The location was excellent to walk into the town to local restaurants. The staff at breakfast were pleasant, friendly and attentive. It was a very quiet place to stay.
We were told that there was fresh milk available in the lounge area for tea/coffee. Unfortunately on just one day of our stay there wasn’t any and our room also had not been replenished with tea/coffee/biscuits or beds made - when we asked (texted) if we could have some more supplies we received a text to say that the team had left the premises and that there was a local Sainsburys nearby. Not quite the response we were expecting. This might have just been an oversight of the weekend staff.

Generally very comfortable. Good situation. Nice breakfast.
We were woken by a annoying at 7am each morning. A sound then someone talking. Sounded like staff. I messaged and was told it could be the Alexa thing plugged in ( we didn't know it was there) felt like staff dismissive of what felt a disturbing experience

Loved the keyless entry, it was very easy and stress free.
The honesty bar and the little extras provided were very thoughtful and welcome.
The only slight gripe is the shower was an overhead one which I find a pretty useless but that might be me.

Good car parking we felt secure about and could leave car there during morning after checkout.
Very useful to have complimentry milk supplied not lots of little cartons.
Very nice to have table and two chairs
We needed to get out early on Sunday but had to remind the kitchen at 8.05 that we woud like to order our breakfast.
Room door 10 was very heavy to push open, dont know if that is adjustable?

Lovely b&b in a good location. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the train and bus stations. We had a booking mix up when we arrived but it was very quickly resolved with Jesper’s help. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with comfortable beds and pillows and a great ensuite shower. Good choice of breakfast with great service. There was a small car park but there was also free permits available for on-street parking. I would highly recommend Fountains Guest House.

Breakfast was okay but drinks could have been hotter, just like warm.
Didn't like the room where you collected cereal it was very small and too near people who were eating their breakfast.
Lucky we ate our breakfast in the front room which was lovely and spacious.
We were in room on front which overlooked the busy road, which was nice a big and shower was great. Duvet and pillow were so warm and comfortable. BUT you really need to put some sort of screen on bottom part on window.

We only met the 2 ladies who made and served breakfast, both very friendly with cheery smiles. All in all a fantastic weekend. Will definitely stay here again for our next visit to Harrogate.

Location was excellent, very clean room, shower was spacious nice hot water. Tea/coffee facilities excellent .
Bed was quite hard and pillows not to my liking. Room a little small, hardly any room to get into bed at one side. Some of the paint was knocked off on the wall in the bedroom. Radiator in bathroom was very hot, not necessary at this time of year, had to open the window as bathroom was stuffy.. we had to park on road, quite away from hotel too, only about 5 spaces to park at hotel.

The location is excellent and the free parking, either on the small carpark behind the property, or on the street with a free parking pass, saves the hassle and costs of public parking.
The room was comfortable, the staff wonderful, and the breakfast good.

Traditional building, but well decorated, clean.
Only waterfall shower, would have preferred choice of hand held as well. Every time we tried to unlock the room door (room 7) via key pad, it took 5/6 attempts, so there must be a technical fault on the key pad. This was quite stressful each time as no staff there to help.

The room was a little small but in a cool old building. Bathroom and shower were great. It was a little walk to the main areas but not a problem. We loved the tea & hot cocoa, milk and cookies. Very welcoming and clean. We did the full English breakfast and it was perfect. Lovely dining area and great hostesses. Clear and timely instructions on check in process.
We didn't know our room was going to be cleaned when we were away or we would have left it a little more presentable. Sorry!
