I thought the breakfast was adequate. I was concerned all that there was a cat wandering freely around the tables and in the food service area. Also I found that the staff were friendly. I have to say that the lady who cleaned the rooms was absolutely fantastic.

The location for us was very good, easy walk to beach area and restaurants for evening meal as during covid not many people at the hotel hence the restaurant was closed in the evening. The breakfast was ok. Overall for what we paid we were very happy and would return again.

our superior room was very disappointing. It just felt rather tired and in need of an upgrade. The grouting in the bathroom was black and the paint on the toilet seat was worn away. It probably was clean but it didn’t look like it. We were in room 135 which was a long way to the main reception area. it did not feel like a “superior” room.

Nice hotel, 8 min walk to amazing beach, really wonderful staff. Good room size, you have space and can easily be comfortable with 2 people staying. There also was a wonderful view of green hills from the room lobby.
The hotel is 4 star and on first look it presents itself like that (has swimming pool, tennis court and overall pleasant look, with spacious rooms) but now probably 3, as it is a bit dated.
For me personally is a good option for long weekend away, but if I was expecting 4 star holiday for example for a week, I would have been a bit disappointed.
Breakfast is basic, 3 star hotel standard.

Nice staff, amazing location really close to the beach, just a short 5 min walk. The bedroom was quiet an breakfast was very diverse and good quality.
The beds were not the most comfortable ones and the room on the ground floor had only the blackout curtains meaning you couldn't have privacy during the day so you could have some light in. Also for a matter of security didn't like to leave the curtains open so the bedroom was always in the dark.
One of the swimming pools is apparently only for adults but there were kids playing football and jumping into the swimming pool. Also the pool bar had doubled the outside prices of some articles, a bit too much.

grounds are gorgeous and close the beach.
unclean rooms (thick dirt along top of curtains/ spiders on pillows/ dusty floor) / sparse and very uncomfortable. no toiletries apart from a cheap hand soap. no kettle just a fridge but no glasses, plates, cutlery. very disappointed with the standard from booking.com for this to be rated 4* it would scrape 2*. around the pool there was one broken sun umbrella which was shocking and easily fixed.

Location was great within walking distance to Luz beach the promenade with local restaurants, shops etc.
Firstly when I arrived and checked into my room and opened the balcony sliding door, it came away from the rails. I then asked help from reception and was told that the maintenance person had gone home (1pm in the afternoon!) The receptionist said there wasn't another room to offer me so he came up to the room and managed to fix and lock the patio door leaving me with only the other side that could be opened. The room safe lock had been removed, holes in the curtains, a hole in one of my hand towels and the pool sides were dangerous with broken white bars just before you enter - very dangerous for children I would imagine.

It was tired. Understaffed. Nothing was open. Pool bar closed, none of the extra services available as advertised.

Property was very clean and relatively easy to find. Had a beautiful large room with a a great view overlooking the pool on the 1st floor. Comfortable accommodations and would stay here again
Check in was a bit unorganized. One host checking in about 8 guests and also manning the bar. He was professional, maintained his calmness and was polite. Many of the rooms were not ready yet at 3pm, hence I think that’s why he was juggling things….but did a good job,, but having help would have been good.

Lobby and rooms are depressing I would not come back and don't recommend it
The place would amazing if it was updated with a good designer but it's far from that now. The bathroom smelled like a sewer for a few hours and door key sticks
