I like the location, and breakfast is good, but thereβs too few staff replenishing the food, so you end up waiting for everything. I appreciate that there's a gym, but its location isnβt marked anywhereβnot even in the elevators. If you go to the 9th floor where βwellnessβ is indicated, youβll find the door locked before 9am. The gym is actually on the 1st floor, to the right of the elevators, but you only find that out by stumbling upon it.
I didnβt like that we found an empty shower gel bottle in the room β and of course, only realized it while in the shower. Even though I asked for a replacement at reception the next morning, no one came to restock it before we checked out, hours later.
Another major downside is the hotel garage. Itβs very narrow and oddly designed β I honestly donβt see how it meets fire safety standards. You drive down a tight, winding ramp to underground levels (up to -3), and thatβs the only way in and out. Thereβs no camera system, so no one knows if a car is coming up when youβre heading down. On top of that, valet service wasnβt offered to us until the second day, which was stressful β the opposite of why we came to Ljubljana for a relaxing weekend.
Lastly, apart from the front desk and breakfast check-in, none of the staff responded when I greeted them β not a single one.

Honestly, the whole hotel needs serious renovation. My first room had a dirty toilet. Unacceptable. New room had a broken AC that has very loud banging noises when turned on. Breakfast was also not great. Very limited choices.

The hotel is very rundown for the price and could use some good facility management. For example, in our room we had the door frame that was loose, the bed was loudly squeaking every time you would turn, the auxiliary bed was missing multiple wooden lattices, so the staff needed to go to another free room and take the lattices from another bed so our kids could sleep properly. The room door has almost no sound insulation, and there were holes in the door from the latch which was missing. Despite being a "Bigger room" for four people, the room did not offer a chair and a desk or table where one could work.

The recently renovated room offered a comfortable and clean environment. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and well-lit.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
Although the garage was full upon arrival, staff successfully accommodated my vehicle.
The room demonstrates efficient space utilization; however, the bathroom layout could be optimized. Significant underutilized space exists, and the sink's placement relative to the shower entry is suboptimal.
While the room's cost was substantial, this is apparently typical for Ljubljana's current market.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It's right downtown, a few minutes walk from the area near the castle, and located only ~8 minutes from the main bus station.
Check-in starts at 1400. We arrived around 1400 and got in line to check in. At 1410, we were at the counter and were told that our room wasn't ready. The employee told us it would be 20 minutes and asked us to have a seat in the reception area to wait. We expected that an employee would let us know when the room would be ready, but around 1435, no one came to assist us, and I got back in line.
While waiting in line for another 20 minutes, another group who had arrived around 1425, and seemed to have had a similar issue was directly assisted by someone who seemed to be a manager, who was apologizing for making them wait, escorted them to the front of the line, and checked them in.
So while my family and I had been waiting for an hour to check in, because the hotel didn't have our room ready, another group was given preferential treatment for no apparent reason.
Finally getting to our room around 1520, the room was very basic. Very few furniture pieces, the bathroom was extremely small compared to the empty feeling rooms.
Outside of the location, the hotels facilities, service, and staff were mediocre at best. Upon check out, I was asked if we had anything from the mini bar, which I responded, "There was a minibar?" The employee then stated, "Oh, I apologize. You stayed in our newly renovated rooms, which dont include minibars."
This made me wonder if I paid the price for a specific room, but was put into a lower grade room, lacking in amenities that I should have received at the price I was paying.
Definitely will be less likely to consider Eurostar hotels in the future.

Downsides :limited parking space was a bit of a challenge for us, and even though we managed to park in the hotel most evenings, it was a bit of a stress trying to guess whether a spot would be available or not. Also, pool is nice but rather small, and it was often fully booked in the slots that we were interested in.

From the helpful staff, large breakfast, great location and giant rooms, this hotel was the perfect way to kick off my familyβs trip to Slovenia. My wife and I also really enjoyed visiting the pool. Normally Iβm not the biggest fan of indoor pools but this one was super relaxing and clean.

Everything was perfect, from bed comfort, shower, complimentary water bottles every day, to cleanniness, delicious breakfast and very helpful staff. Special shout out to Alif (hope I spelled his name right) for finding the package from a clothing store few days prior to my arrival. Can't wait to return.

Pool and breakfast were really good. Fitness center is small but ok for a quick workout. Really close to center and the triple bridge.
Parking was full. Hotel staff was kind enough to direct us to a parking nearby, but nevertheless 15 min walk.

Yes, location of the Hotel is in walking distance from the Train station in Ljubljana and City center and restaurants within reach.
Breakfast included was a plus and good food.
The twin room is clean and bathroom is modernized but a little too small.

Great, central location (4 minute walk to city center) but not noisy at all. Very clean, good breakfast, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
