the manager was very welcoming and once inside explained fully all details necessary

no communication in regards to how to check in. I had to phone after waiting outside for 20 mins. curtains were threadbare and woken every sunrise by the sheer brightness in the room. sofa was extremely uncomfortable and couldn’t relax at all.

When I was checked in, the room allocated was smaller than what I had paid for but the staff was courteous about it and moved me the next day with a generous upgrade which more than compensated for the initial disappointment. The studio was still in top condition nonetheless less. The property location is also fantastic. Quiet but within short walks to town center, DMU and the street market

Not sure how frequently the trash was evacuated from the designated room on the ground floor but the main entrance always had a foul smell. The entrance door also didn’t jam all the time. You had to be careful to pull and hear the click to be sure it was securely closed.

Beds were comfy, had all kitchen essentials. Had a balcony which was nice to allow air to to the room. Liked how close it was to the centre just a couple of minutes walk which was great!

Absolutely vile smell upon entering the ground floor which was coming from the bins area within the building. Was absolutely disgusting smell was dreading walking in and out of the building because of this. Hotel reception was not well organised or located well. Spent 20 mins just trying to get in had no instructions of how to get to reception or even into the building on arrival which made us very disappointed and angry. Had 1 staff member only saw no others which was disappointing considering we needed things. Once we had our room we then noticed our balcony door was locked and had no key. Had to contact a staff member who then gave us a key but had to walk into the complete other building just to get this. Was pretty ridiculous considering nothing was organised for our stay, spent a lot of the beginning trying to find keys and someone to actually help us. Apartment owner right near ours must smoke cannabis. It stunk the whole corridor out and was so strong- just smelt of stale smoke all the time. Wouldn’t stay again Can’t fault the room but the overall stay wasn’t the best.

Apartment was nice and cosy. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were cleaned and fresh. It could have added value to Apartment if following things have provided.

Breakfast was not included. Location is really bad,maybe good for students or youngster ,nearby to get basics like milk bread water etc. the kitchen basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, oil was missing. Pots were really tiny set of 3. pan was only1and huge can't make eggs. Spatulas no only huge serving spoons. Oven not working Oven gloves and kitchen towel not provided. Parking should be included in price.

The location was a short drive into town centre. There was nothing else you could like except it was a decent size

The place is filthy!!! Its not had a proper clean for many months/years. As soon as you walk in the main doors, the smell is absolutely disgusting. The bin storage area is just to the RHS of the entrance. Food waste will be lying there for many flats for 3 weeks in warm conditions. It smells like a sewer/land fill. Next, you notice every wall has marks and scuffs all over and the carpets are badly stained everywhere. Entering the apartment you are immediately hit with the smell of curry. The floors and tables arent cleaned properly, there's hair, dust and debris down the side of the sofa, the taps are DISGUSTING as is the window ledge. The worktops are damaged and dirty. There was no way we would risk preparing food there. We both ended up with upset stomachs. Again, every wall was marked in each room. There was no shower screen or curtain in the main bathroom, mildew was all round the base and the grout was too. Bedroom 1- the mattress and pillows had no protectors and had stains all over that looked like bodily fluids. There was a brown smear above the bed that looked like human excrement. Bedroom 2- again the walls were all badly marked. No matress or pillow protectors. There were yet more yellow stainss all over. The. bed base was grey (previously white)and numerous black short hairs over it. The towel radiator had thick.black dust all down the back. I feel sorry for the permanent residents as it looks a place groups would have parties and not care about the hygiene levels of poor maintenance. It totally ruined a special event for me as I couldn't get other suitable accomodation near the venue I was attending. We planned on saving money and cooking for ourselves but had no choice but to constantly eat out of order takeaways. The switches in the kitchen were covered I. A black grease.

Great location and a well-equipped apartment. Opposite Castle Gardens and 5 minute walk to De Montfort University's main campus. 5-minute walk to Tescos and 10 minutes to get into City Centre.

Having a t-towel would have been useful. However, the biggest issue was that I was on the 5th floor and the fire alarm within the block went off twice in one afternoon. I had my daughter visiting (pre-arranged) as she's at university in Leicester. She is a wheelchair user and there were no instructions about how a disabled person would get out of the building in case of a fire. Obviously, we wouldn't use the lift but there are no details for how to escape. Thankfully both times the alarm stopped just as we were leaving the apartment but in case of a real emergency a disabled person wouldn't know what to do. Also, the bath was really slippy (shower over the bath) getting & & out as no mat or anything to hold onto,

Sound insulation so good that I lost that persistent feeling that the neighbours and I are too close. I often forgot about them. Location almost ideal. On river bank in historic area; near city without the bustle.

1. There were two main customer facing staff when I was there, who gave me their nicknames as "Ali" and "Jazz". One or both of them may have been during the temporary period of my stay replacements for the usual staff. In the first week when I went out into the city I got exceptionally bad depression, so bad that I sometimes found it difficult to talk to people and to string a sentence together. Perhaps some staff intended it. If they did, and had their reasons, they did not tell me what they were. This may have gone further into threats to townspeople. I do not know whether anyone caused this, or who. That is my guess. 2. Small, silly, cheap things were not there. Basin drain had a bad plug and no cover grill so I lost a small toothbrush down the U-tube. Few kitchen utensils. Saucepans without lids. I asked for a light bulb in the oven; a bin bag which fitted the bin; a less blunt kitchen knife. These did not appear. What a waste of a fitted kitchen and a great building!

The size of the studio apartment is much smaller that what was advertised. The studio apartment was 320 Square feet and not 430 as advertised. It is like ordering a 12 inch pizza and getting a 7 inch .

The apartment was excellent, large and comfortable. Location was also great, easy walking distance to town etc.

The apartment smelt of sewerage and we had to have the windows open all the time. It wasn’t strong but definitely noticeable. We also could not have a food for the garage as they had run out. Whilst this did not cause us a problem as we walked everywhere, it was frustrating as we might have driven had we had the chance. It also did not have an oven tray, oven gloves or tea towel but these are minor things and overall it was just the bad smell.

location was brilliant for De Montford University, Having a washer and airier was brilliant for the stay, kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cutlery and coffee and tea. Bathroom was ample size, and came with toilet roll and little soaps and body wash. Parking was onsite, and secure. Staff where really friendly and helpful to, it was very clean, and they where smiley and chatty.

The sheets where a little old- a little threadbare at the bottom, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. It can be a little noisy outside,- for a side road a lot of people use it for pedestrian access, - this is a bit much if its drunk students shouting as they walk past - sound carries a lot in the street. but if you close the vents on the windows fully, this makes it much better.

Good location, clean and well maintained staff very helpful and easy check in. Went to a concert in Leicester and was a good crash pad. There is also parking as well.

Little bit difficult to find initially and is a one way system but easy enough to get back around. Car park is good but be careful coming out as bend on the ramp coming out is very tight easy to scrape car or alloys.

The location was good and it offered parking also. It was very secure and on the whole very quiet.

The bed/mattress was very uncomfortable, the shower had very little pressure and it really needs blackout curtains.

Great size, stunning view and convenient location. Very comfortable (firm) bed. Everything works nicely, and the kitchen is well equipped. Really helpful and friendly staff. Building is clean and secure. Excellent underground parking.

Oldish TV (not internet ready). Fine for watching standard channels though. A couple of scruffy corners, and would be nice with additional soft furnishing.
