The lady at reception that spoke to me first had zero customer service skills.
She needs some serious training in that area.
The gentleman that checked me in was friendlier.
No working TV, showerhead wasn't great with pressure and the toilet flash was broken too.

Also since it’s and art hotel, art shouldn’t be only reached through its lobby. - maybe art should exist in the rooms or each floor’s public spaces.

The Hotel is conveniently located. Easier to reach from Lisbon airport, Lisboa Oriente Railway station, Flix bus station as well as very close to Vasco Da Gama mall and various restaurants. Is very quiet place and offers a wonderful view of the waterfront. Staff is very helpful and breakfast is nice.
Nothing in particular. Tea/Coffee maker is not a standard facility for them but they provide on request at free of cost.

From my check in by the young male looking like Rami Malek (actor) I felt cared for. Professional, personal and polite. And had humour the wry way I enjoy. Didn’t get his name due to being tired after flying. …nick/Humpernick ???
He placed me in a room with a view of the river. Lovely - though the huge windows were really dirty which I in no way blame him for.

The painting/Art. I believe it is illustrator Charlie Mackesy, a British artist and author famous for the children book "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse."
Cosy and soft to touch velvet cushions in strong colours with abstract pattern behind the sleeping cushions.
A room with a bath tub. Superb planning. Bottles of bath/shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and even body lotion. Two small local soaps.

Something most hotels ought to keep in mind or make a deal with a company: small toothpaste tubes or in a container.
Due to flying you can’t bring your tooth paste from home and to buy one in every new place, needing to leave it behind is not environmentally sane.

They changed our hotel room. We originally booked a room with a river view and a large floor-to-ceiling window. We ended up with a room facing the other side, toward the train line. Furthermore, the window was small and broken. The bathroom sink was clogged.

I had a bad back and the staff kindly offered me an earlier check in an organized support for me.
Good service, good location.
This time the price was very good, it does fluctuate with seasons and events of course but I was very happy this time to pay less that one hundred.
Bonus this time was a coffee machine in the room
The only thing I would upgrade there would be the restaurant / bar. They have a lot of space that could be redesigned to make it really quite special. The menu is quite restricted but I think that reflects the multitude of great restaurants on your doorstep.

I have been staying at this hotel for a very long time, I have been stating in the past that the rooms and bathrooms are in need to be renovated, specifically the bathrooms! this time I stayed, I found the bathroom basin blocked,also every time I open or closed the bathroom door it made a very squeaky noise, which was annoying! And the heating/air conditioning didn’t work properly and made a very loud noise once it got to work (only for a few minutes or so) For the price I’ve paid, it wasn’t worth the money at all

Room was clean, had really comfortable single beds, had a nespresso coffee machine, good view, rooms were reasonably big by Europen standards and the large bathroom had a nice tub. Overall, it is excellent value for the money and would stay there in the future.
I had to resist their insistence that I take the double bed room, front desk not as friendly or professional as other hotels. These are not "dealbreakers".

The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and fresh linens. The breakfast was decent. The location in Parque das Nações is good, but there are many better hotels in this area.
The hotel doesn't live up to its "VIP," "Executive," or "Art" labels — the interior is basic, boring, and feels dated. The reception staff was slow and moody during check-in. Despite the hotel appearing half-empty, we were given a room on the 2nd floor (out of 14) facing the railway. The soundproofing is poor, so it was noisy. For this high price, I expected much more. I wouldn't recommend it; there are far better options nearby.
