Rather dated hotel. We planned to eat in the in-house restaurant, as we arrived rather late, but it smelled strongly of mould, so we went to the supermarket next door and ate in our room. There was an unexpected extra charge for car parking.

This was my second visit, the hotel is in a great location, minutes walk to bars, restaurants, theatre and water front. Easy check in/out etc.
A great hotel and I will for sure book for a third time in the future.
Didn't try the restaurant as the menu didn't appeal to us. My only complaints would be the mini fridge in the room, no wonder it wasn't running when we arrived, the sound kept me awake half the first night. Also maybe try to soundproof the adjoining doors, we had what sounded like younger men next door the second night and could hear EVERY SINGLE WORD they said lol.

The entrance was lovely, the staff were very nice and the breakfast was good.
The room was old and unkept, not very clean and the shower rusted with mould on the shower curtain. The toilet flushed right to the top of the toilet bowl that we thought it was going to over flow. The bedding had no duvet cover on, just the inner, which was very weird with a fitted sheet and flat sheet underneath which at least made it somewhat comfortable. The bedding was clean at least so that was a bonus but it was just overall not a great experience. I expected more for what we paid to stay here. While the staff were lovely and entrance was good, I feel that the room itself was incredibly disappointing.

The light outside kept the curtains from making the room too dark, which made it hard to sleep at night. You could hear the noise from the room next door, plus the sound of the traffic and the wind. One of the window latches was broken, but even if I tightened it, the wind sound still managed to get in. The feky dated which made it teel overpriced - you pag for the location
