns?) on the carpet, and things of that sort. There are only 4 hangars and no drying line, so I had to get creative hanging my laundry to dry (it was breezy, so I didn't want to chance laying it over the balcony railing and having something blow into the street below.) Overall, I would stay there again.

The location is about 5 mins walk from Osaka castle. Around 10 mins walk from subway station. The room is clean and equipped with a small cooking area. The building itself is a bit old though. Restaurants are within walking distance. There is a fire station nearby and sometimes the alarm is loud.

The property is quite old, and the only reason I was forced to stay was because the booking was non-refundable and even then, I cancelled my last night’s booking in favour of another place that opened up its booking. The place wasn’t clean either and I wanted to leave very badly. Overall disappointed.

Great location. Close to Tanimachi station. There is a Boulangerie & Cafe Gout i would highly recommend for breakfast. Hotel itself is a little aged. The room we had must had been an apartment before, and rooms were section off with sliding doors. There is a washer. But i would advice you to take your cloths down to the laundry room to dry them. There are kitchen essential so you can cook at site. Good size French style fridge with freezer We were totally surprised as there was a rice cooker! So just like the pictures, the room is separated into bedrooms, living/dining room, and bathroom There is also a market nearby and they have great bentos!

We stayed at this hotel mainly for its convenient location in the business district, close to the Chuo Line, which made getting around easy. We booked the room with four beds and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was—even had a balcony, which was a nice touch.

That said, the hotel is definitely older and shows its age. The room felt very “well used,” with visible stains on the carpet and walls. The microwave wasn’t very clean either. There’s no daily room cleaning, but they do provide fresh towels if you ask. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with lots of space, this could be a good fit. Just don’t expect anything stylish or especially clean. In hindsight, I think I would’ve preferred to spend a bit more for a more updated and comfortable space.

Location was 10/10 for such as low price. Hotel standard, very big rooms, comfortable for everybody. They have porch on some rooms, big dining tables. There are 2 hotel cards, so you can split up with the gang if needed. You can get a lot of amenities, like toothbrush, toners, shaving cream, shavers, etc for free at the lobby. The staff knows multiple languages, it is very tourist friendly. We get to check in early at 11 a.m. as the room was ready, and do not need to wait until 3 p.m. Would definitely choose this place to stay again.

Room we got was spacious and has a bit of an old japanese style room which we like. We like how the toilet and bath are separate. On the location it is quite a walk from the nearest station exit and only stairs is available in the exit. We had a had time with our luggage since we didnt know that their isnt an elevator nearby our exit.

I like the fact that the hotel is on a side street, so less noise. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with a nice kitchen. The mattresses are firm and the pillows are great.

The bathtub/shower room was clearly only 1/2 modified from the original apartment one. It was impossible to run a bath without the water getting all over the floor. (The faucet for filling the bath didn't quite fit over the bath.) There is no shower curtain, so the floor gets soaking wet when you take a shower and the shower head is not over the bath, it is between the bath and the sink. Very awkward. And the sink was also in there, so if you want to brush your teeth, you get your feet wet. Or you wear slippers and risk slipping on a wet floor. These are apartments that have been turned into hotel rooms. But they need to put more electrical outlets by the beds, a night table between the beds, and fix the bathtub room. I have stayed at this property before - a single room - and had none of these problems. So it is not a hotel-wide issue.

The location was good, close enough to the trains. The room is spacious which is always rare in Japanese cities. Free Wi-Fi. My room had a balcony, which was nice when you wanted to sit outside and relax.

The pillows are a bit uncomfortable and the walls, at least in my room, had markings that needed to be cleaned. Not a lot of outlets if you have multiple devices.
