Wi-Fi was kind of Schrdinger's cat: sometimes existent and non-existent at the same time ^.^ But from another point of view, it has made me finish the book I'd forgotten about :) Overall, other pros compensate for it, not a big deal

The breakfast is really amazing and the staff super friendly, they will help you with whatever you need. There is one of the special Peruvian dogs around, he isn't super cuddly but still really cute to look at.
If you want, you can cook as well, everything required is there in the kitchen.

The amazing people I met. The dog. The eoom sizes. The manager was nice and doing an effort so tht your stay is good and you are okay. A couple of staff were also very nice.
I witnessed somerhing that really changed my vidw on my stay. I met a German couple that asked to leave the backpacks in the hostel as their bus was at 22:30 at night. She behaved like she was making them a huge favour, her attitude and face. Then they werent able to use the reception aitting area. When they asked during the afternoon if they could use the toilet they were said no! The toilet! They needed a pee! And you know who did this? THE ARGENTINIAN OWNER OF THE HOSTEL. I was shocked. They were treated like if they had done something wrong. Why would you do that?! The hostels around the world have places to keep your backpack if you check out early and they dont make you feel like they are making you the favour of your life. Also, around the World, you can access the receltion and toolets and lounges if needed to check out but still stay around. Shocking and definitely changed my view of the vibe of the place.
Also, the ahowers need new shower heads, you can see they are minging.
Lockers outside the room are very unconfortable.

The breakfast is amazing, I stayed in a 4 bedroom sharing the bedroom. The locker are comfy to have you things there, remember to bring a lock. The social reas are comfy, the internet works very well.

Good Location and lots of services they offer on there website. The pickup from the airport was really helpful.
Staff isn't that much friendly more kind of uninterested. Even the Dog barks on nearly everyone.
Would be nice if they invest some money for repairing the bathrooms and toilets. Also the rooms would need some love and renovating.

The hostel has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. There's a really nice open space and communal area where you can eat/drink/chill and it's a quiet hostel which is good given it's location.
The bed was short (I'm 188cm) and wasn't good at all, me and my partner both had bad backs afterwards. The pillows and mattress definitely need updating. We also found the room very small. Understandably this is the healing dog hostel, so there is going to be a dog there. I love dogs so didn't have a problem with this but he's not a dog who likes to be touched by strangers and at night seems a bit anxious so barks a lot. He has the run of the hostel too.

The breakfast is awesome and the big kitchen is great for cooking. The location is the best thing as you can walk to the beach, walk to the mall and walk to Kennedy park etc, great! The staff were kind to us and even dried our surf gear!
They were doing some DIY work when we were there so the courtyard was a bit crowded with bits and dust but we understand they have to do the work. You cant use the kitchen during the morning or after 9pm, again we understand but thought future guests might want to know. The room was quite hot and small compared to other hostels we have stayed in South America.

Nice location, walkable to Kennedy Park and central Miraflores. The outdoor setting is very nice. Love the aesthetic of the breezeway and ability to converse with other travelers.
I booked a private room with a full bed. The first 2 nights I slept in a room with 3 bunk beds (still private to me), the second 2 nights I slept in a room with a bunk bed (also still private). I never saw the room that I actually booked and that was disappointing; they never made any mention of the fact that they couldn't offer the actual room that I booked. The bunk beds are VERY soft if you're into that. The staff is mediocre friendly and seem somewhat easily off-put when you need something. Not that it's necessary as you're in a spanish speaking country but the staff's ability to speak some English would be nice. One of the women repeatedly asked me to leave the kitchen which was fair because I was cooking past hours (I didnt realize how late it was the first night I arrived), but she was telling me in Spanish and I didnt understand what she was requesting.

The general decorations and vibe were pretty good. Breakfast was tasty and pretty.
I reserved a private room but was given a dorm room with 6 beds to myself with no chairs or anything else. Wifi was sketchy in some areas. I often couldn't stream a video at a reasonable quality. I got back just after 11 and there wasn't anyone to let me in for a bit. I was not given the expectation that would be the case. Room had a fan but none of the plugs by the window were working so room was pretty hot.

This place has such big potential to be an extremely cozy hostel but the staff was just so utterly disappointing. From the moment we arrived they let us wait in front of the gate till they finished their chit chat before buzzing open the door, when we checked in there were zero smiles or anything. That just immediately sets the tone for your stay. Which is so sad because the hostels looks and feels great, intimate and cozy.

There is a weird and aggressive dog that would run run toward me and bark at me like crazy. Once I wanted to get outside my room and could not because of the dog.
Music blasting in the hall all day and getting in the room - not possible to get sleep after overnight transport.
Drunk backpackers getting back at 3AM and talking super loud next to the room. Zero soundproofing.
Spiritual music blasting in the hall (and so the inside the room) in the morning.
After finally falling asleep, staff walked in my room (it was a private room) and waking me up. I askedwhy are you here, Im sleeping and he replied one moment and kept doing whatever (I dont know what) he was doing. My privacy was shamelessly violated.
I booked at the place thinking it would be a good place to rest after an overnight transportation. It turned out to be a nightmare. I was the most expensive stay in my whole trip in Peru and the only bad experience I had.
