Reception staff was extremely unfriendly made us wait an hour for our room even though check in was 3pm and we got there at 2:50pm. They didn’t explain why our room was not available yet and just kept telling us to wait another 10 more mins each time we asked and looked upset towards us when we were the ones made to wait.
Indian receptionist didn’t even look at our faces when telling us the room wasn’t ready and left the reception area leaving us alone to wonder what’s happening.
They didn’t explain how the key cards work for elevator and room properly and we had to ask other visitors on how they work.
When we finally got to our room our beds were arranged as queen bed when we had booked our rooms as two single beds and had to call reception to rearrange our bed losing more time that we could have spent in the room once again.
We were not told the different exits out the hotel and had to find our own shortcuts into the city and discovered there had been a main shortcut into the city by exploring it ourselves this lack of information wasted our time even more.
We were not told that the 50 dollar deposit would take 3 to 5 days to get back to us as the Indian receptionist had told us we would get it back that afternoon we checked out. We had to call the receptionist yet again to find out more information.
The staffs attitude was the worst part of this stay we felt extremely unwelcome as soon as we arrived and while waiting for our room many staff passed us by and not one of them acknowledged our presence ignoring us when asking what was happening to our room. Everyone we talked to would barely look up from their computer and looked extremely unwilling to help us out.
Very unfriendly staff and appalling service will not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay.

The property is located in the CBD amidst other high rise buildings two blocks from the waterfront and a 5 minute walk from the cable car.
The room was comfortable and clean, as one would expect from the Travelodge brand. The kitchenette was reasonably well- equipped.
The elevators are operated by a security-card system which was not always reliable. I and many other guests found it frustrating at first.

It was lovely being up so high.
Have the same dirty dishes we had to use in the time we were there- 4 days. We didn't realize we had to bring our own dish wash liquid?! The beds had all odd blankets- 2x single beds, one had a thick queen duvet folded in half, the other 2 Xtra sheets with a single woollen blanket.
No Netflix on the TV that didn't only had a couple of channels working. We were in room 2103.
Apart from that is was ok.
