Only thing for me was so far to get to the River for boat rides! We thought it was close, but a long Uber drive. Hotel is in middle of City, so it was a long drive to get on freeway to see Coastal towns. It was worth the driving time to see the Coast, especially Nazare! And the town with the Gondolas and waterways.

Rooms were clean and large enough, with a nice bedroom. Location was fine, with some good restaurants and shop nearby.
Very bad soundproofing between rooms. Breakfast was too expensive (we chose not to take it there). We were a group of 6 and were told to hang out at a table in a corner of the bar, which was empty at the time.
It was very difficult to get warm water as it was either too hot or too cold.
All in all, not worth a 5 star hotel.

The hotel interior feels a bit outdated, and unfortunately the rooms aren’t very soundproof — we stayed near the elevator and could hear quite a lot of noise. Also, heard noise from the windows.
The indoor pool area also felt a bit underwhelming. The jacuzzi is quite small, not bubbly, and not as warm as you’d expect (almost the same temperature as regular indoor pool). We didn’t want to stay there for more than 10 minutes.
Not convenient to temporarily exit the garage parking (16 eur per day) — each time before exiting you must go to the reception and they have to issue you a new exit ticket - this was time consuming and caused us troubles by the boom barrier as it was not communicated properly at the reception.
Overall, the price feels a bit too high for the value. That said, the room itself was comfortable, and we still had a decent stay.

It was a very pleasant hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent as we're the facilities - the only factorbthat stopped me giving higher ratings in certain aspects was the noise from the building site across the road which kicked off in the early morning - and of course the hotel can not need blamed for that.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The room we stayed was on the 9th floor, it was big enough and the beds were comfortable.
Free SPA and outdoor pool a nice plus.
We chose this hotel for the continental breakfast and we were not disappointed.
The worst thing about this hotel is that they let kids in the SPA which defeats the purpose of it, as you cannot relax when kids play and scream in a small environment (there were people with infants as well, very dangerous for the babies). On top of that there were no seats available around the pool, so you couldn’t even seat just to relax there.
In the morning we were awaken by the housekeepers banging on doors (not our door but you could hear so close that it sounded as they were knocking on ours). If they know that a room is free, maybe they could get inside more silently and not bother the guests who are sleeping and not checking out that day!
Breakfast was really good but those warning signs for you not to take food outside were really annoying.
Place is far from the center.

There are many things you need to consider before booking this hotel. First of all, the hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The location is in the worst possible neighbourhood with so many junkies and drug addicts. The hotel rugs were totally out of fashion for 2026… more like 2010 ones. The hotel is lying in most of the services and specifications they have. TOTALLY NOT SOUNDPROOFING. The room walls are built with Gipso (a very thin layer of cartons alike) which you could hear even people walking which is totally absurd. Had the worst stay of my life because the near room was laughing all the nights, drinking and also hearing very “weird sounds” which you will understand what those sounds are. Totally un acceptable from a 5 star hotel. You need at least 3 stars to be soundproof building as a hotel. The cleaning staff were terrible. We asked 2 times to have the spa robes changed and no one did that in 4 days. Very poor based on the price we paid. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The floor of the room was clearly damaged at the entrance. 5* on this hotel are not justifiable. Unfortunately I would not recommend it.

I liked the «door-gurd», and the rest of the staff was very friendly. Also nice breakfast.
Front-desk man that met us when we arrived at 7am was so little helpful. We were asking if it was possible with early check-in, and he just responded no. Check-in is at 3. no friendly advice, and unfortunately made us having a pretty bad star of our stay. I later asked again around 8.30 if it was possible to check in some time earlier, snd he just responded: no, not at this time. Didn’t suggest to come back later or even smile. I was very disappointed after we had a long travel that there was no kindness of this man…

Nothing really, but if I was being picky the resteraunt didn't have a huge choice of meals. Not the best location, but we knew prior to booking it would be a 15 minute Uber into middle of city (but only 5 euros) so not a bug issue. Would definitely stay again if we visited Porto in the future.
