Overview
A day trip to Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-in Palace is an excellent way to delve into the rich history and architectural grandeur of Thailand. This trip provides a captivating journey back in time, allowing you to witness the splendor of ancient Siam and appreciate the architectural marvels of Thai royalty. Once the glorious capital of Siam, Ayutthaya showcases the remnants of a once-thriving kingdom. Founded in 1350, it flourished for over 400 years, becoming a major center of trade and culture. The city’s impressive temples and palaces reflect its former glory. Although it was sacked by the Burmese in 1767, the ruins stand as a testament to its rich past.
