Breakfast was very good, and the room itself was spacious and had a lovely ocean view. We liked the ease of checkin and checkout, easy parking, pleasant staff. We had a few drinks and snacks in the bar on the top floor with the panoramic view of Nazare, very nice.
We had 2 twin beds stuck together for a full bed. Not as comfortable as it could have been. We used the indoor pool and it could use some maintenance.

The staff contribute the most to making it such a lovely experience. They are very kind and professional. The breakfast is also excellent - many delicious options and with a beautiful view (seen in the photo). Parking is easy and secure.
As anticipated for the region, the beds are extremely firm. This isn't necessarily a negative point, just one of preference that is good to be aware of. Also in line with touristy areas, a glass of water costs extra (they don't serve tap).

The property of OK, but you can only get there driving on a narrow road full of construction barriers, waiting for trucks on the road.
I was given the worse room in the hotel - on the ground floor, at the entrance to the hallway from the reception, across from the elevator. It was noisy late in the evening, well past midnight and in the morning before 6 am. I knew from the start that this is not an acceptable room for us. I asked for a different room and was told that there are no other rooms. I offered to pay for a better room and was told that the hotel is sold out.
THIS WAS A LIE! 30 min later I witnessed a guest that came with no reservation and he was offered 3 different choices. I also checked Booking.com and there were several types of rooms available. I never experienced such behavior from the hotel staff. Unfortunately, we already unpacked…

Breakfast is very very basic (almost no warm food, no veggies, juices are not natural). Indoor pool is gross - water smells chlorine so much that my eyes were in pain, water is not clean, showers are broken, very dark inside when you go in the evening. Noise in the room from hotel ventilation system sometimes were unbearable (we got corner apartment and heard low frequency noise constantly including nighttime).

The view and free parking.
The room was very uncomfortable. The bed was hard as a board. The sofa was a lumpy futon that was too uncomfortable to sit on. Upon check in, I paid with my Cdn credit card and the machine asked for my choice of currency- Euro or Cdn. I chose Euros, but the machine over rode my choice and charged in Cdn with a big conversion fee. Quite fraudulent, really.
The breakfast was disappointing. The juices were served out of cafeteria style dispensers and the “ orange juice” was something like a powdered substance mixed with water. In Portugal where oranges are everywhere! Pathetic.
We were booked and paid for 2 nights but it was so bad we left after one night. No refund offered despite our complaints.

We never got the hang of the elevator as we had to play with the controls each time. Also, it would have been nice if there were a pathway down the back of the hotel to the beach. It's a long roundabout walk.

Air conditioning produced hot air instead the expected what was dramarical in the Summer in Southern Portugal.
I didn't sleep at night - it was hot.
The ocean view was spoilt by dirty windows (see the photo).
The room and terrace poor maintained, dirty and rusty.
I don't recommend this place for a visit.

They will charge you for shower caps if you want to use the indoor pool otherwise you can’t use it.They double charged me for my stay and no one ever from the hotel replied to me when I inquired. The hotel upgraded us to a suite to we can't complain about the room size. the balcony was lovely and quiet - we had a sizable view of the ocean. The pool was great - the exterior was a little tired but it must be very difficult with the misty, salt air to maintain. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay ... we asked if we could stay one more night but the hotel was completely booked.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like - maybe we wished we could have walked from the hotel into the town of Nazare but the walk was a bit to far to then hike up to the fort and back.
