The room is small and basic as can be expected from an Ibis Budget hotel, but the bathroom is soo small, that you are showering in the toilet and going to the toilet in the shower.
The airconditioning and fan are 'aimed' at the bed, with cold/cool air blown directly in the face.

It is walking distance from the main garden and bay area, the room was clean and exactly what we needed. We could store our luggage before checking in as we arrived early, which was a huge help. The staff was very helpful and very kind.
At first it is a little bit difficult to find the entrance to the place. Also, it is very strongly pushed to use the phone app key which was way too complicated to set up for me, but the regular key cards were working fine as well. I hope there was less of a push to set that up if someone wouldn't like to.

Very small rooms but it is a budget ibis so to be expected! The only negative I have is that we were kind of forced to do the digital key for our room (even though we would get a physical one too), which after a 14 hour flight isn’t great to then have to go through this long process of getting a key that we didn’t even use… maybe make it more of a choice because it definitely didn’t feel like it (I said to the staff member we would just like a physical key but it didn’t go down well!)

The location is perfect and near the tourist’s attractions. There is also an MRT that is very near the Hotel. The room is clean and they change towels daily.
The restaurant although small serve a good breakfast. There were limited choices of food but the croissant/breads taste good.
I just didn’t like that the room is so enclosed.

The location was very convenient—close to public transportation, restaurants, and local attractions(there is 7-11 downstairs).
There was no laundry facility inside the hotel. It would have been much more convenient to have access to on-site laundry, especially for longer stays( there is a laundry store opposite the hotel and it costs 7 dollars per time). Additionally, the room was slightly smaller than expected. It would have been more comfortable with a little more space.

First time to stay at an Ibis budget, but I expected budget. The room was small, but had a comfortable bed and pretty good black out curtains. We used the pool the morning before we checked out, and it was a nice pool. Plenty of hot water for the shower, you just have to flip the on switch. The location is good, easy to get to multiple bus lines and the train, and also walkable to the Chinatown market as well as Lau Pau Sat market.
The bathroom did NOT include a hand towel (we asked at the front desk and were told they do not provide any) or hand soap. Basically you use the shower gel on the wall for washing your hands. It really made no sense to us, since it would cost them almost nothing to provide one of those small bars of soap. In terms of the hand towel, they will replace your sheets daily but not provide a hand towel, really odd and just too "cheap" feeling. The other thing is the bathroom is a single big room with the shower right next to the toilet. The drain is under the sink so when you shower, you get the room completely wet if you splash at all. They did provide a little squeegee mop so you can push the water to the drain to get the floor dry.

Can't really complain because Singapore is expensive, but this was the smallest room in all my trip through Southeast Asia, and also the most expensive one. In the bathroom, the shower is basically on top of the toilet, and the water doesn't get hot enough. It is not a very comfortable stay, but you get what you pay for. Just keep this in mind when choosing your destinations and figuring your priorities (comfort, budget, etc.).

ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay – Great location and excellent value
I had an enjoyable stay at ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay and was overall very satisfied.
The location is excellent — close to Clarke Quay, public transport, restaurants, and many attractions. The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable.
A big highlight was the rooftop pool, which is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring Singapore. My son especially loved the pool and enjoyed spending time there, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the breakfasts — good quality and a nice variety for a budget hotel.
The only minor downsides were that the room was relatively small for two people (my son and I), and there was no wardrobe or proper storage for clothes, which made longer stays a bit less convenient.

The location was perfect! Close to all the major tourist attractions, restaurants, the Metro and a Hop On Bus route. The rooms are small, but value for money taking location into account. Would easily return and recommend. The staff were all also extremely friendly and we especially enjoyed getting to know the team of the coffee shop next door that serves as the breakfast spot for the hotel. Also appreciated getting fresh towels and having the room cleaned every day!
Laundry service would have been appreciated. Their is a self service laundromat nearby - but when you have limited time and wanting to explore it is not ideal

There is only 1 plug in the room located on the table. (I wish there is 1 next to the bed, there is only usb charging next to the bed).

Our stay was overall excellent. Everything was very well organized, the property was **spotlessly clean**, and the **location was great**, directly opposite the station, which made getting around extremely easy.
What truly made the difference was the **staff**, who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. A very special thank you goes to Amirah, who was absolutely wonderful — warm, kind, professional, and genuinely caring. She made us feel comfortable from the very first moment and truly enhanced our stay. Employees like her are a real asset to any hotel.
As for the few negatives, the **soundproofing was quite poor**, both from neighboring rooms and from the corridor. In the mornings, noise from the housekeeping staff was noticeable, including **music being played rather loudly** while rooms were being cleaned. Additionally, the **bathroom layout was not very well designed** and felt somewhat uncomfortable in daily use!
Despite these minor issues, we had a very pleasant stay*and would happily return!

I was in this hotel for 3 nights. I booked a double room however as I reached the room was smelly. When I reported it to the lady in reception she immediately agreed and changed our room. As expected, the rooms are not big, but they are very clean with comfortable bed. IBIS hotel surely did maintain its name as the room.
What really did stand out was the breakfast. Though the breakfast area was not big, it offered fresh and delicious food to kick start the day for a tourist.

Lovely hotel, swimming pool on level 6, friendly staff, breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day and was buffet style with fresh items constantly being cooked and served. Towels changed daily, bed made, tea and coffee restocked. Cold water dispenser downstairs. In the heart of the business district, easy access to underground and bus services.

Amirah and Nadya were wonderful at promptly checking me in and even letting me check in early since the room was ready. The hotel was in a perfect location near Chinatown with shops nearby.

Great location! Easy access to Clarke Quay and surrounding area. Close to the metro station. Pool was nice and breakfast was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Little dirty around the AC unit in the room. Room little dark but tried to liven it up with some colours.

Additionally to the size of the room, where you have only 50cm around the bed, it was not possible to get a good rest as ventilation system made all night same noise as does airplane jet engine. And no possibility to turn it off!
You literally after long flight had experience of continuing sleeping in same noise as in the airplane.
Staff was not responsive and visibly did not care at all that they sell such rooms out to their guests.
I absolutely suggest to AVOID this hotel!
