The friendly staff at Vila Prešeren upgraded our reservation to the Prešeren room, complete with a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Bled. We enjoyed an excellent and plentiful breakfast, as well as convenient parking right by the villa's entrance. The villa itself, with its location and the charm of the well-maintained historic building, added a magical touch to our getaway.
To stay active and enjoy the fresh air, we took a cross-country skiing course on Pokljuka. We highly recommend it!

It is bang on the lake side. Very old property. Maintained perfectly. The necessary facilities were available. Bed was comfortable. The property is very much similar to as advertised in the photos. The lake is just outside the door. We had a small balcony with lake view. Loved it. The breakfast was hale and hearty. Not predefined breakfast items but order any thing any number of times from the menu. We had a pesto sandwich. It was done nicely. The staff was very polite and supportive. There is a restaurant called Spica just towards the left of the hotel. Serves excellent dinner with drinks. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were polite and respectful towards Indians.
Essentially amenities that could have been given in winters like body lotion or moisturiser and hair conditioner were not available. Didn’t know if they were made available if only asked. The heating seemed to be a bit less efficient. It was -5/-6 outside. Inside was just comfortable. Could have been more cozy.

Everything felt great! From the first moment - where our room was prepared 2 hours earlier and we were allowed an early check in with no extra cost. Right by the lake and steps from the city centre, the location is maybe the most premium in Bled. Breakfast is served as a free choice from their cafe/restaurant menu and it is more than enough. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.
My only negative comment would be the pillows that could have been better.

The location was amazing. Right on the lake and central to the bars and restaurants in Bled. We had a balcony overlooking the lake with lovely views. Unfortunately the weather meant we didn’t get much use out of it. Breakfast is good and staff were helpful and friendly. We also got the bus into Ljubljana for a few hours. Seeing all the other hotels, I think Penzion Vila Preseren has one of the best locations. It is also architecturally more attractive than most of the other hotels in Bled.

There is nothing like a quaint, lake side villa. This villa is a five minute walk from the Bled bus station . Great access to any activity on or around the lake. The staff was highly accommodating; we checked in two hours early, and they allowed us to get breakfast early to meet an early shuttle on the day of our departure.

The staff here are so kind, and allowed us to check in early. The room is comfortable and the location directly on the lake is ideal! One of the highlights is definitely the breakfast which is included - a generous portion including coffee and juice, and it’s delicious. Eating on the patio overlooking the lake each morning was lovely. We recommend staying here for sure!

It is beautiful! Great location, great staff (in general) and comfortable place in front of the lake.
1) bathroom floods when showering - the entire bathroom
2) lady removing leafs decided to do in front of my window before 9am (for a jet lag person it was too early)

Cozy, great location, staff were accommodating, welcoming, & helpful. Included breakfast was delicious. Shower was amazing!
Personally I didn’t not like anything. My mother had a separate room and she said it would be too small to share but my partner and I had same size room and we were fine. I think she just packs too much. Ha!

I loved everything about my stay at Penzion Vila Preseren. The location was absolutely perfect as I wanted to be as close to Lake Bled as possible which would afford me pleasant long walks in that area and to be able to go with the boat to the Island Church.
That I had to leave too soon. Given my onward Itinerary I couldn't, unfortunately, prolong my stay.

Location is unbeatable. Lake Bled is just in front of the hotel meters away. Climb to castle is just behind the hotel. Good breakfast, all you need to start your day. Parking was a big plus. Staff were all really nice even let us leave the car for a few more hours while we were exploring around. Would recommend this place.
The hotel itself is a little bit outdated, but all in all, it is still comfortable and charming.

The location can not get any better.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and made us eat more and more. The room size was amazing for a family of four.
The curtains were not blackout curtains and there were some Christmas lights outside so it wasn’t pitch dark in the room to sleep in.

Flawless. We absolutely loved the hotel and location. Our view was perfect from our balcony. Hotel right on the lake with own parking. You could not ask for more. I only hope to come back here one day. Breakfast was outside on terrace with the lake right there. Really just perfect.
Super location just meters from the lake. Everything is walking distance. The staff are very friendly.
Rooms are a bit small but not an issue for us.

Location is great in front of the lake. Breakfast options are good, not buffet but you can order más many dishes from the menu as you want. The staff were pretty nice at all times.
The room we had was a bit small, nevertheless very clean. We saw some much bigger rooms in the house.

Excellent location right on the lake, was easy to park once we figured out how to get there. Huge & tasty breakfast outside with a great view.
Since we were on the ground floor, we couldn’t leave the doors to the terrace open at night & it got quite stuffy. The bathroom also smelled a bit odd, maybe like air freshener or something? The electrical plugs were quite loose, it was hard to keep our plugs properly plugged in.
