We can't recommend it enough. It's like home from home and we miss being there and will be visiting again!

The apartment was very spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. It's a few minutes walk from the beach, and close to shops, restaurants etc. It was lovely and quiet in the hotel. The staff are AMAZING! Jose could not have been more charming and helpful He went above and beyond. His English is perfect. He is a real star! The little resort is very nice - lovely beach, plenty of places to eat and drink, just the right balance for us between lively and peaceful.

Check-in at 3, but they have a room where you can change, leave your luggage and go to the beach or chill near the pool while waiting.
Very quiet, calm and chill vibe near the pool (no drunk folks/loud parties).
Snack bar available for some food/snacks and beer (didn't check on hard liquors, probably available as well)
They have pool table (costs 2 euro/game).
Nice area, some nice bars and restaurants in the area. 10 mins walking to the beach (through shortcut via small stones along the shore, which may not be cool for elder people). 15-20 mins walking normal way through the stairs.
Wifi is good, shampoo and shower gel provided in the room.

The apartments were in an excellent location, with restaurants and shops very close by. There is also a lovely beach (not towards the town center), which we preferred as it was quieter.
The apartment itself was lovely. We made the most of the kitchen for breakfast. It helped that they had all the pots, pans, and cutlery that you could need. It would have been nice if they supplied basics like, salt, pepper and oil, but overall was very happy.
Room was super clean and our view from the balcony was lovely, overlooking the pool and the view towards the sea. It was also very spacious with enough room to hang clothes.
From the moment we entered the bathroom, there was a funny smell. The fan did not seem to work, so the smell remained throughout our stay.

Couldn’t fault this accommodation. Paula, the Manger, and her staff go out of their way to make your experience an enjoyable one. The complex is small and quiet. The snack bar on site is very handy. Lots of good restaurants very close by.
Not a criticism but would be great if the snack bar could stay open a little later, say 10pm.

Our apartment was really lovely and an excellent size but unfortunately we had no balcony to sit out on (think this was the only apartment without a balcony).we did have a sliding door that could open with

It’s located near several restaurants and bars, but no noise could be heard once the doors to the balcony were shut. It's a small family place. Very kind staff. Big apartment for 2 people. I had booked a room without a balcony, and I didn't miss it because there are more places to sit in the building. The building and swimming pool area looks well-kept and clean. Downstairs there is a bar offering snacks, you can eat breakfast from 9.30 onwards and sit outside near the 2 pools. Maria is the staff member that takes care of you, she does this very well. From the building, you can walk downhill to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. We loved that you can walk over the beach and rocks to the other beaches when the sea is low tide. The red cliffs along the beach are stunning.
If you enjoy listening to live singing and karaoke then you are in for a treat, because there is a bar opposite the apartment that is open 7 nights a week. If you are a night owl, want to sing yourself or can easily sleep through noise then there is no problem for you. The staff is aware that this can be an issue for some and if possible they will move you to a quieter room. I think the rooms facing the swimming pool have fewer issues with the noise. If I had known I would have taken earplugs with me.

Cleaners visited every day. The two pools, even though I didn’t use them looked very clean. There are a few restaurants, coffee shops and a small supermarket opposite the Aquamar.

Comparing to other hotels nearby, this one is a cosy quiet family run place with very spacious clean rooms, white crispy sheets, selection of pillows, duvets/blankets. Ample free parking lot nearby, just bear in mind it is slightly downhill, so walking up with suitcases might be a struggle. Although there are only two floors in the building, there is a lift. Exceptional customer service, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely and spacious pool area, pool towels can be obtained at reception for 2EUR. We had a massage while staying there (arranged by reception) and that was great too.
Just for the information for the future guests - there is no dishwasher and no washing machine in the apartments, although it wasn't an issue for us, it is helpful to know. There is no direct access to the pool area from the ground floor rooms with the pool view. The gym is quite a small room equipped with a treadmill, an exercise bike, a bench and a few dumbbells and it can only be used by one/two persons at a time, so requires booking.
We didn't like the idea of using the sheets instead of duvet cover to cover the duvet. And we didn't like the proximity of the high street with bars and restaurants, although, it would be beneficial for others, we realised that we prefer a tranquil location. Most of the nights during the week we stayed there, we could hear music coming from a bar until late at night, although with the windows shut, it was ok.

Our stay at the Aquamar Aparthotel was exceptional, a small complex with the most comfortable living space and amazing friendly staff. We will definitely be back here and we recommend it to anyone looking for a personal experience. 5 star accommodation.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment, which was cleaned daily, with good quality bedlinen/towels changed every three days.
Size/cleanliness of (3) pools, garden and snack bar impressive considering the size of accommodation. No shortage of sun loungers with plenty space between them.
Management and staff friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Disappointed about having to pay for room safe.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Also very close to the beach so location was excellent. Staff were lovely and helpful. Pool area was clean and peaceful. Very reasonably priced.
Maybe it's the norm in the area but we had to pay for the safe in room and if we wanted to switch the pool towels we had to pay each time.

The location was excellent, the staff at the hotel are amazing. They make you feel so welcome. The hotel feels safe and friendly.
It is spotless, the cleaners do a great job.
The snackbar is a great option and very good value.
The pools are great and there is no mad panic like other hotels to get a sunbed. Never too busy at the pool as a small complex.
The rooms are better than expected , have everything you need in the kitchen ,living area loads of space and nice bedroom and bathroom
We paid for the room with a balcony and it was worth it.
Best hotel I have stayed in for a sun holiday as a family. Daughters loved it and we booked while there for the following year as we all enjoyed it so much.
Jose on reception helped us do this and was there when checked in , like all the staff credit to the hotel and what makes it a great place to stay.
Taxi rank right outside if you want to go to the old town or strip .

This is the perfect location for beach access and close to amenities. You are about a 2k comfortable walk into Albufeira. The staff are absolutely amazing and the apartments are well stocked with kitchen equipment.
The pool area is very nice. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Definitely value for your dollar!
