The White Horse Hotel Romsey Hampshire - The Coaching Inn Group - Southampton

In the heart of the market town of Romsey The White Horse is just a few yards from Romsey Abbey. This 14th-century boutique hotel offers a brasserie and bright, elegant rooms. The hotel’s Georgian facade conceals a Grade II listed building, with individually styled rooms.

Some feature original period features, while all have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom. A mix of traditional and modern dishes is served in the award-winning Brasserie, which has views of the courtyard. The bar stocks real ales and a wide range of wines and whiskeys.

The hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the scenery of the New Forest, and there is fishing on the River Test just a mile away. Romsey’s boutique shops and restaurants are within 0.5 miles.

View from room was not pretty - various outbuildings etc. But to be expected in centre of town?
