Bed is HARD AF. Like I’m talking might as well sleep on the floor hard. Maid also threw out bags and twist ties I was using to organize and store toiletry items and turned off the ac so room was super hot when I returned from the day. She maid the bed but didn’t replace towels or shampoos. Walls are thin, lots of noise throughout the night. Walk in bathroom was dirty with drip marks need the garbage.

Check in was great and i left at 4 am, the staff who booked me the taxi were really helpful and the taxi was waiting for me at 3.50am.

The receptionist made us feel very welcome. The room was very basic, but it was spotless. The bathroom was very basic, too. The hotel hasn't been modernised for some time but we were comfortable there. About 30 minutes walk from the city centre but only 5 minutes from a metro station which was easy to navigate. The room and facilities were perfectly acceptable and I received a warm welcome from the receptionist, Annabel. Though I have some gripes to list below, I would admit that the cost (45 euros per day) was reasonable for what I received.
Whilst OK, the room was rather dated, as was the hotel overall. The local area was drab and a little far out of town, though the Metro service overcame this. Apart from Annabel, the other staff showed little interest in myself (and probably other guests, of whom there were few) and, in particular, the old lady in charge of breakfast was quite miserable, not smiling once in the five days and providing everything grudgingly. The breakfast itself was minimal, with very little choice. For example, the only cereals were corn flakes and a chocolate-type cereal, every day!

The room was great with a big balcony. The staff is kind and helpful. There are bus and metro stops nearby but you can also walk to the center in about 20 minutes and admire the tiled buildings on your way. :)

I've stayed in other hotels around porto with more stars and more "modern" but that didn't have as much space as this one or as clean. You get a nice entrance area, with a door that separates the room and the bathroom too, really good if you're sharing the room with someone else.
If you stay in the room facing the main road it can be a bit noisy with the cars but with earplugs it was fine

The hotel is in a good location in the north of Porto. The metro is only 5 minutes' walk away and there are local cafés and restaurants within this distance also. Hotel staff were very helpful if recommending suitable places to eat and drink.

I liked that when I was unhappy with the city and the way I was treated in Porto, the hotel readily agreed to not charge m for the remaining two days.
The city and the people thereof. I was also kind of surprised how so many places were closed around the hotel on Friday and Saturday. No stores near there to even buy a candy bar.

Staff is nice. They gave to us reduction on the price because room was not clean properly. Location is ok, 20min walk from the city center.
Floor in room and badroom was dirty with a lot of long black hair. Bed matrace is very uncomfortable, old and hard and noisy when you move. Room is also very noisy, you can hear people in the next room how they speak, their TV and how they are snoring during the night.
